Guest endgameaddiction Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Yes. I've seen my handful of bans of people doing this.
Guest Omega1084 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Can't say I blame them.I never understood the mentality behind cheating. It ruins the fun of games for you and if it's multiplayer it also ruins it for everyone else. Regardless, I'm sure the Nexus is just adding support for ESO so they have more people come in and click click click.
gvman3670 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Tried to download a 213kb file. This is what I got. Fucking Nexus.jpg 213kb. That takes less than 3 seconds with my internet connection...and the Nexus servers can't deal with it. 213kb? Jeez, I'd have that downloaded before I could choose the spot where I wanted to save it. That's about pathetic, isn't it? I thought this nonsense was all fixed?
Guest Omega1084 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I thought this nonsense was all fixed? Please, allow me to respond as such: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! K, I'm done. << >>
gvman3670 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Just thought I'd mention that when I clicked a link from here to Nexus, Microsoft Security Essentials threw up a message asking me if I wanted to have the site analyzed as it may be malicious! It happened once a while back, too. And this isn't the only time I've heard of Nexus being flagged by some security software or another.
Kendo 2 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 They probably got hacked again. But I don't need software to tell me Nexus is malicious.
gvman3670 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 They probably got hacked again. But I don't need software to tell me Nexus is malicious. LOL! I did submit the link to MS for them to analyze it. They'll probably find out it IS malicious. Especially if they anal-lyze ol' Dorkie or Dante.
gvman3670 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Can someone explain this? From here. timewarp.jpg LMAO! I'm kinda' old (for a gamer) and I wasn't quite a gleam in my daddy's eye yet at that point.
Guest Omega1084 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Can someone explain this? From here. timewarp.jpg Did he fuck up the quote on purpose? o-O
gvman3670 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 No. He didn't fuck it up purpose. We've actually found the problem with Nexus. It's run on servers made in 1970.
psammeticus Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 So they really are potatoes, really, really old potatoes...
Guest Omega1084 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 So they really are potatoes, really, really old potatoes... Wrong wrong wrong! They're run on 40 year old Lays leftovers from one of their chip factories. Fun fact: Frito-Lay was established in 1961!
Kendo 2 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Did he fuck up the quote on purpose? o-O Arrogant in his stupidity. I think he meant for it to come across the way it did. He doesn't care, since he can ban or hide the posts of anyone who calls him on it. Pretty much why people think the Nexus staff is a pack of power-tripping dumbasses.
Guest Omega1084 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Huh, gotta love Don'te sticking his tongue so far D0rky's ass that it comes up the idiot's nose.
ToxicKetchup Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Tried to download a 213kb file. This is what I got. Fucking Nexus.jpg 213kb. That takes less than 3 seconds with my internet connection...and the Nexus servers can't deal with it. I keep getting a whole slew of "file not found" messages. And of course, the numerous tcp network errors. It's pretty ridiculous.
Smokermegadrive Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 another page to leech broadband for presumably a game that will be unmoddeable also this game released just yesterdayhttp://www.nexusmods.com/southparkthestickoftruth/?
Rayblue Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 another page to leech broadband for presumably a game that will be unmoddeable also this game released just yesterday http://www.nexusmods.com/southparkthestickoftruth/? Has to be the dumbest idea to waste resources and bandwidth.
Guest Omega1084 Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 That's pretty amazing. I think he's just going around Google looking at popular[?] games and adding them to his roster so more people will visit Nexus now. He's not even bothering with anything else.
myuhinny Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I'm surprised he hasn't added my little pony to his game list yet.
gvman3670 Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I'm surprised he hasn't added my little pony to his game list yet. It would be redundant. Half the people on the Nexus are already Bronies!
Smokermegadrive Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Also they are failing to catch the user attention to other games aside from elder scrolls and fallout serieseven with minecraft (only 22 mods) and warcraft 3 (barely 3 mods) they can't have a good quantity of mods or users supporting their sites
Guest Omega1084 Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Wow, only 22 mods in the Minecraft section? I think Minecraft players are just smart enough to avoid Nexus by default. There's gotta be hundreds if not thousands of Minecraft mods out there and D0rky ain't gettin' any.
Rayblue Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 ^ The mod site that has it first is the one that'll be visited more often than Nex. ------------------ As expected, he picks another game that can't be modded easily. Hated game of the year.
