The Mod looks nice, and I commemorate you for your efforts. However is UAF an absolute requirement? or can i just skirt around it with AAF, and other basic animations frameworks?

Is that based on some other animation or are you creating yours from scratch? Do you have plans to incorporate other actors aside from Ivy and the angler?

It's not a hard requirement. The mod will work with just AAF + AAF Themes + the appropriate animation packs.

From scratch. I do plan to do animations with other actors, but I'm lacking on ideas.

Unless you're not open to it, you can list which you're interested in and get ideas from the community here.

 

For example, the character could find themself with barnacles being attached to their head, draining their will and making them more pliant and susceptible to Atom's will. Or, if you're not opposed to further dependencies, you could use something like Not- Eyebots as the roaming eye of Atom (or so says the cult). Another idea is something like Skyrim's All-Maker Stones except with an altar to Atom (a giant fatboy bomb? A mother statue?) where it overrides the will of any who touch it. It could be surrounded by cult members worshipping it (prayer idle) or fucking each other while staring at it (doggy style is probably best for that), and the player touching it would force them (and maybe their companions) to join them. You could take a note from Fear & Hunger and have the first time rejuvenate the player (boost their stats temporarily) to trick them into thinking it's a good thing, but each successive time runs some kind of risk (stuck forever game over?).

I don't know what the restrictions on animation are, though, so I don't know what's possible or overly difficult to implement. The last one is probably easiest to do.

I really enjoyed the eye color change etc with Ana's hypno. I hope similar effects show up in the other situations.

Those are some really good ideas. I'd like to keep things somewhat tethered to the story (for example - the Angler animation is for a quest that involves making an offering to Atom). However, the plan is to have the story eventually lead to Far Harbor (2-3 updates down the line), so the barnacles and "Not-Eyebots" could make an appearance there.

Hey there! I just wanted to say thanks a ton for the mod, I love hypnosis mods like this. Also, do you have any plans on making something similar for Skyrim SE/AE?  I haven't really seen anything that hypnotizes the player like yours does. Just a suggestion, but I, and I'm sure others would love to see that. And again, thanks.

Permanent de-leveling should be relegated to an MCM option, if at all. It's a solid role playing option, but plenty of players do not want that level of RP. And I'm sure Snapdragon does not want players removing their mod for one element of it. Though, ultimately, it's their mod, and they're making it for them.

For what's currently in the mod, Sexual Harrassment also hypnotizes the player just as much (and a bit more). If you're interested, I have an edited version of the mod (personal changes) where different options are more mind control intensive and less silly (mostly the hypno path, fan path, and rad infection doctor path). It relies on rad mutations (like charm quirks and pheromones and also relying more heavily on the bimboism) instead of just "hypnotherapy".

Don't worry, it's not. I knew when adding this mechanic that it wouldn't be for everyone, so there will be plenty of choice in how to go about it.

 

In MCM, there will be an option with 3 possible values:

Story Only - Everything plays out as normal, but no points are removed/added.

Default - The points are removed, but can be gained back through Anastasia.

Hard Mode - The points are removed, and can only be gained back through normal methods (such as levelling your character).

Great mod! Having the voice actor added so much! (wish she was still available) Even in it's infancy I can see this mod either expanded with quests or linked to quests.

 

Ideas: Devious Device Hypnosis ("Put this on my pet. It will please Atom."), Face Tattoo Hypnosis ("You have earned this. Atom is pleased."), Clothing/Naked Hypnosis ("Put this on/Take off all your clothes..."), Radiation Training Hypnosis ("Drink this irradiated blood. Your body must drink in the glow.")

 

Again great mod! Anxiously awaiting developments.

Quick status update. The next version of the mod (v1.1) is feature complete and currently in the testing & polish phase. The VA most likely won't be available until after the holiday season, so I've set up an impromptu poll:

 

Would you rather the update be released as soon as it's ready, or wait until the voice acting is added? (strawpoll)

Anyone who wants to wait until VA is added still has the option to do so even if released, but those who want it without VA don't have a choice if you choose to wait. So releasing it now is a win-win, really, whereas waiting is win-lose. The only reason I can think of to wait is if you yourself only want to present it with VA added.

 

Let me know if you would like some help testing. I would be glad to volunteer.

When playing as a male PC, seems Anaastasia is always in the Giver position. Not sure why, but with every other AAF scene from other mods (MGCA, AAF Violate, SEUP etc.) my PC is correctly the Giver. Is this by design, or is there something I have to change so Anastasia is receiver and not giver?
