6.5K When visiting Mason, after the blowjob to clean up the mess, the PC is stuck, enabed layer isn't cleared, and Mason wont talk to you unless you were in the perfect spot before the scene starts. Which if AAF moves you, you're stuck until you riel.

 

There's also an error, I call it a transition error, that is fixed by a F5>F9 before the triggering the transition.
Like as a maid, washing the dishes, pushups, VIP visit/OB visit, moving upstairs for sex. Will all trigger a soft lock. Saving/loading before a transition seems to clear the error and everything works fine.

The logs show nothing.

I have to say, just played this for first time ever and really enjoyed it.

I was wondering though, after you finish is it possible to then start regular dlc by going to train station or will that break the game or make my new favorite NPC music disappear??

I am asking as I also usually always play with raider reform school and love having Nisha and Mags and Dixie and even jenny from operators enslaved and working for me, that usually occurs during my hostile takeover after I finish liberating nuka world. Instead of raiding the commonwealth I then take out the raiders.

After you finish nuka ride can you then start normal DLC or can you just take out overboss and not have the travel restrictions and stuff anymore?? I am now back to a gun wielding bad ass taking out raiders and baddies all over the setting up settlements, don't like having to ask for permission to go to commonwealth etc

iirc you can go back and forth to commonwealth without permission by using the Kaiser/Nuka-Tron route.  if you finished the current run (and had the

pop-up that tells you this is it for now) you can also use scooter (if you unlocked it).  as for doing vanilla questline, it will stop NR and i have no clue

what that will cause to happen.

It pretty much goes back to vanilla. Enter the transit station, kill Murphy power up the train travel to NW and as soon as you get off the train you'll get a notice that NR has shut down. At that point you can continue on with the vanilla quest line.

I'll let you discover the changes, but you do get to keep the apartment & sister.

Oh, and you can't kill Colter unless you trigger the NR shutdown. That removes his god mode.

Specifically I locked the player there because many run straight to the porn studio as soon as Mason says "Okay, you can go to the studio but don't forget to..." *Runs to the studio, naked and without looking back*. Some people don't let him finish and come to report that Corsican isn't in the studio. Since I implemented the lock, no one else has reported that problem again.

Does anyone want me to implement dental brackets in the mod? I can put them on the player and vary some dialogues. I tested it for fun and it looks good. Is set via script which means only the player has it. I'm not good at manipulating textures, but I made a diffuse, normal and specular texture. 

 

It's very crappy right now but the result came out decent. We just need someone to want to do the textures decently and not my poor attempt.

Resources, in case anyone wants to improve it. I will be in charge of making the normal and specular maps.  I refuse to put my texture on, it literally has half-covered watermarks on it. 😵‍💫

PS: It can be multicolour or any other color. Now that I think about it we can do pink/red/multicolor and choose one via scripts.

EDIT: I should probably also state that the 6.0 version is shown as "archive damaged" in NMM. I am using the test of 6.5

What mod manager are you using? MO2 & Vortex require extra steps to install.

I had the same bug, going back to the throne Mason pushed my character, and the character was too far for dialog.
But I immediately realized what went wrong, and just replayed, so I quickly forgot about it.

Mega has 2 download options: Standard download / Download as a ZIP file.
Often people miss and click "Download as a ZIP file" and get "Nuka Ride.7z" inside "Nuka Ride.zip".
Check the file extension, it should be .7z, not .zip.

Just unzip "Nuka Ride.zip" and you will get "Nuka Ride.7z" and you can install the mod.

Now that I think about it, I recently discovered a very useful function within the dialogues. I'm going to remove the hard lock. That means there will be people who will start running to the studio like Usain Bolt as soon as Mason starts talking, right?

 

The function is simple and is the same one that Wolfgang uses if you leave the conversation in Drumlin Dinner. It's called "Walk Away Phase".

 

Basically, everyone who starts running naked like a marathon towards the porn studio, possessed by a devil as soon as Mason opens his mouth, will do an auto-setstage for leaving the conversation and the mod will proceed normally.

It still is not showing up in the load order, nor the "plugins" section of Vortex. However, it IS showing up as installed in the mods list in Vortex.

FWIF, I think this is the cause of the issue I was having before, where the character would get locked in place but not be close enough always to continue a scene, for example when larsen/kellogg are speaking with their guest and I'm waiting until they're done to get the dishes. Dialogue ends, but I can't move to approach the table to clear it.
