NUKA RIDE 7   Big new update.  😍 Safe to update mid-game. You can remove the "NR6.9 Hotfix" or any other patches if you have it installed. All other patches in the "Optionals" folder remain compatible. 12 new quests for Norita's route. 💓 Fully voiced with Elevenlabs. Updated voice file [Nuka Ride 7 - Voices 1.0] Updated facegen file. [Nuka Ride 7 - Facegen 1.0] Updated the outfits for CBBE, FG and Bodytalk to version 7. ❗

I am using AAF v1.7.2 right now. 
Is that safe?

 

(Had CTS on lesbian scenes with the AAF version I had before .... I just forgot which one that was. I guess it was 1.7.1... )

1.7.2.2 is the latest, at least what I have heard that fixes the crashing problem.  But I believe there is another problem with re-equipping items that JB reported with 1.5.5 and someone mentioned still isn't fixed.  Basically you get equipped with different clothing than what you went in with.

 

Whether it's safe, I don't use it -- still using 1.1.5.

I like seeing the modlists, there is always some edge mod that I have never heard of on it, then you Google it and find it was removed from Nexus during the great offense where 1/3 went to LL, 1/3 returned to Nexus, and 1/3 went on a Google Docs for deleted mods.

Oh BTW @JB. congrats on your team winning the world cup I just read it in the paper even though it's not a sport for Aussies we do appreciate skills in any sport,It's like when we win the Ashes in cricket on English turf (suck it up Poms Bairstow was out) it feels so good 👌

Yes since 1.5 redressing the PC in Nuka Ride can be "interresting". NPC who never change clothes should not give any problem.

So what were they trying to achieve,I have noticed there's now a dll in there,I'm still on 1.1.5 too but I have the new one for archiving because they delete old versions quickly so I pretty much have all of them since beta versions

I'll try it out then (after having FF scenes avoided for quite a while now) 
The equipment issue I have in deed (no matter which animation). 
Though I find it rather amusing than bothering. 
It's actually quite immersive, if you come to think of it :D

Hey JB......I just did the Mirlirk King filming and Kells is a no show.....in fact....I haven't seen him since I didn't take him with me to the Safari.....I figured he would walk there....but when I did the quest by just going to the tree house and getting the outfit I completed the quest....but I haven't seen Kells since....lol.....so when I go to the stage to film he isn't there.....leave it to me to break something....lol.  I just set the stage to the point where it asked me if I wanted to do the scene or the other gal.....it completed the scene without the mirelirk....aka Kells.

Maybe trying to solve all of the performance problems with AAF.  Let's just say AAF's design isn't very efficient or performance friendly, there is a high cost with doing a lot of stuff in Papyrus, Scaleform, and using HUDMenu event messaging.  It's far better to use Scaleform for a minimal UI, and Papyrus for a minimal binding to C++, and doing everyting in C++.  Basically what NAF does, which is why it is so much faster and you never seen erection morph issues (even with the "bad" version of LooksMenu) and zero stutter/lag on stage changes/start/stop/etc.  The problem with NAF is it hasn't been ported to NG/AE.

 

Creation Engine itself isn't great, it's largely single threaded where all the important stuff happens, i.e. Papyrus runs on the main thread, Scaleform has to synchronize to the main thread, and rendering happens on the main thread.  Yeah it's super flexible, but it has it's problems.  Papyrus is budgeted to maybe 20ms per frame, so script heavy stuff will start to lag.

After getting the outfit you put it on and get kidnapped, so Kells is prolly still walking along to save you while pretending to ride the high!! You might wanna go get your ass kidnapped. It is fun not to spoil anything but you get prosthetic arms and legs cause the gunner watch an old version of "The Box" and decided to emulate it.

Can anybody tell me what is supposed to happen after they put the Norita under for cosmetic surgery?  I ended up in Pre-war Sanctuary....in the bedroom.....there is no waypoint showing for Dolled UP.......there is nobody around.....so I'm not sure if something didn't kick off like it should have.  I found the the K clothes in the dresser.....been all around outside.....I guess I'll have to load just before the Train Station quest......that was my last save....:(

Head outside start looking around,have you been to prewar before?

I honestly think your whole playthrough has been trashed by setstages

I haven't used setstages.....so far I have fixed the problems and loaded before I have used it.  Yes I have been outside....and there is nobody around.....I am wearing what looks like some sort of school clothes.....I did hit sqt in the command line and there are only to NR quests....._NukaRide_Lyons and _NukaRide_Nira.....I was on Dolled Up and that is the last quest showing in the pip data......

Update to 7.07, load a save before the surgery. 👌
