I used tcl and still couldn't find them lol. Is there a discord? Maybe in a future update NIRA could give hints to the locations.

The reason I BELIEVE people don't ask me this much is because I left the quest (_NR_Nira) in the setstages guide. I was tempted to delete it, but I said, what the heck. You can skip the whole quest by typing in the setstage and get your reward. Check out the guide. I don't remember if it's "setstage _NR_Nira 200" or something like that.

But... Except for the one you mentioned, I really don't think I've made any effort to hide them.

Hi again. I'm wondering what could be causing Nukaride to come up as a virus in windows defender when I install the mod in M02?

Also Wyre bash is saying

    > Nuka Ride World Patch.esp:  86 deleted navmeshes
    > Nuka Ride.esp:  90 deleted navmeshes

I'm trying to trouble shoot why my game keeps crashing and Nukaride .esp comes up allot.

Uff, good luck.  What you should do is call Valve, they should donate the hardware & money to the development teams -- it's not the other way around that they should go purchase it and support it.  It literally costs them next to nothing to do this.

In any case, try the MO2 Discord (see https://www.modorganizer.org/ for the link, there is a fellow there kencv that plays on Kubuntu, he is probably the closest one to help on a Linux-based device -- not sure if he has experience with Steam Deck but I have seen people on Steam Deck there installing MO2 and he was helping.

As for the latest crash log, this is different.  You have PRP installed, that's usually a problem with NR, but I don't even see NR in this crash log (so it should be fine).  ArmorKeywords.esm is pretty out of favor, btw.  This seems to be crashing somewhere in rendering since you see mesh node references on the stack.  Might be worthwhile to run this this CLAS that I mentioned earlier.  On NG (1.10.984.0) below is the minimal base mod list I would use to build NR on (you shouldn't need Weapon Debris Crash Fix since your on an AMD GPU), this as a base has been stable for me on Windows (providing this just in case it's one of these fix mods).  Beyond this I would disable mods until you get a stable game, then start adding things back in until you identify the problematic mod.

Right now there is no such thing. I still have to implement it. I have been thinking that it can be an orgy.

But there is no room big enough for that. So I don't know, ideas are welcome xD

If you want to keep with the generally playful tone of the mod, I'd do something along the Holden Caulfield spectrum.  Maybe have the guy introduce the topic in a way that makes it sound super creepy and kinky, make him demand you wear an outfit that looks somewhere between secretary and naughty schoolgirl, then do a long therapy session, and you keep the sexy therapist outfit as an added bonus.  Dated enough dancers to know half of what men pay for is someone to talk to.

Hi there,
I have a fresh install with Gog Version 163. I installed every required and recommended mod and I'm sure also the mods that are required by these mods.

I started as Norita and the the clothes of Sophie and also me are invisible (I am able to see through her and me).

Do you have any advice what I missed or what to do?

I'm using MO2, if that's important.

Thx

My Doc Crocker is, like almost all NPCs, a clone, so the Doc Crocker in Diamond City can die, but it won't affect the one in Nuka World. The same goes for Kellogg and the Nuka Club guests. The ones you should avoid killing are the mayor and Sullivan, the elder, Shaun.

I'm working on Commonwealth Slavers and recently managed to summon the entire Brotherhood of Steel without having to do the story (without having to kill Kellogg). This opens up an opportunity to make it so Norita can win the story without having to kill Kellogg, to create her own path.

Imagine her on the rooftop of some building watching the Prydwen advance. Her sister is all excited, and Norita is swearing. The sister probably spends her time in the Prydwen, sitting near Maxson and having random dialogues with the Elder. By the way, I was also able to build and get Liberty Prime up and running, via scripts. I love the idea of Norita contributing to its construction, but in a Nuka Ride style, something that doesn't involve shooting.

But working on that part of the project (modifying the vanilla story) is something planned for the end.

Another request, though this may not be minor.    Can the fluid cleaning kit be added to the NR items so that I can build one in the vanilla settlements.   As my Norita has "finished' NR, she takes a SPECIAL hit for not having enough sex, but with the overlays, her makeup is always ruined.    I have to cheat back to NR just to clean up.   I tried buildin gthe make up kit, but that didn't do anything other than sit on the place next to the nail polish.

Can we remove the quest tag on some of the clothes?

There is a pro and con to this.   First, sometimes you have to have a certain type of clothes to do some of repeatable missions.  The vanilla game does the same thing with the Silver Shroud outfit.  So, until the quest is marked as done (and not allowing it to be played again), those items stay "required".    Second, Norita requires some missions to be done twice (with some differences), so it is super convenient to have those  dress items in the inventory, so you don't have to figure out where you left it, or if you sold it, or have to make it again once you have access to a workshop.

Have some general questions about the full content of the Norita path and if I misinterpreted the point of the mod. I get that Slavers and the Nora path have a lot of railroaded worst of humanity business, and that's why I choose not to play them.  I was hoping Norita wouldn't feel the same. Before I get to some substantial criticism, I want to say that the general quality is superb, and there's a lot to like.  However, there are a few decisions I find truly bizarre, especially in contrast to the broader quality and your loading screen text about not wanting to turn endearing characters into awful people.

Spoiler

It seems like at every turn in the Norita path, the player character is required to be unduly sympathetic to the worst people imaginable, and there's no real opportunity to both continue the mod and choose not to side with said terrible people.  Is the decision to eliminate player agency in the following examples deliberate, unconscious, a time crunch, all of the above?

William:  Maxson may have a lot of quest infrastructure around him (I disagree with the decision, but also understand you're not a fully funded studio, and time is precious), but there's no reason my character should be forced to shout about defending William because he fought against Poodle.  Adding a single dialogue option with no change to the event that ignored William would have made the experience much less jarring, and much less sympathetic to violent rapists.  Time thing?

Everything involving Elder Maxson:  Starting with the Nuka Club incident (coercion is rape, Maxson coerced the party, and therefore orchestrated the rape of his love, and his love's sister), that whole situation could be avoided if the PC could do things like help the Overboss liberate the Galactic Zone (I even did it myself before the quest, no dice) which would be a really interesting opportunity to explore being a bit of an Overbitch.  There's no way to convince your sister not to fall in love with a genocidal rapist.  This could also be avoided if the PC could offer to work the club during the Special Girls event, no dice. Even without a way to convince your sister not to fall in love with a genocidal rapist, there's no way to put him down or let him walk away while accepting that your sister will be angry at you.  No sane family member would wingman for their sister to go out with a man whose treatment of women is so violent it makes the Overboss uncomfortable. Is there a reason quest progression is hard locked to being supportive of a genocidal rapist?

Most interactions with the Overboss: The options tend to vary from bratty to cowardly, but rarely principled.  Norita has a conservative but seemingly decent father, there's plenty of interpretations of that life where she would tell Ramona she's not jealous of having the Overboss as a father. Once again, one line of dialogue where she finds Ramona's argument in the college building unconvincing does the trick without forcing additional events or branching paths.  Same with conquering the Galactic zone.  Why would Norita feel guilty when the Overboss was the self destructive moron, especially so when Isabella is there correctly reminding her that she has no reason to feel guilty about not selling young women into sexual slavery?

Your missing required mods.  Without knowing specifics of what outfits I would guess your missing one of the main bodyslide mods that are in the Nuka Ride folder, and your missing HN66's EasyGirl or HN66's TRS, don't remember which one JB is using for the collar there, but that's a missing texture.  The missing body parts is missing meshes.

I always like reading positive and negative reviews/feedback because it shows that people are invested enough to attempt to make the product (or mod) more to their own liking.   So I applaud your post.  That said, I have to say I find it odd and interesting that you even played NR, based on the tenor of some of your comments.

Spoiler

First, do you mean "unduly sympathetic" or empathic? (the difference is subtle, but I am trying to understand your criticism)..  Second, NR is very much about a Faustian bargain .

Second, story writing should be larger than life, meaning it should be exaggerated.  Perhaps Sister will change Maxson and make him a better person, or at least temper his genocidal tendencies, or maybe it will end with a sort of perverted Romeo and Juliet, where both come to a tragic end (though in this case, Sister can be rebuilt).

As for Norita helping take Galactic Zone, while Nortia could be a Mary Jane (I certainly play the PC as that in the vanilla FO4 while waiting for the conclusion of NR) due to the game mechanics, it is hard to imagine that until this teen age girl with no military training or combat experience could turn the tide to take a park that has defied all attempts over the past 200 years.

Third, I am guessing you haven't benefited from participating in this forum since NR 1 and saw the evolution of the Overboss character.  I was one of the voices that asked for the ability for Nora (there was only one story back then, even before CS) to take her revenge ala Cait style at some point in the play through.   So, imo, JB struck a balance between a reprehensible raider warlord (Nora path) with a more humanized and nuanced overboss (Norita).   However, to your point........why do you play NR?

Now the good news is that modding allows people to make changes to what they want to see, esp since JB posts the source code, so you can go in and tinker with it to soften it to your tastes.  I do that (I think it is stupid that 200 years have past, so everything is referenced to the War happening 70 years prior, caps are only canon to FO1 for a specific reason, while gold is used in FO2, so there are no caps in my NR only silver coins, my Norita is a JROTC (Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps) which explains why she can use weapons, etc.)

I believe I understand most of your criticisms, so hopefully you don't take this reply as antagonistic.

The Context lies in the Nora path.

Posted (edited)

I don't quite see Maxson as a rapist. He clearly sees Norita as a porn actress and uses that to his advantage. And his goal isn't for pleasure or some sort of sadistic diversion; he wants to see if there are spies from the institute in the place where he's investing.

Actions should be judged according to their historical context. In a lawless wasteland where the law of the mightiest prevails, men making hard choicees are needed. I couldn't judge Maxson or the Overboss by the standards of our real world. They're characters made and shaped by their environment.

I read a really cool analysis of NR on a Korean site about how NR is just a diversion so as not to take it too seriously. However, it said that I clearly hate the Brotherhood, because of how Maxson is portrayed. But they're my favorites. If anything, I detest the Railroad in any case, lol. I don't have a single character, plot, or mention of them in my entire mod.

Anyway, creating branches so the sister does this, the character plays Rambo that... I always welcome suggestions, but man, sometimes you have to stop and think: what you're asking for isn't something that big studios are doing, nor is it something that some poor soul doing it as a hobby is going to do.

The parks are reserved for the Overboss to capture. If Norita can capture them herself, then this mod makes no sense. You're Rambo. Go conquer the wasteland.

That's more complicated because they're not activators like hair dye. Right now, you can only buy them from Shelby, but what I can do is inject them into the vendors leveled list so that other vendors can offer them.
