Alright, if anyone's familiar with Better Vanilla Hairs, then you probably know it was abandoned last year shortly after the whole Paid Mods shenanigans. Does anyone know if anyone else took up the mantle as it were and did their own version of that mod?

 

To re-phrase: aside from the one i linked, are there any other mods that smooth and fix the low-res vanilla hair? Basically SMIM for vanilla hair meshes? I'm not looking for Apachii hairs or the like, specifically improved vanilla hair so it's higher-poly and smoother so the rough hair cards aren't all poking out like a pinecone.

Where can i find a mod for less "cruncy" footsteps.  Especially when barefoot.  

 

I looked at http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50109/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D50109%26preview%3D&pUp=1 but it didn't sound any better than the vanilla sounds to me.  The barefoot sounds fine on pavement and stone, but loud and crunchy everywhere else.  

 

Every other shoe/boot just sounds like gravel regardless of the surface being walked on.

Is there a mod that allows for a really dark skin color? As dark as this, but not as a custom race if possible: http://i.imgur.com/pvJWDSw.png

Is there a way to get a proper crosshair? The current one is too hard to see against many backgrounds. It's not right to have to frequently waste valuable seconds in combat trying to figure out what you're aiming at, because the damned crosshair is almost invisible.

There is FPS Cross Hair and the high contrast version of Dot Cross Hair and Thinner Compass.

I remember watching a video once, a tutorial on how to make a custom wanted poster or bounty letter.

 

I'm trying to put a certain NPC's face on a note with a caption of like WANTED or something, and place that note in game for some screenshots.
