After a few runs I made a Nuka Ride NPC mod and copied the ones I wanted to "pretty up" into it so I wouldn't have to worry about any conflicts. Then every new NR version I check for any changes to the NPC's and rock on.

I use Kekebu All-in-One all the time never had this problem 

 

I just got back and my disappointment is immeasurable seeing Nuka Ride was "updated" but not really

Guess I am back. And yes Nuka Ride is at the bottom of my load order now. I am on The Special Girls (_NukaRide_Girls) and when we get to the car to escape with the girls. Its gets hung up on the loading screen.

This has happened multiple times now. is it possible to command another set stage or do i need to be in Nuka World?

No, "SetStage _NukaRide_Girls 400" is the only stage viable in that context. 

 

Another option is to load a save before you chat with Gage in Nuka World. Activate cheat mode. And when Gage starts his walk to Nuka Cade, the cheat mod will kick in to finish the quest. 

 

Edit: I came up with this. COC to Nuka World (coc NukaWorldNukaTownUSA01 ) and then write the setstage 400

Well after many files removed from load order, groups combined into single files (outfits that have way to many files) I never see anything red in log report for MO2 which is something I was never able to achieve, largely thanks to the instructions and responses in this section!   I have to say the custom animations for this mod are almost flawless, the work done on these deserves applause!   I am just having a hard time figuring out the OB.   I started on Nora route - had issues, cleaned up the load order and went well below the file limit (which this mod really does not work well with as there are so many idles, animations and other things going on all around the PC) I played the Norita route to test it out and had very little issue until reaching the end.   Cleaned up a few more things and started a Nora route again.   Unlike the Norita route, the OB sometimes likes the dom choice must mostly likes the sub choices.   This behavior is not always consistent though.   The PC is currently around 37 Dom (started standard story) and normally has no issues, but the last couple of quests the OB has freaked out about any non sub choices to the point where he has gone postal on the PC.   I am near the go to Far Harbor area of the story if that gives any help.   I am normally able to go back and forth with the sub and dom with the OB during most conversations, and go mostly dom with the others, would love to shoot Cage though as he is a complete ass.   I bitched at Maxon when he showed up in the apartment, but did want he wanted at the end, not sure if that is what started all this.   The dolled up scene with Kali was mixed choices and was fine.   It is highly annoying to me and PC that no one, even those that act and claim to be her friend never believe her, ever.   Will see what happens, but will not go the total sub route, they can get the whip out all they want.

did have a question, since I yanked the HD DLC pack as part of the cleanup, the only real alternative I can see is this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/52423 but was worried about loading the NukaWorld part of this and wanted to know if it would cause issues.   Also would it be ok to install it mid play through or should I wait to play the Norita route on a fresh run when its updated (while not as far as the Nora route I really prefer the story and progression of that route vs Nora)

That's a texture replacer, meaning, it doesn't add or remove anything from the world. So it can be installed/removed at anytime. But, I'd install it and start a new run. But that's just me.

I ran it for a good bit, but it had a few textures that were just fuggly as hell and bugged me to no end. It is faaaaar better than Bugthesda's fake HD textures.

I don't see why you would have any problems, they are just textures. It's the kind of mod that you can install and uninstall at any time. 

As for the OB, in Nora's route he had many changes. 

At first he was an hateful guy who gave us justification to go kill him in the vanilla DLC. The mod ended in Nuka Ride 2 and that was it, you sure felt like going to the Gauntlet to stitch him up with bullets. 

Then the mod started to have a story, so I decided he should stay (I didn't want to use too much Mason/Mags/Nisha for fear of breaking the DLC). I told myself he would be like a pimp. He offers Nora to his special guests in exchange for caps, favors. Note that I wrote this as “Nora is a very smart woman but she doesn't know how to handle weapons, so she has no choice but to suck it up to survive”.

Then users commented their opinions and it seemed natural for him to start feeling things for Nora, so I said, okay, change of plans, he's going to start feeling jealous of her now. We paved the way for her to be the future Overbitch. 

The whole “I don't believe you killed a raider” thing is simply a joke throughout the mod. I've noticed that a lot of people really resent that so I'm trying to level that out in Norita's route. 

With Norita it was easier because her whole route was planned from the beginning. The OB is a tough guy but he has a little soft spot because of his fatherhood. That's what allows Norita to have another kind of interaction with him.

Can I ask what you changed it to?   I don't see a ton of options on Nexus.

Makes a lot of sense.   Do like the change in people like "Auntie" Nisha in Norita and having a true friend in Sophie is also nice.  I will try to make even more saves for interactions with OB and his friends, as you don't always see them coming.   Non of this is really any complaints btw, this mod along with both routes are amazing!   Norita is just more my playstyle.

Just back to vanilla. I haven't tried his latest version, so I'm guessing the original poor quality nifs have been fixed. will probably give it another shot at some point, casue I really like it.

It looks like in the next parts we can see a love story between Norita and OB and a story of slavery for Nora. Despite everything that Nora has done for OB, he still considers her nothing more than a whore and if, for example, Nora is late from the Commonwealth, then OB will not hesitate to call her a slave. That is, in any case, he considers her his slave. Although now not only his, Kali has appeared.

Ok.....I have been away from FO4 and Nuka-Ride for quite a while......I have got AAF installed for the new build.  I was stuck at 68% load until I found the bad animation pack....so now it loads just fine....the only problem is during all of the scenes in NukaRide.....I am doing the alternate start with the young mc....it puts on a male body during all the scenes....lol  deleting BodyTalk does not fix this.....it will use the stock body with underware......the head is still female.  I have tried deleting the animation files and reinstalling them.....UAP installed or uninstalled did not change anything....not sure what to do....any ideas?

Is this inside information or your projection based on the last release?

 

I am happy about the Norita part.

 

Less happy with the Nora route, but that is just me, not asking for anything to be changed so don't be yelling at me. I have to restart Nora route again, I ended up in the town square so I guess I need to make some other choices. Kinda surprised that my friends thought that was a just punishment, I guess I expected some sympathy from them. I love JB's work, so I will try again to get through this one.

Axary told me that the punishment looks more like a quest out of Commonwealth Slavers and he has a point. There's a reason I created that mod (send all my hardcore ideas in there). 

I wrote Music as someone who lived through it all as a child, so she sees her father's punishment and savagery as normal. 

Punishment has a “soft” mode in MCM. If you activate it before the OB starts his walk to the market, he will move on and have his dialogues like normal, then kick the end of the punishment.

We'll see how everything evolves. It's difficult (the love story) with all the context surrounding both of them. He has a harem and she has her little adventures in every port she goes to.

Anyone else having trouble with the quest "We can spark a fire"? The quest starts but when I speak to the Overboss in front of the bar, all he says is "So.", and nothing else. He occasionally tries to enter the bar through the front door but nothing happens after his animation is executed.

1-Did you advance manually at any point with console commands?

2-If you want to interact with the door, it does not appear with the “Open” indicator?

Oh I had to manually advance during the "Overly Thorny Rose" quest where the quest wouldn't update after completing the chores.
 

No, the door has no interactable indicator on it.

Setstage _NR_Fire 100 should activate the door. 

 

But it will also make the OB teleport to Nuka Town, so go into the bar and go up to the room, sleep for an hour or two, the OB should be back by now.
