I've updated Private Needs but i dont get the menu anymore in mcm. I see the option but when i click on it i see nothing, it is blank. Back to the older version.

Besides that: My kittie still can't bath. Beta5 didn't help at this.

Bathing my nord char works just fine. Just my kittie refuses. i would take a look at the scripts my self, but i can't due to <insert_wonky_excuse_here>.

@Richard: i traced thru the scripts, with an weird result:
The magic effect only triggers for BathWaterfallScript.psc. Does ofc nothing, due to PNWaterfallList.
BathScript.psc is not firing up at all. BathSwimmingScript triggers as intended.

i'm using PureWaters. Will try again w/o this mod.

 

 

Edit: it's PureWaters fault. -.-
Mind to add an MCM option for PureWaters, that runs a copy of the BathWaterfallScript, just w/o the formlist that checks if the player is actually close to a waterfall? Maybe add a completly different bath power, when PureWaters is toggled, that only covers swimming and bathing?

i mean, the bathing animation is the same, so it won't look weird.

 

i attached the edited and recompiled BathWaterfallScript, for other PureWater users.
it's a rather dirty solution, as i just commented out initializing the formlist and the condition for waterfalls.

But it works nontheless, as a simple solution, until richards takes care of this problem.

Simply extract into your data folder and overwrite the PSC and PEX file, when prompted.

i don't know how SKSE determins what language to use. The system or the game, but if it's the game, it needs to be set to polish, to work.

I could be wrong, but to use "Notepad" to do the translation and then save as.

If the translated document as text does not work, use "Notepad".

I could be wrong, but to use "Notepad" to do the translation and then save as.

If the translated document as text does not work, use "Notepad".

@Cyberiada: Check if the MCM file name, matches the mods flename. Richard tended to add and remove the space in the mods filename. if you got an old version of PN running, the filename is "Private Needs" and in beta5 it's "PrivateNeeds" again. As your MCM file already matches the new name of PNs plugin file, i guess you're using an older version or added the space in the filename of the plugin yourself.

 

The filenames of the ESP, BSA, MCM translations and (if available) StringFiles must match.

 

it's my last guess, as everything else seems to be ok.

 

 

P.s.: Remove the obsolete MCM translations (SexLab, HDT, CME) from your PN installation. in the BSA (beta5) they are still present, so i recommend deleting the whole interface folder from the BSA and let the mod only use the loose files. The loose files from beta5 only cover PN.

He made a bigger problem in the MCM is still in Private Needs spaces and EMPTY

This image shows a catalog of translations - what files do I remove it?

 

Not removed any and yet I empty the MCM - Surely I do not have this file installed by a space and he sees it.

And my character leaking lolz cause i can't find any toilet on the map, I installed the Strotis Outdoor Toilet Resource mod as well. How do i find the toilets, my plater tells me a couple of time that she can't take it anymore and leaks...lolz

Power? You mean the activate option in the private needs menu? If yes then i activated it and unchecked the privacy option, checked the soap option, no soap either when i use the playidle command for bath animation. When i exited the menu, msg appeard on top left for activation but after that nothing happens. If there's a spell then i have non in my spells list, the only spell i have the " check private needs " which i got by the player.addspell command. 

About the leaking part, the " Wet yourself " option is unchecked. Both urinate and defecate options are checked...

I have a water mod but i don't know which one, i will see my plugin list to confirm, and what if i have the this purewaters or W.A.T.E.R installed?

Needs some scrolling in the MCM options of PN, to see these setup options. Very handy, if you don't want to switch powers, just to take a crap in the woods.

 

Soap doesn't seem to be integrated yet. The bathing script should add one, but doesn't. i added all 3 using the console, but didn't try them yet.

in case of W.A.T.E.R.: i could take a look into it, after you confirmed, that deactivating W.A.T.E.R. solved the bathing problem.
But remember: Whatever fix i may come up with for W.A.T.E.R. (if one is needed), is nothing compared to a solution made by richard.

Soaps are very much in game. If you have any in your inventory, it should prompt you to use a soap before the bathing animationg starts. As far as I can tell, each normal and spriggan soap appears to have unique effects, bathing without a soap causes your toon to be clean, but the debuf will remain. This takes in effect if you have the soap toggled in hygienes.

I just checked and i have a water.esp activated in the plugins, Now gonna load the game and check these option you told

 

edited: It amazing that i got in to the private needs menu many times and didn't notice the scroll bar, also got the bath spell but when i use it nothing happens, just my compass at the top middle disappears for a sec and comes back.

When I upgraded to beta 5 I thought it would be ok to over write the files however the private needs.es was change to privateneeds.esp which totally fubared my save game lol... so hrrm should I install the old private needs.esp and files in order to uninstall that mod entirely then re install?  I can no longer load my save game due to this issue. any advice would be appreciated... THANKS!

Uploaded Beta6. Only changed one thing which was the urinating and defecating menu added in Beta5. How it should work now is when you cast the spell or use the hotkey, the menu should show one or two option based on how full your bladder and bowels are. if both are full enough then you'll see both options, Urinate and Defecate, but you can choose to only relieve your bladder or both. If you relieve your bowels you will always relieve your bladder too. If only relieve your bladder, you can relieve your bowels later, but you'll also relieve your bladder later when you defecate regardless of how full your bladder is.

Always see them, never use them. i don't use any mod, that adds hunger or thirst, so the only thing i use, are fires, to cook meat that i'm about to sale.

Got to check this out.

But in the meantime, i tried the soaps and my toon was finally completly cleaned. Yay!

i just wonder, what the added +10 clean bonus is. i guess it's speechcraft or something else, that affects my buying and saling prices, but can't be sure.
