I haven't touched any of it for months. See if you don't have a mod that modifies that cell. Or in any case script lag? That quest have repeatable stages. That means you can open the console and ask it to run stages you already did -so I suggest you use SQV to see what stage you have, and ask the console to replay that stage (setstage _NukaRide_Fever x). Or try previous stages - until you find the stage that opens the door, it shouldn't be far away.

Thanks but there is no way I would leave a potentially quest-breaking buggy version online. Just look at this topic. It's by far the topic with the most posts in the entire Fallout forum. There are constant reports and for some reason that I still don't understand I am not yet burned out and have not yet lost my patience. But the last thing I want is more people reporting bugs to me that I already fixed. It's a waste of my time. 

 

Anyway at some point, I guess soon, I will stop updating. 5.0.6 was supposed to be the last one this year, but this is a big house of cards and if you move one piece, the others can fall. 

 

So if everything is OK I don't think there will be a new update soon and unless someone reports to me that their PC explodes, I think 5.0.7 might be the final one this year (fingers crossed, knock on wood).

so why is all the chat dialogs in this mod so friggen long spending 30 minutes talking to a damn npc about stupid nonsince when he already told you what to do is annoying to the degree i just wipe out the settlement

 

edit: ok the drug mule crap got this removed from my LO, my characters nobody's fking drug mule and after the travis part got me to like this mod it does something beyond stupid and against disciples obsessions no less

Hey JB....I just finished the first investor party with the OB and he says he put the new furniture in the apartment....when I got to the apartment there is now two showers in the same spot....it was fine before I went to the party so this was added after the OB put the "furniture" in the bedroom.

Well first of all, if you have the right mod installed you can just click through the dialog to speed it up......and second....it's called roll playing.....your character isn't supposed to be a bad ass.....she's a scared woman in a fucked up world completely out of her element......if you think this mod is beyond stupid then uninstall it and go learn how to mod and make your own.

given the character is a lawyer and her husband was a soldier i doubt she is very scared, her strengths wouldnt be that of a fool sitting on a couch poping 3 bags of chips plus the disciples seems to have an extreme interest in hyper violence most that get they jolly's going is how many peices of the vics they gotta pick off them selves, as for the pack content it was rather fitting given i'd imagin that being mason to a lighter degree, kells i just seen as a stupid ass worthless junkie that got booted out of the BOS for being so, it wasnt till nisha spouted that drug mule shit that i got really annoyed but yet, gg for being yet another web warrior, not everyone cares

Hmm, can you double check that with another save? Just to see if the double-shower was there before the meeting. 

 

I don't have the CK handy, but I remember he just unlocks the Torture Devices furniture + 1 poster. 

 

By the way did you install a CWSS/BYOP patch for the showers as well?

Given Bethesda sucks, your Player Character can be anything you can imagine.

Mine happens to be an attorney, who made more selling her body pre-war and is looking to do the same post war.

If you find this mod not to your liking, move on, don't tell us all about the bad experience you had because the forum here is full of folks who like the mod!

It's way better than what Bethesda has you doing, IMO                          ?                       G

Yeah....I had started a new game for this run through and I do have CWSS patch installed....the shower was working just fine....I checked it when I first got the appartement.  I had used the shower just before going to the OB.....and it doesn't clean your face either....only the body wipes do.  NR is at the end of the load list and the patches are after NR.  It was just after the OB party that it doubled up.

Well as it was explained to me by the Author, it cannot be to be centered on any 1 or 2 individuals.

What I mean is what might be great for you or me, would not fit everyone's playstyle.

Keep in mind though that JB. has put a lot of effort and work into his art and should at least be given thanks for something that took time, talent, health and thought.

I know he has not charged me a penny for his mod, his time making the mod, or his time spent here answering all the questions and in general being a good guy.

Question, is there a way to use Devious Devices without AWKCR??

I recently removed AWKCR and all mods that relied on it as a requirement.

With sexual harassment, it is not the same being locked in invisible DD's.

I do not use AWKCR.....I use ECO(Equipment and Crafting Overhaul) and the DD stuff works just fine.  JB told me to use this a while ago.

The AWKCR requirement can be surgically removed from DD 2.0 with some work. The community continuations of DD (which have been getting attached to comments in its support thread but will hopefully get officially turned into 2.1 or 3.0 soon) have that master record completely removed from the plugin.

Which Devious Devices are you using?  the original, or the RC8 version? If the original, I'm pretty sure there's a no AWKCR version floating around in the forum somewhere.  I thought I had a download of it already, but no dice.  You should be able to find it though.  Otherwise, RC8 is an updated version of DD, and I think it is already set up for now AWKCR.

Thanks for making this mod, I'm enjoying the content i've been able to thus far.

I'm having an issue with a lot CTD, I've tried changing the plugin order and load order as recommended but it doesnt seem to have fixed it. The crashes have really picked up as i entered Nuka World. I crash as soon as I try having a conversation with Mason. It crashes often but sporatically before that.

It doesn't seem to crash when I load an older save and avoid the mod content.

Please help if you can!

Is NR at the bottom of your load order? Have you run your Buffout log through Crash log auto scan? That usually tells you what is going on.    Good Luck     ?   G
