ClaymoreZ Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Hi. I made a "new project" in bodyslide, build it, and in racemenu, when i trying add tats for example, it wont show up but it can be visible in other armor where used different body mesh. Its clear that i made an oopise when created project in bodyslide. Who knows what could cause it? Yes, i made little changes on body meshes and create "new project" and then use it.
ClaymoreZ Posted April 3, 2022 Author Posted April 3, 2022 I fixed it. To make it work right you have to when creating new project add reference body as it asks, add outfit/meshes, and in outfit studio you confirm it all, delete reference body and then after that you can save it savely. Now after building body, in game in racemenu tats are now visible. Before that i did it wrong.

I tried deleting the ref body as you suggested, but that didn't fix it. Can you tell me what you did to get it working, step by step?

Am tryed make crotchless body on bhunp. What i was doing wrong(i think), is editing existing project in outfit studio. You know, if you try edit something in existing base body project and then save it - in game with that body it will make not visible overlays in race menu. You should make fully new project with reference body and meshes you editing. Before deleting reference body, press "Conform all" in slider tab, so it add sliders from reference body to meshes. I dont know what you trying to do with base body in your case, but when i created project, i choose "BHUNP 3BBB Advanced ref 2" as reference and as meshes, used femalebody_1(i generated it in bodyslide with -zeroed sliders-( i moved a couple of sliders, to make it initially on -zeroed sliders-)). "Conform all", to make sliders work on meshes, then deleted reference body. Now you can save savely your project. Press "save project as". When saving, be sure that paths coincide and then it will create three files: .nif, .osd in ShapeData and .osp file in SliderSets. Be sure that files and folders have same name(to make them have same names - when saving project press "To Project" button. Write if it doesn't work. I'll help how i can

I think I got it working now by creating a new project with no reference, loading a reference to copy the sliders, then deleting the reference. I'm not sure why I can't just edit an existing project and save it, or how the body mesh breaks a texture overlay. But at least all the sliders and racemenu overlays work properly.
