Gameplayer Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 Amorous Adventures Sexlab version for SE. Got the sexlab Got Lieto Animations installed Sexlab Animations do work. Select 'Kiss me' Get foreplay animation instead. Sure I can cycle through the animations until I get the correct kissing animation but back in SkyrimLE it would only cycle through tagged 'kissing' animations. Checked through some threads, found out that if there are no tagged kissing animations its supposed to go to foreplay animations. OK. But I have the kissing animations installed, so what gives? I can not have been the only person having the issue, so maybe someone has it figured out by now? I thought SkyrimSE was supposed to be where its at now, but with something like this not working IDK guys.

However, and fwiw, there's another mod (flower girls maybe? possibly AFT but I think Flower Girls) that provides an alternate kiss action, ie, a literal kiss act, but you have to "romance" your way to it with a named NPC over time. (basically, a series of bauble bribes - jewelry, tasty food, potions crystals etc - whenever the associated dialogue option pops up when talking to them). You don't have the option of selecting from a series of kiss poses or anything. but it's a ~lingering, clothed kiss in standing position)

I did see that Amorous Adventures has a plus version with a flower girl mod requirement. Not sure that is a solution right now in the current game since its well underway, changing the LO too much has been problematic even with save tools it seems SkyrimSE demands new games when changing too much >< Reading comments over there, I get the impression that Amorous Adventures has working kiss animations for romantic interests.

Although I can't remember when my ability to play a simple kiss scene started, I'm almost certain that in the past I was able to have an Amorous Adventures-initiated kissing scene with my previous SL version 1.63 Beta8 (various builds from the GitHub), kissing whatsername Valerius goodbye at the Riverwood bridge, for example, which now results in stripping and foreplay. I have also had some sex dialog mods that have a "kiss me" option, and they used to work with SL too. I'm currently on SSE 1.5.97 + SKSE64 2.0.17 + SexLab 1.63 with SLU+. I wonder if kisses have stopped working for AE users running SL 1.64c? Can you help us track down our missing kisses, @OsmelMC??

How would I go about getting other versions of Sexlab, did not see a working gethub link on the main download page. Also yes, have Sexlab version 1.63 which I think is for Pre AE installations only did this cause it looked like it had currently best compatibility at the time installing it a few weeks ago.

Need to download the original HDTsextoys mod here, Convert it using nif converter, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4089 Then of course I have no idea how to correct the FNIS behviour hkx file, but I used the one I found over here.... After that, all the animations calling on objects actually have objects. There is some other site that actually has that file up working, but why not here on LL? Figured that much out but still no dice on getting the kisses to work. How long has SkyrimSE been out now? An this stuff is not straightened out!?

But being honest I had to fix most of them to do it right. Most of the Mods just call for a specific kiss animation or any animation with the kissing Tag and that's right but come with few issues. In first place if you only want a kiss you have to make sure of get all the "Kissing" tagged animations with the "LimitedStrip" tag or at least excluding the "Penis, Vaginal, Anal, Cunilingus" Tags. That way you only get pure kiss animations. The second thing is play the scene as standard scene or forced scene, without LeadIn because you can't play only leadIn scenes as leadIn, and you don't want the system making a leadIn (foreplay) scene without your consent when you are trying to play a kiss scene as forced or standard. Finally and optional but very important for immersion. You have to force a Strip preset that only remove the Head Slot of the actors so they get the helmet removed but keep the body armor or dress. The real problem is that not too many people care enough for the kiss scenes, so the author's never tried to do it in a right way and most of them have bug or compatibility issues. I should make a kiss Function for the next version at least as example.

I'm surprised- I thought I had finally broken SexLab via too many (or too broken) related mods in my 400+ mod game, which is why I never raised the issue. Well, this doesn't sound right to me because my wigs are all in slot 31 as they should be, but that's the helm slot too. I really don't want the kissing scene to strip my wig. But now it appears that kissing is broken for everybody! I'd never even realised this was an issue. Felt... natural to me. Although now that I think of it, long time ago I was using AA with Flower Girls before I discovered SexLabs even existed and I think it did have kissing animation in that particular moment. But maybe I'm just imagining things. I still prefer the "go right down to business" approach of SL. Kissing is just too innocent for what's in my load order.

Helmets have many slots but I only care about the Head slot that i think is the 30. The Head slot in fact remove the Head and face when is equipped so is only used on closed helmets and like you can imagine you can give a kiss without lips
