i guess, you uninstalled the old version, while at least one of it's effects where active.

I've been playing this mod a lot, it's really well done so far.

 

One thing I thought was missing is that apart from the text at the top there's nothing really showing the character needing to go. My request would be to add some animations, grabbing the crotch, etc, for these parts, especially on the "level 5".

 

It would also be great if the NPCs had the same needs/bladder meter, but my guess would be that would be a very difficult thing to incorporate.

 

Any watersports stuff would be a good add, but of course I don't expect it if its not your thing - mayhaps someone else could adapt that?

At high need to go the player or NPC should switch to a potty-dance idle.

 

 

When I got to a high need I didn't see the idle. Though in my eyes I believe they should have idles that progress as it goes up.

 

Also the bladder should be affected by drinking.

here's my number2 overhaul plugin. It adds excrements coming out from the character's bottom and falling to the ground. These excrements are actually ingredients, with the same values as nightshade. Besides, I made standing defecating animations available for females, because I like them.

Last, I changed some values, in order to (try and) make the simultaneous defecation-urination more likely to happen (because I like it).

 

@everyone: this mod requires CBBE and XP32/XPMS skeleton. If you use it with a skeleton lacking the skirt02 node, the mod will not work. If you use it with a non-CBBE body, odd visual effects can happen (but nothing major, I think).

The mod requires the original Private needs 2 BETA4 to be installed first (obviously).

 

@richard19840706: just give a look at my scripts and see if you like them. I would be pleased if you will merge them with your next version.

I'd ask as well, if you can give the option to disable the default poop mesh as well (the one that cannot be picked up), that way, we can pick up our own poop (I had a hard time typing that) and that can be a temporary but effective remedy for that perma poop issue.

Sounds great I'm going to have a look at this now. I'm working on a new version of my NPC mod this weekend and hopefully I'll be able to include some of these features.

I've solved the perma poop issue in my current test version that I'm using, but since pamfolette did his magnificent work, I guess my solution won't be needed. I'll disable the default static unmovable poop in the next version.

It's all in my list sort of. I do plan to integrate this with Realistic Needs and Diseases which will have the bladder and bowels be affected by drinking and eating. I plan to have this done within the end of August.  As for the idles, it is planned, but I'm having trouble devising a way to do this since I can't replace the player idle with scripts or figuring out some other way to apply the idles when the player is standing still.

Let me just say that all who have worked on this mod are truly gods among men.

 

I saw a video for a realism mod that had alcohol poisoning the guy would fall over after moving around, I assume that was some kind of animation trigger, does that have anything to do with the approach you're trying to take? I'm not really sure how Skyrim mods/scripts work - I'm more of a coding person, not looked at Skyrim modding before.

 

I also remember you saying you were thinking about including toilet paper, would that add an animation? It could be a way to get a few hygiene points up.

I can report it seems to work flawlessly using UNP BBP and xp32 skeleton with SOS patch.

 

About the drunk animations, maybe you talking about this?

 

Realistic needs have that effect, and i think Imps adds it too.

I was looking forward to trying this but I'm getting 100% CTD's on my main important save after installing the XP32 skeleton and I can't figure out why :(

 

I was using "The skeleton of female models by Ning" before as recommended in the ZAZ animation installation instructions.

 

Although actually it does seem to work just fine with the Perfect 3-2 skeleton.

Here are some ideas just to throw them out. Whether anyone wants to do them or if they are possible or not doesn't matter:

 

-NPCs should react to the acts. Urination or defecation around them should be treated with shock/disgust. If guards see it they should be fined for public urination/indecency. Wetting oneself should provoke laughter and or ridicule.

 

-The wetting due to not being able to hold it should stop the player from moving, and switch the idle to an appropriate stance, maybe change the facial expression to shock.

 

-Stained clothing (this one doesn't sound feasible, but worth mentioning)

 

-Maybe not being able to hold excrement?

 

-As mentioned before, desperation animations should play as the bladder increases.

 

-Food and drink should affect the meters (mentioned before)

 

-Add separate commands for urination and defecation. Keep the one for both. This is because the animation for urination is overridden by the animation for defecation, maybe the character wants to quickly relieve the bladder before finding a proper place to relieve the bowels?

 

-Toilet paper and wiping to increase hygiene (mentioned before).

I hate to ask this in case a clear answer was given before, but I did a quick browse to see what was posted before and did not see a clear answer to my question. Of course I may have missed it but here goes.

 

I just want to make sure if the only thing that happens during bursting is audio. There is no sound or visual effect correct? You are able to move around as normal with the audio playing during so.

 

And when leaking there is no visual effect as well right?

 

Thanks for any response, Just want to make sure the mod is working as intended. As I saw people mention such things I didn't know if they were suppose to happen or if they were just being discussed.

Yes you can move around while the burst event is occurring. There is a leaking effect in wip. I haven't tweaked the percentage chance to actually leak perfectly yet, but I have seen the leak effect in my current build. it chances of it happening seem to be quite rare though.

I'm changing the schedule a bit. I am going to integrate this with RND in the next few days since it been long over due and a few tests I did worked out ok. It will hopefully be out on Monday night. Afterwards, I'll add a menu when urinating or defecating to allow the player to chose whether to only urinate or do both.

I'm perfectly able to turn on hygiene back on and off, but urination and defacation are not as easy.

 

They are permanently interconnected, and if I click "Deactivate Private Needs", I'm not able to turn them on at all.

But for some reason, they still work, despite being deactivated. The only thing that doesn't working after pressing the aforementioned button is the hotkeys.

 

In fact, I've actually had to uninstall and reinstall the mod in order to get them working the way the were supposed to.

 

This is after using a proper clean save, and after using Skyrim Save Cleaner from the Nexus site.

 

Can't it go back to the way it was before? With toggles... and all that jazz.. :'(

I've been working on my NPC Private Needs mod (which I hope to post soon) and I had a random thought. I found that it's actually quite simple to detect if another mod is installed. I had to add a check to make sure NPCs weren't in the SexLabAnimating faction when picking NPCs to pee for example, but didn't want SexLab to be a requirement.

 

Anyway I thought you could maybe add a SexLab hook so constipation increases if you have anal sex with full bowels due to compacting. :)

The permanent poop issue can easily be solved (I suggest either to delete the static poop from the script, or to turn it into an ingredient- I would prefer the latter). Right now I cannot work on the scripts,since I am on holiday and I don't have skyrim with me :-( , but surely Richard is going to fix it soon.

That is a shame :( and very disappointing.

 

I'll change it back to toggles then, but I'll still restrict defecation, so that you need to have urination activated before you activate defecation.

Hey, can anyone tell me please which mod i need to make my charakter look like this? I'm a bit new here so i don't know everything ;)

 

That is my mashup race built from Trykz's Moonshadow elf race. Though, by now it has barely anything that remains from the original file. I can recreate the race mod and upload it so that it doesn't include any of the original moonshadow assests if people want it. It does use ECE and might be a little complicated during installation, but I'll provide a walkthrough.
