just checking in, seeing if there was an estimate for release of the rebuild? no rush of course, I really appreciate the work going into these saves.

School picked up for me real fast and I got a massive workload on my plate. I'm still working on the save but only in short bursts.

Related creators are also doing updates on some of their work and I thought I'd knock out two birds with one stone. I focus more on my schooling and by the time that slows down, the others will have their updates so you guys get a more complete package.

Hello,

Thanks for this amazing world. I was wondering if there's anyway to mass download the mods rather than clicking on each one ?

This sadly cannot be done due to updates.

Almost all of the mods are being actively worked on and get updates and expansions as time goes on. This is ESPECIALLY apparent in careers.

We're restructuring the torrent for the next update and after that it will be new "update" torrents that you add on top.

Check your UI mods. Something is broken or needs an update.

Great mod, having a lot of fun exploring what you've done with this savefile, so thank you very much for sharing. I was wondering, I just downloaded the version before the update, and frankly it took a while to torrent, (probably all day to be honest) is it detrimental to use the former version? I'm not notice big bugs, but there have been a couple and I'm wondering if I'm risking the save by not updating? If it isn't an issue, I'd like to play it a bit more before having to potentially update again, but if it's risking the save then I'm just wasting time anyways, so should I update?

No but as you said it is kinda buggy. It also doesn't support half of the mods I've listed on the front page.

I am working on an update. It can be released but it does need a few tweaks and I'd prefer to wait for some lots that people are working on.

If I finish all tweaks before the lots are finished I might as well just release it.

As for the long download? Sorry buddy, nothing I can do about it. This is considered one of the most fleshed out saves for a reason.

Yeah, it's all good about the DL time, no complaints, it's a bit tedious, however, I don't really mind. In the long run It's likely going to take longer to re-implement all that I've done than worry about the long Torrent DL. And in all fairness, it's actually much faster than I expected. When I seen the size, I was expecting like three days. Thanks for the information, and thanks for the hard work.

Hi, i apologize for bothering, but what specs do you have? I'm lagging on this save and with the mods from the torrents. I have a pretty mid-tier PC:
3060 12gb
r5 3600

16gigs

1TB SSD

That's more than enough to run this game, but with any modded games there is always going to be stutter/lag unfortunately. Try to turn off online features that sometimes helps.  For me it does it when I first load the game and lot I intend to play with, after a short time and everything is done loading up it runs smooth.

Ahh okay  The turning off online features actually kinda helped it a bit, thanks

Playing the save recently, Having a ton of fun; One thing that's broken for me completely, is the highschool, but nonetheless great stuff!

I always forget to point it out because I always replace the one in any save with one I already have. Also, I rarely actually use the high school.

One issue, the way the cafeteria is set up keeps everyone from being able to buy food at lunch. I found that deleting the center rectangular column in the table area and placing the cafeteria stand thing there helps.

Another issue is the number of chairs in each classroom and the way they're set up forces several kids to sit on the ground.

Essentially, the high school that exists in the save is a good example of one of my pet peeves for buildings others create in Sims 4: Form over function. Often people will build stuff to be nice looking but utterly worthless as an actual place to play the game. I've downloaded mansions with no bathrooms. Multi-bedroom houses with no clear master bedroom.... minor things that annoy me.

I suggest replacing the high school with the default version. If you don't have one saved, Create a new base game save, create a random sim and go in game and drop them off in some random lot. Then go to neighorhood mode and go to the highschool and save the building. Then load up the save you're playing and go to the high school and just drop the newly saved version on the current one.

It sucks that it doesn't work as it has everything school clubs need. Ugh.

I guess I'll edit a base game option or something. It'll be in the next update.

I should've probably stated or said what problem i was having for the Copperdale, But no matter what school from the gallery or basegame you change it to, only a single teacher is present, meanwhile no principle, or janitor is present. I am not a 100% sure if this is a problem with the save or just a me thing, probably a me thing though LOL, I'll compromise with playing on university though :P

Weird. The admittedly minimal testing I've done had all employees show up.

That stuff works fine for me as well. I even have a couple mods that I add in sometimes that increase the number of students and the number of teachers/cafeteria people. Everything works fine. Its just the building itself causing my issues.

I have a few more other mods not in the torrent added, so i'll remove mostly everything that isn't cc or the save's mods. Probably would've been smarter to remove some older mods ? completely my fault

I don't believe so but I don't know why you'd want to move them into a house.

Oh, i must have done something wrong then. there are households with the NPC name located in lots already. based on your response im assuming that shouldnt be the case

Hello i see that the mod have been updated the 25 May, so is it smart to update the whole save now? Or an other one is gonna coming out soon? Cause i was reading in the comment here that an other one was incoming?

Hmm. The game has a check for larger households to be moved into empty lots. Some NPCs are grouped together so that may be causing an issue. I usually just have that feature turned off.

It's gonna be annoying but I could separate some of the NPCs...

Thank you very much for such a wonderful build and an amazing new game world! It's amazing and looks great!

After playing for 4 hours, I had a question about fame points for all characters. I looked in the saved game, the default is to give up glory.

Can you please tell me if this setting needs to be changed? Will it affect something? It's just that my character will remain a no-name sim.

There is also a question about autonomy - I read the comments, you wrote that in the game settings you need to enable complete freedom of choice, but is it worth it to enable complete freedom of will of the selected characters?

Thank you in advance for your replies, and good luck with your endeavours.
