Indeed, the only quest I forgot to "turn off" is the mule quest, that's why it's still working. lol how vengeful you are

 

The mule quest is over if you kill Nisha, by the way. I'll fix this bug you discovered. Because it should also end when you start the DLC.

Wait...I'm looking at the code and the mule should be stopped. I don't know what could be happening.

Congrats for such a high quality mod. In my opinion its one of the most entertaining mods i have played. I admire how much you  @JB. cared about every little detail. The cute animation you placed when the pc asks vadim if she can hang up some posters for example, although its so short, some might miss to notice it, you still took the time to add it there and this level of detail can be seen everywhere in your mod. The music choice, the dialogues, everything. Also the body fluid cream thing is extremely helpul with getting rid of not decayed overlays.

 

I also really like that you consdered the different origins we chose (being Nora or some other character). Doing the Mission "Made in Heaven" as an alternative started character is already fun, but playing it as Nora - holy god how well she can explain her chosen path and how you solved the unspoken conflict of that situation. Thats awesome writing and probably the best Explanation how a female character "lives" in an AAF modded Fallout world. And the reactions of Mr Stocktons "friend", i really felt sympathy for both of them. Very well done.

 

If you happen to continue with this mod i would give a suggestion: 

  Reveal hidden contents

...the Cito/Gage weapon rewards: for my taste these are too good. Maybe smaller weapons like a small pistol as the deliverer and a switchblade would fit the pornstar better,

As for the weapons, I decided to give you the same weapons that you would normally receive by playing the DLC. That's why you can receive Cito's bat and Mason's rifle. These are weapons that you can no longer get if you follow the Nuka Ride route.

Hmmmm... The script is a simple Fast Travel so I can only think of a mod that is interfering with fast travels or a mod that is interfering with your carrying capacity. Fast travel does not work if your weight exceeds your capacity.

I'm gonna check this later, I'm sure Nisha propose me a mule job after the gauntlet, but thé quest did stopped when I became overboss as vadim and visit mason, maybe it has been reseted..

Edit : The _nukaride_mule quest is running in my game, I stopped the quest, and now everything is fine, Nisha even give me radiant quest

 

 

PS : Nothing to do with Nuka Ride, but maybe someone could help me, since Shank has been a customer of my brothel with generic voice file, he loose his voice and lips movements, I think it's an alias from the brothel's mod that didn't clear in the right way, but I can't find a solution.

I haven't seen this issue pop up yet, but running through the latest version, some clothes are not being pulled off.    This outfit stays on during filming.   I opted to not install AAF as I run it through another function, but......  perhaps I should have?    When I went Mason for the first time, the clothes worked fine (being pulled off, etc.) but this one...  not so.  

 

Any ideas why?

I encountered either a bug or a conflict with another mod. After fighting Tessa every time i pull a melee weapon or just the fists my character is automatically blocking one time. Same happens when changing from 3rd to 1st person view or stop sprinting with pulled melee weapon. It persists and a save/reload does not help.

 

I have a save just before the fight and when i load it, it is fine, but everytime after the fight this problem occurs again. It just doesnt happen when i go through the fight completely without blocking. I also checked an much earlier save and ran to concord to melee only with my fists one of the melee raiders there. Then everything is ok. 

 

Before the fight with Tessa when i choose the *spit on her boots and fight* Option, the PC is playing a short animation. Could it be caused by this, had anyone else encountered this problem?

I use that slot in my backpacks and purses! See if you have a mod that also uses that slot on any items you're carrying. Load a save before the fight and unequip it.

Thanks, i hadnt seen that info. I had the fancy purse from one of the investors equipped. With your info this bug can now be easily reproduced: Have that equipped, do just one melee block and the bug is applied. (no fight necessary just use the block key once)

 

The Tessa fight isnt the cause, it was just the only one melee fight i had before this happened. 

 

Its sad, i liked the purse but better avoid it now and look into my other mods which might use that slot.

Hmm.... I think.... I think I know which mod can be. I'm pretty sure one of its options is about fast traveling. Alright, I'm the one who is traveling these days but I'll look into it when I return home. Hopefully that works. Thanks

Just an FYI, after travelling for a while with Sister my character decided to travel alone for a while, and she couldn't get Sister to go home. Sister was following her and even teleporting to her constantly. To all my tests and examinations Sister didn't seem to be a follower in any of the other mods I have installed.

 

But finally on a hunch in MCM I reset MCG (Magno Cum Gaudio). After doing that Sister went home. There wasn't an issue with Nuka Ride dismissing sister, but I mention it on the odd chance one of the other 55000+ users of Nuka Ride falls into the same problem :)

 

I love that sister can be a follower. Both Sister and Music are wonderful characters in this mod :)

I'm sure HiPoly faces and HiPoly heads doesn't need a patch for this game because I use those and didn't have any issues at all. JB said in a previous post that he uses extended facial sculpting for a few of the NPCs (maybe 3 of them), so you might have squishy faces on them from time to time if you don't use that mod (I don't use it). But usually even those are okay even without a patch, and I'm not aware of a patch for it.

thank you for your work I'm in the middle of the game with the latest version and apart from two scenes that didn't launch (the first in the cat atom garage and another I don't know where after) it works correctly for now

a few things though

I'm in the lucy in the sky mission and I noticed a bug with the overboss which was stuck in the apartment and couldn't debug I simply restarted the save and it worked.

another small thing is that you should change the location of the red vehicle and put it in a place where there is no npc maybe a little before the apartment?, because I had npc stuck in the vehicle .
I also restarted the backup and now they are all on the vehicle! maybe they want to come with us? just an idea!

I have never encountered this not being able to travel.  I have completed around 15 walk throughs since the first version and that has never been an issue.  I had my own share of things not working right.....I was amazed that most of the problems I had was not having AAF installed right.  I never had a problem with it before Nuka Ride....when I deleted all my mods and installed AAF following the guide to the letter, 90 percent of the bugs I was having went away.  The last few play throughs have been flawless.  It is without a doubt one of your other mods....finding out which one is the kicker.....good luck.

I don't know if it would be an issue or not, but since HiPoly Faces and other mods have patches for Oni Face, Asian Face, M-Face, etc. I would still prefer to know which was used for Nuka Ride.

If you install HiPoly Faces and HiPoly heads correctly (and you'd know by now if you didn't), then there cannot be incompatibility with Nuka Ride or any other mod.

If you're paralyzed by concern over HiPoly stuff, don't think. Do :)

I tried the new Hi Poly Faces mod a few weeks ago and all my characters lost their facial animations! No one smiled, no one said stuffs scared/angry, stuff like that.

 

I'm still using classic Hi Poly.

Thanks for the response! Huh, I tested the new HiPoly Faces with the Oni patch and didn't notice any differences, and as far as I could tell my MC and NPCs had the same expressions both with and without the HPF mod. However, I did only check a couple conversations, and one was with a robot, so I'll be keeping an eye out for that issue.

Are you getting flickering too, or just the missing pieces?  JB did some precombine tinkering in NW to get better fps after removing a bunch of trash.  Make sure Nuka Ride is low in your load order.  Try loading it dead last and see if that fixes your problem.

You tried the new HiPoly faces? I've been staying away from it because it says it's not compatible with the original HiPoly faces/heads, and the original's been working great for more than four years. To me it was a case of don't touch what isn't broken, hehe. I remember when it first came out I had similar issues to what you describe, but finally I got it working. As you probably know, if the facial animations stop working, the *.tri files don't match their meshes [Edit: though depending how he implemented the new version, that could be a plugin issue if he gave the new *.tri files a different name than the vanilla].

 

I'm glad you're using the old version :)

 

(I really don't know why SQr17 felt the need to redo that mod, haha.)
