simsmaker_ Posted December 31, 2021 Author Posted December 31, 2021 @LadySmoks And one more question: If animations which already in kinky (like Amra72, L666, MaryJane) can I delete them from my Mods Folder?

Usually, you simply drag any new animations to the folder, when pop up asks to replace, click yes and they will automatically overwrite the old animations files. IF you had the old animations properly registered, the new files will follow the old path and be registered. Helpful hint: Your resource cfg should be big enough that you can add a folder inside of your mods folder just for KW, so everything is in one place, and not scattered around the Packages folder. I set up my resource that I also have a folder INSIDE of my KW folder to keep the animations packages. I believe that most resource cfgs can handle up to 5 or 6 sub-folders within Packages and Overrides.
landess Posted January 1, 2022 Posted January 1, 2022 5 hours ago, simsmaker_ said: this error I wanted to add I've gotten this as well. Whenever I've gone back to an older save (series) which would update the KW version upon start/load, this has appeared. I never worried about it as I check the settings (depending on the amount of update) and the addition of recent animation packages before I bother playing. Once everything is ready to go I make a new save and then quit/restart/reload and don't see this error again with that save series.

To my experience such message is caused by wrong or missing entrance in the OKW xml. Then this single animation will be disabled. Did you check the log file ? However as a example, on one of the Lucas animations I had this message too. If such message appear, pause the game, select KinkyWorld/Debug and then show info. Here you can find the entrance of the animation what caused this message. In case of this Lucas animation, it was a three actor animation and in the XML one actor definition was forgotten to input. That was all about. Basically such message will pop up only, if during the game this particular animation shall be played. Similar or the same message you will get if your OKW file call out more animations as the animation file contain or the animation file is missing or not recognized (renamed ?) KW creates usually three "KWLog_Export_xxxx.xml" files. Two on start and one after regular game quit. Open this files with an editor and see if there are error messages with hints to the animation. The bigger xml made on startup the game contain a list of the animations and the number of stages. Also here some reports can be found if something is wrong with the OKW file. Unfortunately the error above will not shown there, but in the log file created when quitting the game should contain the related info. Forgot to add to your question : "If animations which already in kinky (like Amra72, L666, MaryJane) can I delete them from my Mods Folder?" NO, of course not. Only to register those animations is predefined in KW. But KW does not contain such animations. So, leave them in your mod folder.

DarkAudit Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 Of COURSE I find the solution to an issue when I'm away from the game and hours away from returning home to fix it. I've been having this issue as well. Thanks for the insight. I'll double check both logs and installed files.
DarkAudit Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 I went back and made sure all the animation packages were as up-to-date as possible. That cleared a couple of errors. I went looking for missing props. That cleared up a couple more. BTW: I can't recall seeing the Natasha Doll referenced on the page for the animation package that actually uses it? So now I'm left with some missing stages. No gamebreakers, so it's all good.

I remember that @ghost-17a did post something on his animations page, and I thought that I referenced the page on the doll page? Natasha Doll. I'm completely shut down from working on anything right now, as my laptop with all of my work files is in repair shop again... with charging problem... again. Make good from bad! I finally got everything loaded into a laptop I had sitting for a year. Didn't like the graphics, but now was forced to find answers and learn adjustments, and I am on day 2, and like how things look. FYI, doll animations are not separate from Ghost/ Lucas's regular KW anims package, if you were looking for them as separate. You must place the doll and click on it to get options. Only solo works, as it is basically a masturbation thing. Future "hopes" are to learn how to write necessary script and JAZZ... AND add rig to, so the doll can be sort of active movement during woohoo, stored in a sexy pose in a closet or corner, or under a bed, or carried in Sim inventory, then clicked on in inventory and used, as the dildo is. Again, these are HOPES, not so much plans, as I have no clue how to do all of those things and have had a bit of mental block understanding tutorials. (((

I thought you had them in your basic package, so I thought I had just linked that page. No harm as this was the first I had heard of any issues. )))
