Yes - you would need them all because as far as Skyrim's game engine is concerned Races are handled as completely individual even if they are closely related to/co-operate with other similar creature races within the world. 1

rawr55 Posted August 23, 2024 Posted August 23, 2024 This was working for me before, but after updating all my mods, including Papyrus Extender to 5.8.0 and starting a new game, I am now getting a CTD when entering conversations after this mod is installed via the MCM menu. I've confirmed that I have the latest versions of all the requirements and that it is this mod causing the crash.

There are a series of posts about this point in the thread that might help, although I'm not sure or not if they may have been partly superceded Also have a search through the thread for more up to date advice. Try a search on 'outfits' and then resort the results by latest date first order Hope that helps DQW

If you are crashing on dialogue then either you have an incorrect version of PO3 Script Extender installed or something is overwriting the correct version.

But for some reason, the device equipping is extremely slow, causing unforgiving devices to throw constant warning messages because of equip timeout. This only occurs in the newest version. And i dont know if you are too familiar with Unforgiving devices, but if a follower is registered in the mod the follower will try to struggle out of the DD, which kinda conflicts with FSM. I dont know if you can patch it in FSM that enslaved followers will be expelled from UD, or if its up to the UD team to make a patch. Either way these are just small complaints for an overall great mod 2

Well, it does say "may be enslaved", not that they unconditionally will be. Submissive Lola, for example, assumes that the "master" follower escapes whatever event sent the PC to the slave auction, and must be available to buy the PC back if the Submissive Lola enslavement outcome is chosen. Even if another outcome gets selected, the PC is locked to that follower as a slave and can't submit to or be bought by a different follower through Submissive Lola. Also, escaping a potentially lengthy slave contract by "accidentally" getting defeated is too easy and would be an obvious ploy, so the master is presumed to be ready to flee. Bane Master respected that Submissive Lola and Devious Followers masters shouldn't be enslaved and has exempted them. However, any other followers with you are fair game, so you might still have to rescue captured followers even when using those mods. Hopefully this helps explain the reasoning behind Bane Master's decision. 2

Just looked into it, UD has great documentation and i tried to use the UD_API in my patch with the UnregisterNPC function, but im having mayor problems with the compiler because my whole CK and skyrim install is held together by hopes and dreams.

There is no specific registration function - followers are automatically registered either via the follower framework or when you open a dialogue with them FSM requires followers to be in the CurrentFollower/CurrentHireling or PotentialFollower/Hireling Factions and have the ActorTypeNPC keyword Also they cannot be a devious follower or in the list of potential Masters in Submissive Lola You can check if your follower is registered by checking if they are listed on the Enslavement MCM Page. If they are not there have a dialogue with them (a vanilla dialogue - not a custom one) and check again. 1
