I always read the ideas, but right now I've already finalized  what would be the NR7 plot. Since January I've been dealing with the most difficult part of development (scripting it...).

 

Regarding your idea about the parents, I do have an optional patch planned where, instead of the typical Nora and Nate intro, we'll have an exclusive intro with the protagonist at home. But, mind you, right now it's more of a wish than anything else, because I haven't looked into whether I can actually do it with my current knowledge.

 

When I think about it, I ask myself... What are we supposed to do? Yeah, have a normal day, then go to the vault, then wake up and find the parents dead. Is there room for something erotic? Perhaps an optional masturbation scene? Perhaps an encounter with Nate with minor ramifications? Because with what I have now, it's so bland that... would it be worth making an intro quest? Because there's nothing noteworthy. Nothing that we can bring into the main story.

 

Anyway, I'm back to my thing. Right now, I'm just focused on finishing the quests.

I agree with you. About the pre-war story with her parents. it can be like an island of calm that will keep your sanity without making her a sex toy. and experience. meetings at dad's parties with his father's friends, maybe Nate will spy on something and blackmail Norita so that she goes something like with Atlas. If you like something, you can postpone it for later.

I've looked at your log and here are a few things I can say:

Nuka Ride doesn't have absolute priority. Send it last in your load order; only its patches should have higher priority.

Don't use PRP.
Don't use Scrap Everything.
Or Armor Extended.
Or, more simply, don't use mods that I haven't included in my recommended list.

Dad having a barbecue with his friends (Nate included) sounds amazing. Helping out and all that.  😍

Based on your crash log, the error EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION at d3d11.dll+012C370 is a classic graphics driver/rendering crash. Since you are using a GTX 1660 SUPER, this is almost certainly the Weapon Debris bug common to all Nvidia RTX/GTX 16-series cards.

 

While you have the weapon debris fix not sure how effective that actually is (i had it as still got crashes that i was told were caused by it) so turning it off and trying again would be my first go to, you can turn it off either from the launcher (not recommended tbh) or by editting the ini

 

Steps to Amend the INI
  1. Locate the file: Go to your Documents folder > My Games > Fallout4.
  2. Open the file: Right-click Fallout4Prefs.ini and open it with Notepad.
  3. Find the [NVFlex] section: Press Ctrl + F and search for [NVFlex].
  4. Edit the values: Change the lines to match the following to fully disable the feature:
    ini
    [NVFlex]
    bNVFlexEnable=0
    bNVFlexInstanceDebris=0
    bNVFlexDrawDebris=0
    iQuality=0
    
    Use code with caution.
     
  5. Save and exit: If the settings keep resetting when you launch the game, right-click Fallout4Prefs.ini, select Properties, and check the Read-only box after saving. 
 
Why this is necessary
Fallout 4 uses Nvidia's Flex technology for these effects, which is completely incompatible with newer Turing-based cards (like your GTX 1660 SUPER or any RTX series card). Even with the Weapon Debris Crash Fix plugin you have installed, the engine may still fail if these INI values are not correctly initialised to "0".

At the very beginning of the path, Norita repeatedly mentions that her father's friends were drooling over her. Business sharks. I can imagine their preferences. Only the status of being the daughter of a business partner will protect Norita. Neit may turn out to be an accidental witness and blackmail Norita. She may also be able to relay the experience she gained to the Corsican.

What do you think about the idea with the collector and the radio?

You have to look for the clues, look around, and see if there's anything you can activate. 

 

Don't make me include things like the yellow paintings like Resident Evil does for the clues, I still have faith in humanity.

 

 

Hello, went back to a save just before that quest and put on the detective hat instead of running zombie hat. 

 

You 100% right. Did whole quest wo a single bug. It was a really good one, i was glad i did it proper!

Are there any known issues with the cooking stove in Dunmore Homestead being non-interactive?

 

I got stuck on _NR_Crops 51 - gathered the ingredients but was unable to interact with the stove. It simply had no interaction prompt at all. I worked around this by coc'ing to Sanctuary and using the cooking pot there to cook the omelettes, and then teleported back to Monique, at which point she successfully advanced the quest.

 

Out of curiosity, I also crafted a new cooking stove via the Sanctuary workshop just to see if maybe all cooking stoves were broken in my game, but nope - the newly crafted cooking stove worked fine. Double checked that the FormIDs on both stoves matched - they did. I'm pretty sure the Dunmore stove exists in the vanilla game so idk if Nuka Ride even touches it in any way. Kind of a bizarre issue regardless.

 

Anybody experience this before?

I checked my scripts, and the mod only puts purified water in that cooking stove; it doesn't touch it again after that. It's just a vanilla c. stove. 

 

I'm wondering if it's interactive when you first arrive? 

 

Another option that comes to mind is to click on the stove, type disable and then enable.

I wasn't convinced. At this point, all quests should advance the main story in one way or another. Except for the porno films, all quests should progress one of the various plot lines.

 

As side quests, they could work, but they need to be simplified (like finding balloons). Quests like that take weeks or months, and I'm not willing to put the story on hold for that.

It's broken on arrival, I restarted a couple times for testing. Disable/enable doesn't fix it, tried.

 

It's actually not just the stove... the mattress on the floor also doesn't have an interaction prompt so I have to sleep somewhere else. Everything else in the area can be interacted with though - the footlockers, chairs, dressers, doors, fridge, water pump, etc. all work fine; just the stove and mattress seem broken, and only in this one location as far as I can tell. Really strange.

 

It's most likely nothing to do with NR. I'll troubleshoot a bit more but at least there are workarounds.

Nevermind, I'm an idiot. I use Not My Settlement for Slavers and thought I had disabled it for my NR profile, but I didn't. Problem solved.

well i grew pissed to the point that i just nuked all of the mods and redownloaded only nuka ride ones and lo and behold all works like a charm. i couldn't be bothered to check all 180  mods one by one

That's why separate profiles in your mod manager are a must

I had been using version 6.7 until recently when I discovered the 6.9 update. However, after installing new voice files, I noticed that some dialogue voices were missing, with Charlotte being the most noticeable example. Could you please suggest some possible reasons for this?This is a great mod, and I want to fully experience it

Do you still have the old voice files activated? Maybe try removing those. I made it a habit to keep just the version I'm using activated.

I deleted the old version and reinstalled the new one, but the issue remained unresolved. Interestingly, when I activated the old files, only the newly added dialogues were missing voice, but after activating the new files, both Charlotte and Adolph were missing voice

Everything is fine. The only thing I can think of is that you have some patch editing Charlotte and Adolf.

I just tried playing this mod on my 20 hour save and I couldn't find duke anywhere around Vault 111, so I tried testing a new save to see if he would appear and he did. Is it not possible to play this on an existing save or is my save just glitched?

I think so. I think it needs a new game to start up the mod.

Is the sound of the Fountain REALLY loud for anyone else? It also couldn't be turned down by any of the settings. Can barely hear any conversation around there.

Edit: on v6.9.5 btw

Edit 2:  Did the 'Start Me Up' Norita start. Ran into Almost got killed by radrats and level 40 Longhorn  Brahmin.
