Hi,

 

My PC just started the transformation process, and the only thing that happened is that she got blackface. It's not the worst thing  that could will happen to her, but still.

I tried Googling it, but the only solutions I found are for NPCs.

 

I'm on LE btw.

Unfortunately racemenu doesn't work, the name keeps changing back to Cow 32 xD But I have some other mod in my game that allows to change name legaly for 20000 gold paid to Avenicci lol and it replaces the Cow name. Unsure why this is a thing, and still don't know what mod it is cause using a wabbajack pack and haven't figured out every component yet. But the thing is racemenu definitely doesn't swap the name, and some mods like "simple renamer" doesn't work either. Only this mysterious mod that rips your wallet xD

Anyway thanks for confirming that and thanks for your work! This mod is one of my favorite out there

I've found out that the only mod that can change your name to something else on top of bac is yps immersive fashion.

Maybe it's locked only in my game, because of some weird relationships between mods or something.

Especially concerning is that this is pre-start of the BAC quest/transformation. I have it set to lactacid start, 20 units, and my character has never reached that much, at least not yet. I'm assuming that my save is fried?

 

EDIT: Save might be fried. Looking through Resaver, this error started a short while after starting a new game, unbeknownst to me. At least one MCM menu for another mod is no longer appearing (it was there during initial MCM setup), and the MCM for BAC now no longer loads; it just shows the splash screen and has no tabs. Trying to test terminating the scripts, probably not going to work.

 

All this is on 2.1.0 btw. Can't recall ever having this issue before, but idk.

Ik had the same with the BAC MCM and that had to do with a script running wild when you choose rape as a curse setting. There is a patch script a few pages back.

Yep. YPS *locks* the renaming and grabs it for itself. With YPS, you can only change your name using YPS' methods. BAC fires a mod event to YPS when naming the pc so that yps recognizes that change. Of course, it'll do the same when changing back.

The debovinification by milking sadly is a little volatile. The reason is that if you'd lose more than one stage at a given point (like e. g. with MME's gushing), it gets a hiccup. The only thing that helps as of now is to load a prior save game.

That is unfortunate since I don't really have the old saves anymore. Is there a way to stop debovification and restart it somehow?

Debovinifcation is just a flag (milking the cow off instead of on). Resetting that will probably not change anything, because the whole process seems to be stuck. It could be that you're somwhow stuck in the reequipping faction (xx09fc9d, xx = BAC's mod ID). If so, try to remove yourself from that first (player.removefromfaction xx09fc9d). That faction is used to block multiple reequip jobs grabbing the same cow. It can happen that the removal from that faction fails, like e. g. when you change the location just at that moment and the game makes an autosave. The autosave process seems to buffer faction ranks before the actual save and then set them again after it is done. That faction is automatically removed on game load by the way.

So, I might have not done things right. To actually fix the issue without starting a new game, should I terminate the script (bac.actor) and delete the suspended stacks? Terminating the script by itself doesn't seem to be doing anything.

I don't think that did anything, unless I did something wrong. Is there a way to just skip the entire debovification process or there is nothing I can do? I'm already level 50 and I kinda don't want to restart and it's really difficult to play with first person with some of the changes.

You are maybe running a version of SkyrimSE\AE older than 1.6.1130 or missing a requirement.

If the first statement is true, then add to your mod deployment the "workaround" BEES.   Look at the optional section in the description page for other things you may need, but are dependent on issues or version of Skyrim.

Yeah i have 1.6.117.0, i have had it work before i think it was 2.7 or 2.8 i run it in cathederal and unpacked bsa and it worked fine them.

From the optionals the only ones i didnt have for SE was expressive facegen morph an inventory functions, which shouldnt cause to much isue i wounldnt have thought, but i try again with them instaalled
