If you still hear the sounds from the animation playing in the background, I'd try opening the AAF wizard with HOME and hitting END to force the scene to stop. theres no animation playing and there arent any sounds after i finish the quest and return to anastasia at all though, just the dialogue prompts which appear every 30 seconds while i just run around before getting softlocked by the black out prompt

It should be compatible as far as I know. The only reference to the vanilla story is one line that calls the player "vault dweller". 3 hours ago, himynamajeff said: theres no animation playing and there arent any sounds after i finish the quest and return to anastasia at all though, just the dialogue prompts which appear every 30 seconds while i just run around before getting softlocked by the black out prompt I would double check that your AAF install is clean. If the prompts are appearing without the animation starting, something is messed up.

DrSeptimus Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 (edited) Where do I need to go complete Enlightenment quest? The map doesn't show the exact location. Last thing I remember is that she tell me to head to the south for it, found nothing that let me complete it yet soo far. Between, does it even work with AAF Violate surrender option? If not, could you check the AAF 'Admin' window in the AAF wizard after the "you feel an urge" prompt pops up during Enlightenment? If any errors show up there, it could help track down the issue.

Not sure how this would've happened, maybe too many background scripts? Tested again without sim settelments but that was not the issue. I did find what caused the issue: When testing after updating AAF and AAF themes i prematurely ended the animation to speed up testing not realising that the script refers to the running animation to change stages (this caused the papyrus errors as there was no running animation at that point). Tried again and let the animation run and everything works as it should now. 2

I'll add some extra checks to the Enlightenment script so that it'll be a bit more resilient against unexpected situations like that in the future.

During the "Return to Anastasia" step, there aren't any branching dialogue paths, it just leads into the next quest. asdfer1234 Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 (edited) ... How long should the animations be going on for?? Anyway to add a limit on their duration?... Cuz I feel like she's been watching fingering myself for on about 5 minutes now... And exiting the animation via AAF console seems to break the dialogue chain. P.S. Adultman Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 in the scene where, at the direction of the atom, the pc takes off his clothes, it would be logical to make Anastasia forbid her to dress for, say, a day. Well, or stupidly would have selected. Sorry for my English)

Sorry for my English) That option has been discussed, but it was decided that making the player have to be utterly defenceless for 24 in game hours would be far too disruptive to gameplay. That would force the player to head to a bed or chair to wait it off before they could get back to playing the game.

(There's a rare F4 bug where if you have a bunch of mods, the game will just randomly delete a large part of your save data and essentially corrupt everything. Can read more about it on this page: Canary Save File Monitor)
