Don't you need the Level 1 Locksmith perk to pick advanced Locks? I do have lockpicks in my inventory, its just I don't have the perk. Anyway, I'll just unlock the desk through console command.

currently on the lusty lady portion of my quest, where i need to dance to get chips. I feel like something is wrong because i have danced on both polls and done ever dance avalible and even done a few lap dances. I have yet to get approaced, Is there something i am doing wrong? is the something specific i have to be wearing? what am i doing wrong

During the Night Fever quest, you get into a shootout with Solomon and his two thugs within the underground cave. Is he supposed to die? Because I complete the quest, the mayor allude that you killed Solomon but here he is, still alive but I can't interact with him.

Hi @JB. and everyone, I am back, anything I can do to help, please let me know.

I am having an issue with objects appearing an disappearing, I have all these supporting mods in a last load category and have nothing that affects the vanilla Nuka World so I am at a loss as to why this is happening, any help is most appreciated.

This is not a big deal if not, more of a request for convenience that I'm not even sure anyone else would want or need, but is it at all possible to add a hotkey option to the MCM for the Hardcore Mode?  It's not as big a deal for my Norita characters but definitely for my Nora characters, who I have eating fully healthy and want the anal pain timer setting while in NW but then absolutely cheating her diet while out in the commonwealth when she takes her scooter, and while I know the solution is just to go into the MCM and turn it on and off as desired, I keep feeling like a hotkey would make my life a little easier 🥰

Hey JB, NR 6.9.0 is absolutely amazing and you did an excellent job. The storyline, the settings, the dialogues, we go from surprise to surprises. 
It's rarely repetitive. Since the "Fusion City" or "Outcast and Remants" mods, I haven't seen a quest mod of this quality. 
A very big congratulations!!!

3 questions :

1/ have someone who coul'd translate in French ?

2/ I finished Norita'route. When do you think you finish update ?

3/ After update and finish story,  will we be able to resume the original Fallout story while still visiting NR?

I reloaded my save to do the Solomon cave portion over again, and kill Solomon and his guards. When I finishing talking to Doberman, I go and check Solomon's corpses and I cannot interact with it. Then When I come out after checking the Mayor, there is Solomon, still alive but uninteractable.

Sounds good, I'll put it in the MCM as a hotkey too. Already have the hotkey to see the training stats too.

1- I don't know if you are offering or asking me to find someone, but in any case, as far as I know there are only Russian and Chinese versions made by other players.

2- I don't want to give dates, but I'm working on the last quest of the version 6.9.1. It would be great to upload it in July.

3-Yeah, that's in the plans. Imagine visiting the Institute as Norita or as Nora. It doesn't require a lot of engineering, just creating appropriate dialogue to make it believable.

I'm wondering if it's a mod conflict.  You seem to have an equip option so I'm wondering do you have anything that touches dead bodies?  I see you're using the equip on bodies mod, which I haven't tested, but are you using any others that may touch or alter a corpse or someone in corpse state?  I just checked on an old save of mine, I kill him and it's fine.  I restored an old version including the 6.9b and killing him keeps him dead for me 

 

I will try again without finding the letter and if I get a different result will update this for you

There is another mod meddling in the way, for sure. The same thing happened to me a few days ago with a mod that modifies the candles. Immersive Candles. You'll have to figure out which one is the culprit.

To test it, I went straight to kill Solomon before he spoke to me xD I can try to kill him after a little dialogue.

 

There are three ways.

 

Kill him without any words. As soon as you have an angle, before he tells you anything.

Kill him with the dialogue option.

Or save him with dialogues.

I am using a mod where enemies have a chance to surrender if you take their health below a certain amount. I believe its Crime and Punishment.

Speaking of saving Solomon, considering my character isn't normally a shoot first type, can you really save him? Cause I never got any dialogue options indicating you can. I assume you can only get said dialogue option if you don't rob his house in an earlier quest.

Man, your mod is amazing — huge thanks for all your work. I just had a thought I wanted to share:

The friendliness the Danmores — especially Monica — show toward Norita feels a little forced. Of course, that’s just my personal impression.

Maybe it would make sense to write the story in a way that Norita is a distant relative of the Danmores? For example, her uncle didn’t make it into the vault but survived the 2077 blast — and later became the founder of the Danmore line.

Naturally, it’s just my imagination running wild, but I think it could work pretty well and give a solid reason for why the Danmores are so involved in Norita’s story.

It didn't feel forced to me.

 

I think the dialog between Monique and Brett after Monique and Norita have their discussion gives us a view as to Monique's thoughts.

 

Anyway, just my take on it.

Yeah, Monique's maternal instinct is what leads her to offer Norita a place to stay. Or you can call it sorority. It seems like the most natural thing in the world to me.  Sociocultural contexts may vary in the rest of the world, but the truth is that evidence of these things can even be found in the animal world.

You would have to be a skilled detective like Keyshawn and find all the clues.

@JB. So, after a bunch of searching, it looks like the Keyshawn for Diamond City isnt loading in? Is he not supposed to be in the mayor's office, or is something busted on my end?  Or are you supposed to talk to the Dog Key?

I can speak and write in Canadian French if they get back to you looking for someone to translate it. (Actual France French though I'd be a little lost... Canadian French is a dialect separated by over 250 years missing out on modernization of the French and modernizing in our own way adding English and our own slang to it. )
