Well, it's true that Savage Cabbage causes CTD to you 😱 It's the first time I've seen something like this. From what I've read, a lot of the hkx files with super mutants cause your CTD.

 

I wonder if it's because of your system.

 

Since there are no animations for super mutants in my mod, I suggest you install the new version of Savage Cabbage and manually delete the “SuperMutant,” “FEVHound,” and “SuperMutant Behemoth” folders.

Well, the news is that I reinstall Savage Cabbage but this time I left unchecked the support for supermutants, hounds and behemoth, and the game started! I don't have time now to play but I will test more from tomorrow. Could it be conflict with some other animation mod also using supermutants and friends? Another mystery for me is also that when I uncheck the NukaRide mods to play my other character AAF crashes during animations, same mods same loadorder just NR on - NR off

OK, Interesting.  My guess is this is some weird file permissions issue, what version of MO2 are you using?  Do you have AV?  Maybe add exclusions for AV, there is one particular AV out there that causes a lot of issues with MO2, you can check their support forums.  You might need to exclude the game folder and the MO2 instance folder (where the mods are).  I just use Defender and it has no issues.

 

It appears to be looking for a loose file and failing in kernelbase.dll, which AVs typically create weird permission failures that well the game engine probably doesn't check or expect so it crashes.  The other thing that is interesting is the file "SC-FMM-SuperMutantFEVHound-Standing01-07ClimaxLoop-F1.h" doesn't actually exist in the mod, maybe it is the .hkx file and Buffout just truncates the buffer after a certain number of characters (although I don't know why the longer buffer for register R15 comes through and truncates in the same way).  Seems like maybe you have a bad XML or plugin referencing the wrong files?

 

By the way, your crash log doesn't report plugins, why?

I need help installing your "AAF Nuka Ride: A Porn Studio Mod". I'm not really familiar with it. Could you please make me a list of which mods/versions I exactly need and what else I need to take into account, as something is always going on with me. Sometimes my boobs and ass are hanging in the air, sometimes I can't use the altanatife rod, and sometimes nothing works at all. What never works is the voice output. The mouths move but no sound can be heard.

Go to the previous page (p.940) of what I posted before (From the manual, setup a functioning AAF, download all the required mod on the first page of Nuka Ride).

You need to finish setting up basics for Fallout 4 mods first. 

The body is like that because you didn't generate a body for you character in Bodyslide. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/201

You also want to build the outfits to your body too. 

Did you download the voice file from the download folder? It's separate download (Vocies 2.0.7) 

Just start with the main file and voice file for now.

Disable any mod (other than Nuka Ride stuff) that effects Nuka World or it's NPC's.

This is how I run my old-gen Fallout 4 (version 1.10.163.0). I hope this helps in some way.

If you're using Vortex, go to the Plugins section and move all nukaride.esp plugins to the bottom of the load order. To do this, create a group named "nukaride" in the Groups graph (Manage Groups - Button) within the Plugins section, and position this group at the end of the load order. Then, locate all nukaride.esp plugins and assign them to the "nukaride" group tag you just created.

Weapon Debris, which can be toggled in the vanilla Fallout 4 launcher under Options → Advanced, may cause crashes (CTDs). To prevent this, you should either disable it or install the "Weapon Debris Fix" mod.

Try to avoid mods that require breaking all precombines in the game, that asks you to set bUseCombinedObjects=0 in your Fallout4.ini file. If you decide looking for a mod to clean up workshops, use Rebuild AIO — it only breaks precombines in workshop areas and replaces them with new ones. Just make sure that if you're using Rebuild AIO, you place Rebuild_Settlements_Previs.esp near the bottom of your load order, just above nukaride.esp.

 

JB has voice files in the optional files folder, you probably forget to install that.

 

I think I didn’t miss anything. If I did, feel free to correct me. Just make sure to check the hard requirements and your game version — either Old Gen (1.10.163) or New Gen (1.10.984) — before installing any mods.

As 4nln415 mentioned about the bodyslide studio issue, it seems you're not setting up the morphs correctly in BodySlide Studio. You need to use the Zero Slider preset + make sure the "Build Morphs" option is checked + and use the Batch Build to generate multiple outfits quickly. You also need the in-game Body Sliders mod for Looksmenu, which allows you to customize your character's body appearance directly in-game through the Looksmenu Body section.

When modifying the character in Looksmenu make sure the body triangle dot is centered to avoid clipping issues with clothing. After that, you can use the sliders to adjust body proportions. If clothing morphs are enabled, the outfits will automatically follow the body shape when you change the body sliders (mod) in-game in the looksmenu. I use Fusion Girl, so in my case I use the "ZeX In-Game Sliders 1.0.1" mod for in-game body adjustments.

You have a ton of mods that replace vanilla textures. That's why your Shank looks bleached and Dara looks like that.

 

For me, the easiest solution is to uninstall "Head Part Extended". That way the NPCs will use the textures from their facegen files and not whatever you have in your loose folders.

That should be the icing on the cake. So it's not in the immediate plans. Nora has to defeat Rottweiler, and Norita has to defeat Atlas. They're like the final enemies of each route.

If your'e using Fusion girl you need Zex v6 skeleton to get the body physics working

I have no idea, I play on Steam Deck, so no AV involved and no Winzoz defender, the version of MO2 is the 2.4.2 installed by Steamtinkerlaunch, installing other versions on linux (eg, Bottles, Wine) is possible but it's not a walk in a park and out of my capabilities, in 2025 MO2 doesn't have any appimage or flatpak, I wonder if the project is still alive (even MS Edge has a flatpak, Vortex is working on an appimage, and MO2 still looks a Win98 app). I am considering to use LiMO maybe the day to try it is coming. MO2 is installed in the same partition and pfx of the game, it should not have permission problems, and normally I don't have problems with mods, only AAF is a roll of dices. This is another crash log I have regarding AAF, but not for NR so far, maybe usefull to understand better

I have found that most problems after reading through peoples bug reports come from not using a new profile in their mod manager for the mod they are playing they have a hundred mods (mainly fluff mods) there that none have anything to do with the mod they are playing,I have a default profile with AAf, a couple of themes ,savage cabbage and leito ,Fusion girl and body talk and that's it then when I get a mod like this which is almost a total conversion of the game I copy my default profile and call it Nuka ride and add the requirement into that profile one at a time ,load order is also VERY important the learning curve isn't really steep but it does require some basic knowledge of how mods are installed and there is a shit ton of documentation on those subjects,the point is no one on here has the same mod list and it is really hard for a modder to know what else you may be running in your mod list

If you were able to play the intro — the pre-war Sanctuary and the Vault(inside) without a CTD (Assuming you didn’t use a mod to skip it.) If so, that same thing happened to me about a year ago when I was playing the FO4 New Gen version 1.10.984 (I forgot to disable Weapon Debris in the vanilla launcher settings). Every time I stepped out of the Vault, the game would crash whenever the main character ran over dirt or gravel.

Cement (asphalt) or metal surfaces didn’t seem to trigger the crash — if this is hapening so it is probably the weapons debris bug.

If that's not the case, you probably have a missing hard requirement mod, a load order issue, or an incompatibility between mods.

First try it without enabling NR. Just the essentials. You want to pinpoint/solve what's causing the crash and make sure you have a stable game first. After that you need to make sure your AAF works, then it's time for NR and other mods. (AAF manual is pretty good even for setting up basics)

 

Can you also share your current plugin list, crash log with us (Load orders also may need to be sorted)

Did you downgrade your game? Do you have the HD texture pack (don't need it)? If it's not downgraded I have no experience but I think it's mostly fine.  

 

Since you're crashing make sure you have these so you can produce crash logs (Documents/MyGame/Fallout4/F4SE)

Uff, good luck.  What you should do is call Valve, they should donate the hardware & money to the development teams -- it's not the other way around that they should go purchase it and support it.  It literally costs them next to nothing to do this.

 

In any case, try the MO2 Discord (see https://www.modorganizer.org/ for the link, there is a fellow there kencv that plays on Kubuntu, he is probably the closest one to help on a Linux-based device -- not sure if he has experience with Steam Deck but I have seen people on Steam Deck there installing MO2 and he was helping.

 

As for the latest crash log, this is different.  You have PRP installed, that's usually a problem with NR, but I don't even see NR in this crash log (so it should be fine).  ArmorKeywords.esm is pretty out of favor, btw.  This seems to be crashing somewhere in rendering since you see mesh node references on the stack.  Might be worthwhile to run this this CLAS that I mentioned earlier.  On NG (1.10.984.0) below is the minimal base mod list I would use to build NR on (you shouldn't need Weapon Debris Crash Fix since your on an AMD GPU), this as a base has been stable for me on Windows (providing this just in case it's one of these fix mods).  Beyond this I would disable mods until you get a stable game, then start adding things back in until you identify the problematic mod.

Thanks a lot, il try all the above. As a personal challenge I decided to reinstall the game and use LiMO on fresh install also for future reinstallations, I am very curious to know how it works, it is linux native after all. And I would like to mod also Skyrim with LiMO that recently I have problems with the last release of Pandora engine. And because I am trying something new I will also try NAF instead of AFF, once I am testing something I will test them all. I will post here again my exprience in case more linux users are out there.

Nora questline: After I complete the final quest A Place called Home, I can recruit my sister as a companion after completing all four scenes of Porn Movie: After Party, but when the Porn Movie: After Party mission is unlocked, completing a shot will trigger my sister's third date, and after completing this task, the sister can already be recruited as a companion. But as I said at the beginning, after I completed the final quest A Place called Home, my sister became unrecruitable, and when I talked to her, it would only reply to random standby conversations, there would be no dialog boxes, and I think several people have already reported this problem. There is also a second problem, during my playthrough, Adolf was unable to talk after joining the studio, the dialogue did not respond, and the night fever mission could not proceed normally, but I felt that this should not be a common problem, because I did not retrieve comments with similar situations. (Forgive me for using the English translation because my native language is not English)
