So two updates.

1. I haven't updated my game yet so I'm still making progress and not sitting on my ass as I wait for all the necessary mods to be updated.

2. I have FINALLY set up every Maxis sim available for download. I gave them all skills, 90% of them have corrected traits or traits that make more sense that they didn't have access to due to DLC not being out yet. I've set some as NPCs, and with the region mod I even assigned them to areas that'd make the most sense. A lot of these don't have backstories so that will come later. Ghost will probably do a few touch ups on some and maybe mrrakkon will adopt one or two. No promises on either.

 

TL;DR Progress with the save is progressing without issue and random NPCs should be extremely reduced.

I'm gonna be adding careers and mods to the download list. So don't get your hopes up by too much if you see notifications.

 

I'm gonna finish up some things and then when the mods are all updated, I'm gonna test growing up and then that's when I'll upload the save.

 

Should be within the next month or so. I hope you guys enjoy it when it does come out. We've basically doubled what we had since last update.

After spending the last week or so downloading, installing and redownloading and reinstalling mods and having an headache of a time, this is truly music to my ears!

I have too many mods that I think I'll just delete all my mods and freshly install Sims 4 and your mods + save, just to experience it lol. Will be eagerly waiting for the update. Thank you for your work.

BTW with the new update, is it still fine to remove households as long as they dont have the NPC tag in their name? like it is currently i mean

You didn't follow the instructions. If you're missing the custom content, you forgot the torrent.

You have to download both torrent files plus the save file. Then you extract them to your mod folder, and place the save file in your sim saves.

I did that? Idk what I did wrong, i know i am missing at least 15 game packs so maybe that's why some sims are naked and are bald?

So update. I got a lot of core things set and done.

 

I sent the save file over to mrrakkon. 

I made a google doc of "Things to Do" so that way I can make quick changes. I'm working on these changes(I forgot some relationships and high school related traits) and once everything is set up right, you'll be getting the new save which will be up to date with the latest patch.

 

All expansion packs are covered, but as always, none of the kits are.

 

Please remember that I also don't keep track of mods not listed on the front page.

Hey, I was just about to start downloading and now I see this update  I have currently vacation and wanted to try this new save. If I only have to wait a few days, I'm happy to do it.  Can you tell me the prediction, please?

No idea my dude. I sent the save over to mrrakkon and there's a lot of errors that popped up. I'm gonna work on fixing them.

Have you ever looked into making a Wabbajack modlist that could auto-install all the required mods? Excited for the update.

Hey briarknit, that sounds like a bug. I hope you only have updated mods in the game. I downloaded the ccs and saw that there are also script files in the trait folder. It's important to make sure that everything is up to date - especially the ones that were already in the download file.

Where you download the CC? And the script files?

IF you dont have anything yet, you have to download all three files from the first page. BUT I would wait if I were you, because the update of the save file will be here soon. Then: open the trait folder, read the names of the mods and use google to search for the newest updates. Again- this is for the older save file. I'm sure when triggerblade updates the world, he/she will put the newest files in the torrent files ?

 

edit: This is the file I'm talking about:  (0) Custom Traits. I hope everbody knows that you have to use a torrent programm to download the ccs from the first page. I will assume that...?
