belegost Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 There are about a dozen or more pose mods and since I have never used any of them, I have no idea which one to choose. I am not keen on installing and testing every single one of them, so I would like to choose one. What I would like is something relatively lightweight, with no weird requirements (SKSE, FNIS, SkyUI, XP32, Address Library and the like are a given, but anything more obscure than that) and something that has a nice selection of primarily erotic poses and devoid of "anime" elements if at all possible. I'm not into that stuff at all. Which would you recommend?
FauxFurry Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 I would probably recommend GunSlicer's pose mod since it fits the criteria given. As a plus, it works for a wider variety of genders than the usual pose mod. https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/8148-gsposes-slal/
Vyxenne Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 I tried so hard to get GS poses to work for me- the problem was that, after activating the one I especially wanted (Pole Dance) once, I was not able to activate it again the next day, nor to activate any poses beyond the first seven or so, and the only response I received to my questions about it on the GS Poser page here on LL seemed to be facetious, if not downright smack-talking- the response was at best nonsensical and impossible to implement given the information available to me. So just letting you know that while the GS Poses are of incomparably high quality, the packaging/labeling/user implementation scheme is not. It's not as simple as "I want to see Pose #156, which has been described *somewhere* as "leans against wall with one hand on hip." There are no descriptions at all other than alphanumeric (e.g. "W29" or similar- it's been at least 2 years), and the numbers and letters don't seem to relate to anything, except to show the line of demarcation between the first few poses I can select and the (probably hundreds of) poses I can't select. Once I was able to determine that pose selection involves the complex, unintuitive process of manipulating letters and numbers within some inscrutable series of poorly-labeled alphanumeric menus in accordance with an unspecified scheme that I was not able to discover, or get any help with, I sadly uninstalled the mod. FULL DISCLOSURE: It is entirely possible that the user interface and labeling of GS Poses has been overhauled in the 2-3 years since I tried to use it, and is now a model of logic, clarity and user-friendliness. However, the stunningly unhelpful response to my request for help left a really bad taste in my mouth (shut UP, @Grey Cloud).
