DeepBlueFrog Posted July 17, 2013 Author Posted July 17, 2013 She's working wonderfully now, and the only thing I can see that I'd like an optional download for is her dialog. It quickly went from, "Ooo, kinky," to "Please... just... shut up." She's a run on sentence of the same 3-4 dialogs. I don't mind the small number of voiced dialog, just the frequency at which she uses them. Example: While I was chopping wood, she said her dialogs at least three times in the one animation sequence of splitting logs. I'm running on a timescale of 10 if that means anything. The next version should work better in that respect. I tried to limit AI packages that allow idle chat. I am also looking into keeping her quiet for good when she is wearing a gag I am currently play testing the next version. The biggest items are working : bsa packaging, scripts cleanup, Zaz animations and items, basement improvements and dynamic stats based on how regularly you show her your 'affection'. I have a small issue with idle paths in the basement I still have to fix and I will post an update, tonight or tomorrow depending on how much time I can test her. I will keep an eye on her idle chat while I take her out.

I thought the framework was the main mod and that the animation package was just a library for it. I know better now. I will repair that in the next version since I need to do some cleanup anyway. I will also package the whole thing in a bsa file. So yes... the next version will only need the animation framework. As far as the other suggestions go, a lot of them would be nice and even preferable (I would like to have configurable behaviors), but it will take time before I get that kind of practice with the editor. I would like to expand on the basement, but it would be a couple of rooms at most. I like the simplicity of it but at the same time, it is getting cramped. I am already planning on having a victim available in the basement for her to play with. ZAP already contains a spawnable slave that I can build onto. I agree that basement is to crowdy... And to ugly in my opinion too XD I would love to see the walls like in the custom houses from heartfire... Now that are nice basements... In the matter of a couple of rooms... To crowded wouldn't be good either cause then it would be like a house... Unless you add some working ground to it like a smithy... All by all... Custom house or not it should add to the house there is... Torture, prison room, sleeping room, Storage are about the best things I can think of at max next to working grounds like smith and such... But in truth I never understood a smithy in a basement... Where does all the smoke go ?

They are packed in the BSA to be standalone if anyone doesn't care about customization, but the mesh and texture folders will be included in the zip file for those who do want to change her. The folders will always override the bsa file.

I changed the lighting quite a bit and tweaked things a little, including a table with a full set of sharp embalming tools I need to practice building rooms before more extensive remodeling of the basement.

Of course, I read this after I packaged everything and released the new files Bear with me, the spam is still there. I will reduce it in the next update (this weekend I suppose). I am still testing the balance and progression of her stats. She still feels too overpowered to me. On the bright side, I added conditions to limit her idle chat (including turning them off completely if she is wearing a gag like the one in her chest). Let me know how it goes. I hope I did not miss anything in the zip file and bsa archive.
DeepBlueFrog Posted July 18, 2013 Author Posted July 18, 2013 Before anyone comments on these, there are a few known issues: - The new cross from Zaz animation pack is not active (working on that.. maybe replaced later by pillory) - I noticed some path issues with the idle path to the cage - There are too many debug comments - Her skills progression probably still too quick - The gag only removes most idle and custom topics. Default follower topics are still available with their subtitles (if you have subtitles on). - One of her random perks just says 'Alicia drops to her kneees' and nothing happens. She will eventually stagger once I figure out how (I will keep this list in the second post of the thread)

I use Wrye Smash 303 to install all my mods, at this time I have 161 mods Bashed to 152 mods. At this time I have not added any other Followers yet. I also have 9 Sexlab mods installed, Fnis, Ap v3.05, Niruins Business plan, CBBE v3 with TBBP and a lot more. As I said she works so far but one thing I see that I do not like is she runs a head of me and has a one hit kill move. Waay to strong, after all she is using a dagger rated at 10. I can't get a Hit in. Also I just bought a horse and can not give it to her. I can not add her to my Follower list. I know this is a Beta mod and there are thing that you have to do to improve it. AS I said so far so good. I just which that I could do what you boys can do with modding. I'm just a retired 68yrs old truckdriver. And yes I did The Blood on the ice first and I do have Neutral Hjerim v1.01 installed, I did the Quest then Bought the house before I found Alicia.

What do you mean by 'cannot add her to your follower list'? Are you using any mod to enhance followers (like AFT, UFO or EFF).? She should be added to your follower list as soon as you meet her. I am still working on her stats. I agree she is still way too powerful.
The Corsair Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Ok so i install this i was using the base mod when she is in whiterun basement house player, seems to work ok for now, even if i don't have the house in Windhelm it work's, i just have to continue the quest for the murder you know, and i got accest to the basement with the key. I have been told the next version of EFF will be using MCM menus for configuration, so I will be waiting for that. Try moving Alicia.esp before or after EFF and see if that makes a difference. I noticed she works better when she is placed before AFT and for some other reason, she needs to be placed after UFO. Something similar could be happening with EFF.

CGi Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Alicia and EFT (as well as UFO and AFT) are handled by BOSS, so let BOSS sort them in.Basicly, all follower mods are loaded after follower frameworks. Btw: Alicia works just fine with the latest EFT.

I run with her and 3 other companions, so watching for a solo fight for her was purely coincidence and rewarding to watch. She turned, popped it one time with a dagger and sent it cartwheeling over her head before it could hit her once.

She turned, popped it one time with a dagger and sent it cartwheeling over her head before it could hit her once. She is like that... can't stand those cats. The issue was a combination of custom leveling based on her hit count (how many times you hit her) mixed with automatic leveling synched with the player (which I forgot about) and using increments to stats when I meant to use full updates. As a result, she was increasing her stats by 5 points with each hit instead of 1 point every 20 or 50 hits. The new Alicia will make a brave effort to protect her Master and will bleed-out a lot in the process. In early stages, she will provide barely enough cover to distract NPCs away from you while you fight them. If you keep her satisfied and beat her regularly, she will dispatch them properly. I am even thinking about slowing down her perks if you make her wear armor... you know how much she hates that.

I am working on adding a custom clothing place-holder with minimal armor rating (1 point). It will be found in the basement chest. It will have a cuirass, gloves, boots and helmet. That way you can give her the clothing you like, with much less armor rating, right when you meet her. All you have to do is install the clothing mod you want and copy/rename the meshes to match the ones from her custom clothing. Textures have to remain untouched as they are defined in the mesh.
