FYI, People with overlay issues on 1.6.1170 may like taking a look at this. Spoiler If you encounter any issues with OverlayFix on pre-release or normal releases, please send OverlayFix.log, a crash log if one is generated, the version of OverlayFix you have installed, and a description of what broke. Thanks to everyone who tests OverlayFix pre-release versions and sends logs for hard to reproduce bugs. Fixes RaceMenu overlays flickering when morphing. Fixes multiple RaceMenu crashes on 1170 and 1.5.97. Fixes RaceMenu morphs sometimes not applying. Optional overlay rendering order reversal with INI setting for backwards compatibility. Fixes Steamdeck external keyboard crash on 1170. Includes a workaround for 1.6.1170 and 1.5.97 to skip loading a corrupted RaceMenu save, this has a side effect of clearing all RaceMenu settings in the next save. (Enable the corrupted save workaround by adding "skipload=true" in OverlayFix.ini, and change to "skipload=false" after making a new save) Please send crash logs if you need a bugfix ported to an older version. Requires SKSE and the Address Library for the latest version of Skyrim SE/AE/VR. Tested with RaceMenu/SKEE64 0.4.19.16 on Skyrim AE 1.6.1170. Source code is available here on GitHub. An experimental mod with backported normal recalculation for 1.5.97 with new performance improvement for 1.6.1170 and 1.5.97 face morph sliders is available here: https://github.com/naitro2010/skee64backports/releases/tag/alpha-30 (credit for the normal recalculation code goes to Expired, I only ported it to CommonLibSSE-NG) Alpha 30 of skee64backports removes Load3D completely to prevent potential 3D model issues. Please make sure you are running OverlayFix 1.53 or newer for skee64backports compatibility.

You mentioned the order discrepancy between version a while ago. That feature is disabled by default. I'm interested in the results of the overlay flicker during morphs updates and the stability fixes. Thanks for the warning. I notice it in my game, but it does not last long. Using NiOverrideClean should clear during game session, but also may clear morphs and overlays. Those can be reset using mods debug.
initforthebewbs Posted July 16 Posted July 16 Having issues getting this running. Ive installed and double checked all requirements, expanded slave tats slot (slavetats NG GUI if relevant). Mod appears, gives the hammerheart quest. Enter milking machine and get the dialogue about becoming a cow and moo. However, zero transformation, no tattoos applied (save some random pink strobing), and then nothing happens. Waiting a week makes no change to appearance etc, I never get attacked by the hunters, literally nothing. Incredibly vague description, but any ideas what might be going wrong?

Have you been milking yourself? by default the transformation progresses when you're milked. if you want to test try 'help levelup 0 alch' in the command console and then add it yourself and drink it to see if anything happens. (or you can just equip it via the console if you want to avoid a step). Tatoos are not added by the transformation, and the hunters don't show up until after you've talked to paul at riverwood and again at the white run stables. You do have to have had at least one transformation level occur first though. Edited July 16 by zonder4213

I'll try talk to him first then. I did try milking after several days of waiting, didn't seem to do anything. re tattoos, I presume the mod was trying to add them giving it was strobing the character on first milking, but maybe that's not a thing? edit: Ok, I brute forced levelup potions and the mod is working. I think I was just not being patient enough and milking enough haha. I have a bad tendency to try brute force mods to check they work. Edited July 16 by initforthebewbs

MCM setting "Transformation speed" (1st thing on settings page): defaults to "Normal". It takes... Ultra Slow = 6 Very Slow = 5 Slow = 4 Normal = 3 Fast = 2 Ultra Fast = 1 ...units of milk multiplied by cow stage to achieve until you reach it, e. g. with "Normal" setting, you need 3 units for stage 1, then 6 for stage 2, etc. With faster settings than normal you get some delays in the early stages still since applying the mutation takes longer than MME milking you a few times. Speaking of those speed settings, ultra slow is still a little fast for my milking-heavy load order. Any chance of some extra multipliers above that?

The ability to turn that off would be good. Barring that, a 10 multiplier would legitimately make me happy. Ultra slow is almost slow enough. Edited July 17 by Galactase

MilkAddict. BAC normally monitors curse progress solely with MME's milk ticker. Now with MME gushing turned on, that will still be pretty fast. I've added 3 decimals to my MME setting to have gushing like 0.005 when milking the cow off to get that done faster. Any full percentage there will turbo boost the cow progress. I'll add the stages nonetheless, but I'm guessing the problem lies elsewhere.

What in the world is causing that in my load order?

I think it is but not sure.

shyzeq Posted July 23 Posted July 23 When I choose either the Fat Cow or Slim Cow mutations, nothing visually changes. Am I missing something, or is this normal?
Ricordi Posted Friday at 08:46 AM Posted Friday at 08:46 AM (edited) Hello. I encountered the following problem. When I caught the bac curse, I saved the game, restarted and loaded the save. Now the overlays seem to update every 3-4 seconds, as if bac is trying to apply them to the character, but something is interfering (facial expressions also seem to reset). This is especially noticeable when combined with MDNM, which I assume detects overlay changes and tries to apply new normal maps (I've fiddled with all the ini settings, enabled/disabled the mod, but nothing helped, so this mod isn't the cause). I didn't have this problem before the curse started. Then I loaded with and without Racemenu OverlayFix. I also toggled Racemenu (SKEE) cosave Load Crash Fix on and off. I also loaded previous saves to restart the curse - to no avail. Are there any other things I should pay attention to? Has anyone else encountered something similar? MODLIST_.txt UPD: rolled back to the version 2.1.2 —> the overlay and face expression update bug disappeared. I suppose the issue is in the redesigned RegisterForSingleUpdate() system or something else, I don't know. I'll continue testing in my free time. Edited 12 hours ago by Ricordi

If you start out with a weight of 100, there's nothing BAC can do to increase your weight (fat cow). slim cow is meant for those who want the fat cow addons (larger hooves, etc.) but not the weight change. 1
Gnadng Posted Saturday at 09:12 AM Posted Saturday at 09:12 AM im to the point where paul is saying he'll milk me, but nothing is happening. im wondering if its because sexlab p+ doesnt have the breastfeeding animation? im just kind of at a loss

All other morphs are community created, the "classics/standard" are mostly by ousnius. If you look at the armors or body meshes with the _0 and _1 at the end of their mesh files names, that is 0=0% weight and 1=100% weight morph scale without the need of a morphmetadata file (.tri), and that make it range-fixed. You see it indirectly in the Bodyslide-tool preview slide control between 0 and 100%. To make the body mesh look fatter without breaking other mods, the chubbybelly\chubbybutt\chubbylegs morph can be used if not already in use (extra visual range) or a custom morph similar to what the Devourment body has. Problem is that every item that is allowed to be equipped during the fat stages need to also follow the same morph range. Not impossible but it is a technical challenge for a niche feature. I did a similar solution for my personal main body using Devourment as a base, sadly I broke it and need to re-do. I did it for Fillherup cum-fill morphs, bloating the pubicToHalfbelly with a puffy look instead of the pregnant semi spherical look. Sample of the fat morph combination (forgot names, maybe SSBBW3) from Devourment main body, not the chubby combo. Spoiler I guess a naked-armor(Slot32) outfit could be forced-on at the always-naked-stages(if enabled) and that mesh will handle the morphs instead of the main character body any not-morphed equipped accessories is like to disappear inside the bloated mesh. Ricordi Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I know I asked this earlier, but no one replied at the time. What causes the continuous re-equip of overlays and expressions every 6 seconds after loading a save file with a curse already active? This only happens in version 2.1.3 (it doesn't happen in 2.1.2). This causes severe lag spikes and, after about a minute, causes the game to crash without a crash log.
