Happy Holidays. had similar issue, what fixed it for me was reset tattoo's in SlavetatsNG and save game + reload that save. (if you are using the new slavetatsNG that is)

I had some issues with that causing CTDs. Just walk around and do a location change, They will appear eventually. The same goes for the hunter tats when caught.

Slot #49 is the chastity belt slot which was intentionally *not* used, since several people wanted to have udders *and* a chastity belt. Slot #53 is *one* slot for navel piercings. There are several others, though. I changed BoS navel piercing to slot #60 in my installaltion to not have that collision. Accoring to YPS, you can have navel piercings in slots #53, #57 or #60. Since there are no alternatives for chastity belts, I'll have BAC stick to that assignment. Even if I changed that, the next item that would collide is one of the punishment devices used by Paul that also uses slot #53. I will offer this: I put an option page "Dynamic slot assignment" into MCM where you can select those slots manually, but you'd still have to change the .nifs, the ArmorAddons, and the Armors yourself. That would be great, as mentioned, I have already made those edits, the only issue was the scripts. I noticed that the slots was the chastity belt slot, however, it is also the LSAR skirt slot, and 53 is the LSAR greaves slot. So 49 works better for specifically that, though it causes chastity belt issues.

I am getting the purple head bug after a few moments in game (starts normal, then turns purple). I assume this is a texture missing but im not sure what to be looking for. Cow level is 30% so i was thinking it was an issue with maybe the cow faces 1-5 or similar. I have modifier the overlay slots from 3->20 and 6->30, and when resetting BAC progress via the debug menu, the purple face goes away, so i assume it is a BAC missing texture am i just missing a basic step that i was supposed to do upon set up?

I would be willing to provide papyrus logs if I'm told how to do it. If posting load order would help more, I'll be happy to oblige.

Is this because I have no animation installed for the quest to use or is the culprit different?

I noticed that sometimes the changes that I would really want are popping really late with random changes. I thought what if you added an option in the mcm that would allow you to choose one of three different changes instead of just one random change. You know, like you would get a popup with for example #cowface1 #Hooves2 #SlimCow and you can just choose one of them.

As an optional feature, a UIExtensions menu would be possible but it would list all available mutations at that point and not just three since the selection first just selects a category like, e. g. Head, and only in a second step the actual mutation from that category. So any menu I provide would work the same way since I do not want to reinvent the collection functions.

A couple other things that came to my mind while playing and writing this. After the addition of being able to sell cow flops, a thought popped up. What are bowel motions based? What's the timer? Can the timer be sped up? And, maybe a bit of a suggestion, would it be possible for the bell accessory to decrease sneak? Since it keeps ringing whenever we walk, I find it to be a little unrealistic that it doesn't influence our sneak level. And also, while writing this, do we know the actual reason that horns and ears improve sneaking? I sort of understand it as "ow, that over there isn't a person, that's a cow. nothing to worry about." but that kind of logic doesn't apply to indoors locations at all and is kind of a stretch in outdoors ones due to cows generally not being free roaming animals.

What I can offer is to add a possible detection check on bell sounds like with the farting and stomach growls. It's caused by the "unobtrusiveness" of cows. Of course, you have a point with the indoors thing. The problem with "indoors" is that several areas in vanilla Skyrim are marked as such but actually aren't like e. g. Eldergleam Sanctuary. There is no way I can find those out on a technical level (there's no special keyword). Currently the buff is the vanilla sneaking buff. I could make another one that only works "outdoors" and have the two exclusively activated by an MCM option. But how to define "outdoors"? It's not indoors, of course, but is e. g. the city of Whiterun actually outdoors (it's marked as such)? Edited January 8, 2025 by botticelli
Eluchel Posted January 8, 2025 Posted January 8, 2025 (edited) Hey Y'all, I just started playing this again (with being a cow and bimbos of skyrim), it was working fine for a while, I started getting some mutations, then my cow level stopped progressing and when I try to open the mcm being a cow menu it just shows the image but the menus don't show up. I looked through the papyrus logs but the only thing I could find that looked remotely like it might be a part of it was this error: "ERROR: (2201E41C): cannot start scene because its parent quest was not running. stack: [ (2201E41C)].Scene.start() - "<native>" Line ? [bac_unowned (2201DE47)].bac_unowned.reloadQuest() - "bac_unowned.psc" Line 280 [alias PlayerRef on quest bac_main (22001D90)].bac_alias.OnPlayerLoadGame() - "bac_alias.psc" Line 35" Does anyone know why the mod seemed to suddenly stop working and the mcm menu empty and how I can fix it? Edit: I have been doing some more testing. I was able to revert it to back when the being a cow stuff was working, but each time the mod and the mcm menu break eventually and I can't figure out what the pattern is for why they are breaking. So any help would be greatly appreciated! Edit 2: Ok after some more testing it seems like this might be related to Morella's Bimbos of Skyrim Making Love quest. I have now repeatedly had it work before finishing that quest, but by the time the quest is done BAC is no longer running. Wut1969 Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 Hi, It's been a few years since I used BAC in my playthroughs. I tried to install it yyesterday, and the installation part went fine. I changed the MCM settings to my likings from the prison cell and when I wanted to review something when I just started playing, I wasn't able to access the BaC MCM anymore. I get the splash screen, but no menu options, even after waiting some time. As it only happens with BaC, is this something people have experienced more often? I'm on LE, I have approx 400 mods and close to 254 esp's, and I know Skyrim is quircky, so I'm fully aware it could be lots of things. And honestly, not being able to access the MCM in game won't be much of a problem when I'm really playing, but I wanted to make sure that NPCs will become cows when they're being raped (by other NPCs). If there is a console command for cheeck that or if it shows up on the screen, that's fine too. Does the player have to start becoming a cow first or isn't that neccesary?
