yep

the curent form 0 script in use. only base functions for R0-R3 versions i mean the remake.

the pre remake uses scripts but its a differentstory.

i assume you use remake version.

 

in the original version the slaver base hidden a diferent place that the new version.

( to make life more intresting :D)

 

in the new version latest realise to get acces any slaver base you must have "SLOS-Work-slaverslair.esp" installed and working.

 

this ads new workplace and slaver lair to the game.

 

the slaver workshop very close to riverwood.

if you fast travel to riverwood and start move toward guardian stones other side of river you see a enemy. A nemed enemy who wandering around aimlessly and propbably try attack you.

 

This one carry a leatter that lcontains instructions how to find the  the slaver worshop( in morrowind style ,yes in the old morrowind no quest marker and we need find locations based on guidance we recived! ).

 

the slaver workshop entrance has no map marker, and hidden below some bushes. within 30 sec walk from riverwood fast travel point.

The enemy npc who is named : "Huss the simple" expected to wander near the entry point. He to not find the workshop.

 

Secund slave lair can be found "near" Anise Cabin.

Same rules apply here: 30 sec from fast travel point or sorter distance under some bushes a trapdor.

This one the moment no lead, other than slavers, slaves, enter and exit from here time to time.

 

I plan add a doucoment to slave workshop that give leads to this slave hunter base.

 

Side note: my self failed soem tiems find the entrance both places after long brake making this mod. so all entrance very well hidden in plain sight :)

 

Reason for well hide this entrances simple:

slavers wish remain unseen, so the slavers do their best to keep slaver bases location secret.

 

if you fail locate the workshop pls let me know next time i provide more help to locate that workplace :)

I just looked for the last 3 hours and nothing. I can't find the NPC you are talking about. Nor can i find any of the trapdoors or anything.

 

 

I just used an NPC finder and it couldn't find that NPC Huss the Simple. I checked and rechecked the mod and it is active and working.

i checked the uploads and found the source of issues.

 

my bead. i uploaded R0 instead of R1 of slave hunter lair :=(

 

Thank you for reporting something not okay. Now with the correct version you get the npc and the promised workplace.

But the remake stable no script in use :) and cereful this slavers not kidding! (the wandering slavers for low level player can be death stance... )

Hi!  I'm not trying to be difficult, and I understand that if you are using a machine translation, they can confuse things. ?

 

But I cannot work out which files in the download section are needed to make this work as you intend ?

 

Can you please make a SIMPLE list of the files that we need to install to make this work.  :smile:

A - MUST HAVE THESE BASE FILES

 

- SLOS R-3

- ANY OTHERS

 

B - ADDONS FILES WHICH WILL WORK WITH R-3

I took three skims of the main page, and I still have no idea what this mod is about. No personal offence meant: of all the mods on LL, this one takes the cake. Is it so hard to write a simple introduction for those new to your work and put it at the top? Or are you trying to gatekeep this mod by providing it to those who have some apparent existing knowledge while turning away all other potential testers/users?

I'm having a bit of a hard time figuring out exactly what the mod is/does. Is there a description somewhere that I'm missing? Maybe in a blog post somewhere?

yes,

 you need the R1 version

 

i use R instead v i know it is not usual thing.

 

R stand for Realise or Realise Number.

always the highest the last. i time to time leave the older versions avible if some one need it.

 

The image i added in spoilers hold true the R0 version. Slaver lair exist in R0 version but no Huss the Simple this npc come with R1.

in this weak end i going to remake this mod download section to make more easy to all understand whats going on here.

 

I know one point i need learn how to use fomod installers, how to set up. if any one know a guide how to use it pls let me know!

To me sometimes yes :( i going rewrite soons as possible to make more easy to understand what is going on.

Totaly not, my communciation skills need lot of improvment.

its probably lost as i started remake the original one :(

 

the original idea of this mod is this:

make a mod that add slavers that mimic the player slavers( pahe users mostly ) tactics and weapons, mutch as possible without using any scripts.

So the mod work well with any other slavery/pahe mod.

 

This way adding npcs that can defeat player and this way tigger player slavery mods OR if player self is pahe user/Slaver provide lot of new npc that can be captured.

 

 

To make possible change mod behavior i added addons, this addons work like on off switch. becuse no scripting in use, this is the way the mod can be made costumized.

 

This idea changed as lot of users asked:

  Make npc slavers do slaver things to player character.

 

My self added new goal to: no mod add "slavery simulation" to the game. i mean slaver economy, a working slaver guild that can be joined by player or chose to fight aginst it.

 

i plan write a detailed discription for Slavers of Skyrim in a new SLOS devloper blog, just not found time yet to do it.

I'm still struggling to work out what you plan to do. so here's some ideas that I hope might help

 

You'll kill your mod as very few will use it because most of us don't have the time to work out what to do, and will get fed up playing with it if they arent using the right combination of file version and screw up their games

 

Therefore

 

First, for goodness sake!, please just stick to normal filename conventions

 

Second, If you want ppl to understand where your progress is, and what best to install/update, do something like this (doesn't need top be identical, but should be similar to what other people do)

 

Third, FOR EACH CHANGE SAY IF it can be installed over earlier versions OR if need to uninstall prior versions first and then reinstall OR Needs a new game

 

So ..... as a practical example, text on your main mod page should have a SIMPLE summary, like

 

For main MOD versions

 

V1.0

 

V1.1

V1.1.2 - Patch to overwrite V1.1

 

 

V1.2 (SAY IF it can be installed over earlier versions OR if need to uninstall prior versions first and then reinstall OR Needs a new game)

V1.2.1 Patch 1 to overwrite1.2

V1.2.2 Patch 2 to overwrite 1.2 and 1.2.1

V1.2.3 Patch 3 to overwrite 1.2 1.2.1 1.2.2

 

V1.3  New Version - Incorporates the prior patches (Overwrite Prior Versions)

v1.3.1 Revised V 1.3.1 incorporating 'further fixes' x,y,z (Overwrite Prior Versions)

 

V1.4 New Version (Uninstall prior Versions before Installing/etc)

 

etc

 

....and ....

 

For your ADDONS

 

ADDON SLOS v 01.0 - can be used with V.1, patched for 1.1.1 and 1.1.2, and  higher.  Overwrite SLOS v 01.0

ADDON SLOS v 01.1 - can be used with V.1, patched for 1.1.1 and 1.1.2, and  higher.

ADDON SLOS v 01.1.1 - - can be used with V.3, patched for 1.3.1 higher.

 

ADDON SLOS 02 - can be used woith 1.2 patched to 1.2.2 and higher

 

ADDON SLOS 03 - can only be used with v1.3 and higher

 

ADDON SLOS 04 - can only be used with V1.3.1 and higher

 

..... and so on

I made a new blog to post all information about this mod the blog can be found here, with detaield information what this mod suposed to do:
 

The download page and description section going to be cleaned up after i made a separate mod entry how files suposed to be used with the new version.

Pre Remake version informations i plan left untuched in the download section hidded under spoiler for time beeing.

Plan is after i realized the prototype scriptless version the pre remake version fully going to be removed.

 

More plans and what going to happen i realsie another blog post the linked blog with more detailed information.

 

any idea suggestion welcome in the blog post or here or via private message :)

i try record all sugestion to my notes time will thell what i can make to happen and what not.

seems it is working. not tested all.

so many files and downloads. it may be much more easier to install and update by one fomod file with instructions inside.

i dont know how to make fomod installer. i trought its going to be needed at some point.

 

i plan in later stages of devlopment i going to use, the moment i adding new esp file, and same time removing to other...  i feel to early to attempt make a fomod installer :(

I am super excited for this mod. 

I have ZERO luck trying to use it, I have attempted like 4x and it just CTD. 

Most probably its my fault. 

I will keep trying and following this mod though because I am hyped. 

 

IMO this is exactly the type of mod both Skyrim and FO4 need.  

 

I will be here for the duration!

i suggest first try out enabling your mod order only SlaversOfSkyrim.Esp

 

see its works for you or not. this esp alone do nothing, so you can see your setup is faulty or not.

 

then i suggest enable SLOS-SlaverBase-RegionWhiterun

see how this works for you.

 

if this to okay and you wish to use the scripted modules, i suggest enable the SLOS-script-Master.

But this time enable the papyrus logging and check out the logs.

if you spot lot of errors regarding "SLOS" pls send me the part of your log maybe i made somewhere a mistake.

 

i try rush teh mod advancment and spend more time on makign the mod instead testing :(

This mod has as dependency Toys. Does that mean that dd wont be available? Or will you make later an installer in which you than can decide if you want to use dd or Toys?

i plan add latter DD suport. Curent toy support is minimal just add some toys items to slaves and few keys to slavers.

 

i ploan add similar support to DD to. maybe deeper in scripted part not dicided yet.

i dont know how many user make use basic DD suport i discribed above if few i make it priority to add a support to DD to.

 

i dont know DD and Toys how well work each other or not work at all. i make the addon file the way that both can be used in the same time.

(I am so sorry that my English is not that good so what I say maybe seem a little offensive. Of course I do not mean that!?

This mod looks interesting and very,potential.

And I looked your development blog , it seems that you are going to add some content about player slavement and some questline? This is great.

There are already a lot of mods about this but many of them ignore one thing  that the player is dragonborn. No matter as a slaver or a slave, the content about player should take this idendity as a important thing.

For example, the player could offer the slave who they capture some diffirent training course from the simple slave. As the arch mage of winterhold,maybe the slave could get some unique magical slave training in winterhold.

And as the player is dragonborn,he or she may be a much more valueable target for those slavers. And once captured,the player may get some very special slave training and humilation. Such as be displayed in the square in the big citys with a hood on head.....and when people gather,the hood is reaveled.

These is just some advise......And I don't want to interference the mod you make.

I hope you could make a very good one!
