Update:

Ive got the bite mechanic to work kinda, it shows a visual effect and does a status effect for draining. Holding down the drain key does nothing, I can't for the life of me get an npc to try and drain me (perhaps the issue is we are both female?) So the mod does seem at the very least to be somewhat installed correctly or functioning. I just cant seem to get a visual effect from draining, is there a specific way you have to start the animation to engage in draining?

Ah ok. I didnt know of that mod. There are other Need related mods out there. RND is in focus along with iNeed.

 

I'll need to make sure I get everything right for the current mods in scope before I expand, but I am now tracking on Nexus Mods as an option.

SLDD does not make any changes to other mods scripts as far as I am aware. I try not to make any assumptions about which mods you have installed. Is it possible that the mod you mentioned in someway interacts with the original LE version of SLDDs scripts? If so, you could you try a game without CCAS and see if you crash?

Other mods use SLIF without this lag. And my suspicions as to the root cause are along the lines yours are. But going direct would defeat the purpose of SLIF, as I set up the various morphs to result in the shapes I find most pleasing. And I've seen mods that do direct morphing cause lag too. So let me look at that code again and maybe something will jump out at me.

Anyway, it looks like the problem with SLDD setting PSQ's drain to 0 is resolved, but it doesn't seem like the  slider is actually boosting the satiation rate or experience gained. I did see PSQ's drain get set to zero the first time, but it hasn't happened since. I've got debugs running, so if I see it happen again, I'll post logs.

Hmm. Ok, just need some information then. Just an FYI, orgasm events through SLSO dont happen for female on female events in SLDD. But draining should still happen. I imagine that your PC should have been losing health.

 

1. You mentioned you are playing as a female, the drainer is also a female. Is that drainer a futa?
2. Did you try kiss scene with her as a standard drainer (enhance NPC drain not checked)
3. Do you have drain blood turned on?
4. Which version of Skyrim are you on? LE, SE, or AE
5. Which version of SLDD? Default, Vampiric Thirst, Better Vampires, or Sancrosanct.
6. What is your drain speed? And is manual drain enabled?

 

Another hotfix update is being worked on. But in the meantime I can probably help with your issue.

Ah good point, I should just work through SLIF where possible since the player can edit sliders there instead. I have it too and enjoy using it with MME. Ill retest PSQ on mine with the logs active too. Maybe somewhere along the lines, the sldd var is being reset to -1.0 or 0 before re-enabling the PSQ variable back to its original state.

2. I have not tried the kiss scene but i would assume it works given that bite works

3. drain blood was off

4. SE, Pre AE update

5. default

6. manual drain is enabled and the speed is the default, 34

Ah yes if i follow the link on the mod page of Content consumer (it has a section for the mod it link to) it does go to the og Deadly Drain i actually didnt know both would have a link i just happen to create a new game after installing your deadly drain and stumble across the option.

CCAS just fires the modevent "HoSLDD_GivePlayerPowers" - so as long as this incarnation of the mod still listens for that, it should still work.

Hmm... well, given that that's how SLDD itself gives the player the powers, it sounds like you might have a problem with SLDD overall.

 

When you're in the starting cell from ASLAL, if you go into the SLDD MCM and give yourself powers, does it also CTD?

I believe i activated that since i think that what it says to do on sldd or something I don't remember where i read to set the thing but i did before going on the bed so yes that does CTD

So I am having some trouble with getting the settings right for what I'm trying to achieve, unless what I'm trying to do is just impossible.

 

So these are my settings:

 

I want it so that it drains to death based on weather or not I toggle the Allow Death Drain Hotkey.  So basically what happens now is sex starts > i hit the toggle and get the "ill spare my victim this time" message > proceed to climax stage and drain occurs > animation ends > victim dies even though i toggled to spare.

Can anyone tell me what settings i need to change or is it not possible.

 

Edit: forgot to mention I have checked my PSQ settings and allow death is off.

 

Edit 2: Nevermind, realized it was the Victim Death from Orgasm (or so it seams), I had assumed it was required for it to work, oops.

OK, so after messing about for a few days, I've come to the conclusion that the code works. The problem is script lag. The reason I say this is that when the increase satiation option is on in DD, PSQ sometimes drains and sometimes doesn't. When PSQ fails to drain, the PSQ drain setting is always at zero at the end of the animation but it eventually resets to the default without me doing anything. Whether this is related to the lag that happens when physical drain is enabled or not, I'm not sure. I have, after all, rarely met a script heavy mod that I didn't love.

I'm trying to use physical drain to shrink/grow the cock and balls of some male NPC's but it's not working, their genitals mesh seems to update (briefly dissapears then reappears in less than a second), but they are still the same size. It works fine on my male player character, when I'm using draining on an NPC mine increases and when giving to NPC mine decreases, but the NPC's stay the exact same size.

 

I've tried: absorb beauty, give beauty, auto drain and manual drain during sex scenes.

I've checked the physical drain options in MCM, made sure that it's enabled and that victim shrinking when draining is enabled.

 

Edit: I've managed to fix it by adding GenitalsScrotumLag and GenitalsLag01 to PhysicalDrain.json.

hey im having small problem here with psq and better vampires vampire feeding doesnt actually register for some reason did anyone managed to make this mod work with psq + better vampires if so how did u managed to solve feedings not registering in better vampires it has 666 in status tab says its not using better vampires scripts i have hybrid option on in psq mcm

Hey, for some reason my follower doesn't drain to death even though she's Level 3. When she's done, the NPC just enters Defeat's trauma state. I'm using the default version on SE pre-AE update.

Hey , I'm using 3BA body and I'm not gaining any size from psychial drain + npc don't schrink , only changes to draugr and dies.

I'm somewhat lost on how the draining to death function and keys work. No matter what level I set my character to the drain to death hotkey doesn't do anything. It'll tell me that I'll spare someone only to kill them after the orgasms. Or if I want to kill someone and I press the key I'll see the text saying I'll kill them but they still live. Whether I have the drain to death or orgasm to death options enabled doesn't make a difference either, just the player drain level.
