At wits end, need help, don't judge too hard

I keep crashing and I don't have a clue why. at first I thought a spider was added outside the mara dungeon from Live Another Life.  but then then i went to the sleeping giant end and kept crashing there too.  i don't know what's causing it and my brain isn't big enough to comprehend a way to get around it. 

 

here is my list. it's got a lot of degenerate stuff, I wouldn't out myself this casually, but I need help. I can't figure out why I'm crashing.

Most of this are suggestions, not knowingly fixes. I don't declare anything i write at this point as sure fire problem solvers, they just tickle my spidy senses.

Get rid of them

You are using creature framework who edits every creatures in the game to a point where problems with them will crash your game. Dunno if you have a fear for bugs but just try it without them to see if thats the case, or deinstall creature stuff and try then, comes down to what's more important.

 

You could also try reinstalling your skeleton, sometimes it gets overwritten by something it shouldn't without us knowing it. Happened to me myself once and simply reinstalling it solved it without me having to think too hard on that. Just see to it that it gets overwirten only by mods that needs to overwrite it, you don't have that much.

 

Looks like your CTD the moment you encounter an actor tho i would start with the Skeleton before doing the others.

Dunno much about your modlist and even less about SE, but it AFAIK 3BBB is an UNP body, and the next mod in your list is CBBE.

Try disabling one of them (but I may be dead wrong, and my mumblings are complete rubbish)

No, its an upgraded version of cbbe and you need cbbe for it. ^^

Oh, I have no problem with the spiders. my game does. it used to shit the bed every time one of them crawl up so I just replaced them with bears. of course it doesn't change spiders added by other mods so I assumed that was what the problem was.

evolution/parentage: CBBE >> CBBE special >> CBBE Advanced >>  CBBE -SMP >> CBBE-3BBB >> CBBE-3BA

 

and (roughly) UNP >UUNP >> BHUNP >> BHUNP v2 for that type (with some intermediate alternatives left out) 

 

CBBE and UNP families use different textures and are designed somewhat differently.  UNP family textures are incompatible with CBBE family bodies and visa versa. (same for clothing and armor made for them) 

 

And then there's himbo, which is for males... I'm just citing this one. I use a stick male body for my male vector.

not bug begone either. im at a loss for reasons why this is happening. is it tech? im using a Lenovo Legion Y720. is it too weak?

that's it chief. 

symtoms are too vague to describe. first, leaving the live another life mod ares, ctd. go into riverwood, nobody is outside. enter the inn, turn to my left, ctd. all the creatures were there though. just no people.

list hardware specs too. I'm no expert, but there are others who seem to be able to judge based on a person's hardware listings.

 

CPU, chip speed, Memory, Graphics card, Video memory, "harddrive" info could help too, although the first four five are afaik crucial measures

Aside from mention of LAL... I never had any luck at all with that mod. I eventually uninstalled it. However, many love it, but for me, well, it made my game life a misery with constant CTDs.

any other alternate starts? I would be furious to sit through the cart ride just to CTD again.

Crash when spiders are loaded is usually an indicative of creature related mods installed out of order/being overwritten by other mods when they shouldn't. Now, replacing spiders with bears to avoid the crash is like walking in the opposite direction of a solution here.

 

You could try to get a crash log and confirm the crash is related to spiders (using Net Script Framework logs if you're on SE 1.5.97 or the Crash logger if you're on 1.6+). In any case you'll need to confirm the mods you have installed at the moment were properly installed/loaded. A crash log could help you to pinpoint the type of mods you'll need to check, but to put it simple you'll need to go over things you previously overlooked.

i downloaded the Net Script Framework but it's not giving me any details on the crashes when they happen. i'll just have to delete newer mods until the crashing stops. it's my only option.

Make sure you fully read Just Don't's post. .Net Script Framework is not updated to the latest builds, so unless you went out of your way to backdate your game to 1.5.97 it will not work and you need to use Crash Logger instead.

And it has requirements. And in the very description there are details about how and where to get the logs. But the key part here as chaimhewast says is the game version. Unless you're on 1.5.97 it won't work at all, that's why I also mentioned Crash Logger for 1.6+. You can refer to its description in case that's the one you need to use for your game version.

for some reason, god only knows, it's working now.

 

i guess all i need to do is fix the spider peoblem then i can get rid of the bug begone. i was deleting mindlessly so i have no idea which one was the culprit.
