I deleted all files of the previcious 2.11 version. I installed the new version and I can't start the game with out the oldversion's bsa, bsl and esp files.

And when I start the game with the new version's files activated and the old's disabled, 2 private needs menu appear in the MCM.

EDIT: I disabled the outhouse.esp file, problems solved.

EDIT: I don't know if its already reported, but my character remains immaculatly clean, and I wish to see those dirty visual effects mentioned in the update note.

The .bsa has a folder named sounds rather than Sound, I think this may be the reason there are no fart sounds.

Nope, that's another thing that I overlooked. I'll reupload again in a few moments. Just reuploaded with the sound directory fixed.

Same issue here no effects are shown, plus when I use the check status hot key nothing shows up.

I have the problem with the new build I get status messages but I have no way to release my bladder/bowls the hotkeys are not working and I also dont have a spell in my book If someone could provide a solution it would be highly appreciated.

For the hotkey problem. Try unchecking then checking the activate option in the mcm menu. If that still doesn't work try typing in the console startquest PNHotkeyQuest.

Hey, could some1 help me out? I tried stopquest startquest, i loaded and saved a 100 times and I still couldn't manage to get the menu to show.
I installed it via mod manager is that the problem? Some1 was talking about loose files but I have no idea as to how to find out which files are lose.

I assume you meant you tried it with start/stopquest "privateneedsmcmconfigquest" ? Thats how it worked for me at least. I have installed it with NMM

The Private Needs hotkey works but the Check Private Needs doesn't

I never get dirty reguardless of how long I wait or the settings in MCM

There is no spell or hot key to bathe so probably just as well I don't get dirty

Puppet Master is not this mod so how is that relevant, Using an ingame dialogue to ask/order the NPC/Slave is nothing like forcing the issue with puppet master, I do not like it's methods at all, much better to do things in game as far as I'm concerned.

A matter of choice I know but I prefer both available than assume one negates the need for the other.

I think I fixed the hygiene, but since I could determine why it wasn't working before. I can't say that it definitely is fixed. However, I want to hold off releasing it just yet because I want to add a few more things.

I'm using Private Needs 2.1.1 it works well. But somehow in my game, the poop option no longer work. My PC can take a bath and piss but the bowel is always empty. So I no longer can't have poop.

 

I tried to disable the poop option and re-enable it but it still doesn't work. Do you have any idea how to solve this problem?
And one more thing, how do I upgrade to version 3 Alpha? Do I need to remove the mod, clear any script with script removing tool, and reinstall ver. 3?

 

Do I need to do that or wait till it's better? Please add the Installation tutorial at front page, especially regarding to upgrading to ver. 3 Alpha.

However, the alpha should mess up your game or anything in theory. And yes you do need to complete uninstall 2.11 and do a clean save or preferably a new game. For the bowels in 2.11 you need to manually adjust the rate in which your bowels fill in the MCM menu. I've left the default as 0 for a reason that I can't quite remember now.

I do have all the other requirements. did have version 2.11 but I have uninstalled it a while back 'cus somehow it messed the moving speed of the player. It got stuck at 80%.. 

anyway did run in another problem as well, I tried to install another mod, completely unrelated to private needs (Animal Sex for sexlab) and got exactly the same problem. (game crashes when the main menu is about to open).. So I think there is something else the messes up the whole thing.

load your game into tes5edit (just hit OK when the dialog box with your mod list pops up). It will fail, and the message tab in the main window will tell you whats missing.

If you crash at main menu that is a dependency issue, not the mod. You installed something that has a missing requirement that the installed mod relies on.

10 out of 10 times if i crashed on the menu It was because I installed something that needed an other mod, or I uninstalled a mad that was the requirement of an other.

I know this is a dependancy issue. What is puzzling me is that now it works. !

and tes5 comes up with this error:

Ok solved it.

 

Private needs - Sexlab is looking for PrivateNeeds.esp but 03Alpha is called PrivateNeedsNew.esp

So is the file for sexlab not needed anymore with v3 or do you need to rename the file?

I'd guess that the sexlab plugin still needs updating and Richard isn't going to do that until he has gotten out of alpha. The one I miss is tbucket.
