TheOtherDragonborn Posted December 21, 2023 Posted December 21, 2023 (edited) In the hope that I can save some people the trouble, here is a 3BA conversion of the COCO bodyslide file for the female addon (following the guide on https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/articles/5523). Assuming I didn't fuck it up, this should others from needing to repeat that tedium. Just remove the '_3BA' and overwrite the file in the CBBE bodyslide slidersets folder (or in the COCO download if you use a mod manager) and you should be good to go. *Edit: I have since discovered that I had some nonstandard form of 3BA installed which only had half the sliders. This should still work better than default CBBE compatibility wise, but you may find some disagreement if you use the sliders my version missed. While I definitely do understand this choice for Argonians, I would still prefer to be able enable/disable the hairs individually within the SOS menu. Could you possibly release a patch to add Khajit to the base addons (at the very least for consistency with the male addon)? The beast races are excluded by default and the first idea was just set it's chance to 0 to exclude them from the distribution and still let you change that in the SOS MCM. But apparently I also remove the races from the Addons after some user's complain about the hair on those races. Anyway I already fix it for the next version release. Sadly i still have problems with the new body tattoos and the release is delayed.

Alternatively, is it something I could easily change using something like Tsedit or is it more deeply buried?

Is just add the 4 missing races to all the Armor Addons and remove the Shaved Addon from all the Armors except from the Shaved Armor. 15 hours ago, TheOtherDragonborn said: Any idea how long that delay will be (weeks/months)? The time is unknown, everything is done and working except for the color on the tattoos. Just a couple of my tattoos are taking the color while the rest not even change. The scripts are fine and the problem is clearly on the textures but I can't find enough documentation.

Perfect, this worked like a charm for the female addon. Looks like the TRX addon is a little more complicated though (at least it doesn't seem to explicitly disable things in the same way). What would the similar edit be for that one?
Marauderrr Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 Hi all, I just had a question, and I may be asking this in the wrong place...maybe more of a bodyslide issue... Everything works as intended, but I use SLSO, and with belly expansion, the pubes end up inside the inflated belly. Is there a way to fix this? Can they adjust with the expansion, or did I do something wrong with bodyslide? I'm using BHUNP, and built them with the current body.

Make sure of also build the TRI file of each Pubic Hair and any other dress or armor. I think is the Morph toggle that have to be enabled before build. The belly Mods use the belly node on the skeleton or one of the belly sliders on the BodySlide. My pubic hair's already come with the belly node of the Skeleton so the problem must be the belly sliders on the BodySlide. My BodySlide are for the COCO Body and include the UNP sliders so should be compatible. Anyway check for the way used by your belly Mod to inflate the belly and check if my BodySlide include the right sliders (the slider names should match) 1
The Lonesome Spirit Posted January 10, 2024 Posted January 10, 2024 (edited) I'm having an issue in regards to the coloring aspect of this mod, SOS itself works well, however I can't change the numerical value of The RGB colors (ex. "100 100 100"). I can take away numbers, but I can't add any. It also freezes my character after attempting to change the numbers. I believe it might be MCM Helper (Maybe JContainers), or something to do with the unfortunate update Bethesda gifted us with. Has anyone had this issue and been able to solve it? EDIT: For all I know, it's not a problem having exclusively with this mod, but its the only one I have where you manually type in numbers, most are number sliders. The hair does not seem to be appearing on the Leito addon for me. In looking closer I see you have "SOS - Pubic Hair for Smurf Average Addon.seq" etc. files for the other 3 addons, but not for the Leito. Might that be the issue, or are those just to get the hair color to work right? In either case, isn't an "SOS - Pubic Hair for Leito Addon.seq" file needed too? Thanks for any pointers. I don't think the SEQ file be a hard requirement for the Addons. At least is working on my game and I also don't have the SEQ file. Make sure of have the plugin installed and enabled on the plugin's load list and select the "Pubic Hair Natural Wild for Leito". Try the Restart SOS option on the General Settings page of the SOS MCM if you don't see the "Pubic Hair Natural Wild for Leito" on the Addons list. The pubic hair meshes for Leito should be on a Leito folder somewhere inside Meshes. If you are using Vortex, you should know that is well know by remove files without reason. 1
sekuzeku Posted February 15, 2024 Posted February 15, 2024 something that's been bothering me forever is the hair reflects light depending on camera angle like it's reflective armor, and i can't find a fix. Spoiler no ENB: ENB: different angle: the last picture is the most correct but you can still see reflections, i just want it to be matte.

Hide contents no ENB: ENB: different angle: the last picture is the most correct but you can still see reflections, i just want it to be matte. You, me and everyone else... I'm being working on that with some minor improvements but happen that the way the pubic hair's are made is different from the rest of the hairs. Most of the hairs on Skyrim are big plain objects that looks like many hairs but in fact are usually just one or a few solid layers that looks like many. Instead the pubic hair's are really more than 100 small objects like real hair. The problem with that is that the usual effects of the usual Skyrim hairs have a higher impact on the pubic hair's and at the same time remove those effects can leave you with a cartoon hair. By the way the first picture is probably the nearest to how should look while the last one I the effect of the shadows. The effects affecting the second and third picture can be controlled or removed with the NifSkope. Let me know if you find a better combination of values for the "BSLightingShaderProperty" of the Pubic on the NIF files still using the ENB. A haven't tested all the possibilities but be warned, edit some of those values will break the tint function. 1

The most important is not lose the color. By other side always remember that the color applied is the one defined on the HairColor property of the actor. That HairColor property by default have a very limited list of colors to choose, same you can see on the RaceMenu. And the Mod authors usually set customized colors on the pre-build faces of they custom NPC's letting a very different color on the HairColor property and some not even set the HairColor property in which case my scripts use the black #222222 as default. The BETA version already let you set a custom DefaultHairColor for those cases were the NPC's don't have a HairColor property defined.
Frik88 Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 The pubic hair is perfect, just one problem----how can I use it with cum texture like SLACS? The pubic hair took the place of vagina so I can't apply cum texture on vagina area.

The pubic hair took the place of vagina so I can't apply cum texture on vagina area. The cum usually go over the skin and still will be there. Mods like "SL Cumshots" can also apply cum over the objects and armors so it can do it on the public hair's to. Of course, you better don't expect too much about the cum over the pubic meshes because the pubic hair's meshes are not like the rest of the vanilla hair meshes. The usual hair meshes are just one object with all the hair painted, while the pubic hair meshes always being a lot of independent object in for of hair. Apply the cum overly over the pubic hair's will probably look odd. By other side the new 2D System on the BETA is also a overly like the one's used by the SLACS and of course is also applied over the body so I recommend enable on the INI file of the RaceMenu at least 5 overly slots for the body so you can have enough room for both Mods.

Okay, I haven't figured out what the problem is yet, maybe some kind of conflict for me, but here's what I noticed (just for info) - SOS Faction = `SOS Pubic Hair Paw`, but equipped armor is `SOS_Addon_PHFVSS_Genitals` (and no matter what I did, I couldn't change the `Armor`. The faction is changing, and armor has always returned to PHFVSS/VerySmallStrip for follower, after change location) - looks i am able fix it by remove SOS from console, and looks now follower always have Paw (as expected) maybe you shouldn't pay attention to this if I'm the only one with the problem, but I'll keep watching

In theory if you have both factions the system probably won't be able to handle both. With my tweaked SOS you have to Reset the SOS at least one time after install or remove my tweak. If you didn't did that better save the configuration, Reset the SOS with it's MCM option and load the configuration at the end. After the reset, my current version of SOS should be able to handle by itself the changes on the DLL file but is still recommended to export the configuration before remove or add the DLL file and import it after that. Those are the things I can think now, at least until check it. By the way you said Paw so you are using my BETA in which case you should use the Reset SOS option after install it because that version is ESL and the previous one was ESP so even if you convert it the previous one to ESL still there is a big chance of get different FormID's, what can cause your issue. My recommendation was load and save the game without the previous version of the Female Addon and then install the new version. Edited March 13, 2024 by OsmelMC

By the way, looks problem only with follower. moreover, after installing the beta version, when I tested - everything was fine, and only yesterday found that something wrong, and nothing is clear yet, but in general it is not critical (and it will need to be checked on a new save) thanks )
