EDIT: basically it is like this: when Naked Defeat spams a "incomaptible hairstyle" it is most likely that the naming convention in the ESP is wrong (a problem I first found out about when messsing with wet function and high poly head). you can check in the ESP via TESVedit for example. The Headparts EditorID and Name should be the same exactly. For example: EditorID: _Dint_SG 1234 Name: SG 1234 will not work. I am looking for a workaround here that does NOT require me to edit the ESP file, so maybe indeed you need to find out the EditorID of the hairstyle instead of the name. Further testing is required and I keep you posted. Just had some ideas, but I m tired In the meantime, if you are familiar with reading ESP via TESVedit, CK or similar, try to set the "EditorID" of the hairstyle you want from the ESP instead of the name. Is it possible to have it just bind the player instead of using furniture as an option? And not using DD stuff... just like, if we look back at SexLab Submit, the character was always just bound with rope cuffs and then squirmed to try and get free. Just curious if this would be something feasible as an option. Thanks!

Thanks! two options: 1. set "Captivity chance" to 0% to never have furniture or DD events 2. set "Scenario Chance to 100%" and "Captivity Chance" to whatever you want, then you will only have cuffs or yoke as escape game. So there is some room for customization. 1

Lisette11 Posted November 5, 2021 Posted November 5, 2021 When I get trapped in a contraption or tied up, my character sometimes freezes up, the NPCs go on around me not doing anything. Latest happened when I was in the middle of wriggling free. I had just gotten the "try wriggling one more time" message and then my PC just stopped responding. Any advice?

Any advice? can you clarify a bit what is really happening? what means "freezing up"? when that message is playing ""try wriggling one more time" you have to press the wiggle key (space by default) one more time and the PC should break free from the furniture. also make sure you have "show debug messages" disabled

The PC just stays perfectly still and no NPC does anything to me. It doesn't happen nearly every time, but enough to be really annoying, the only solution I have came up with is going back to an earlier save. Also, a few times a furniture appears along with the appropriate message, but I won't be tied to it. A couple f times that has frozen the PC as well. Please try to reproduce this issue and upload a papyrus.log file here so I can have a look, maybe I can see something. KS hairdos is absolutly unrelated with any of this, at least I am quite sure about that. Some ideas I have: - you have the wrong version of ZAP installed (needs 8+) - you have set DDe chance to above 0% but you do not have DDequip installed (or maybe even Devious Devices) - forced bathing is selected but you did not install golden showers SLAL pack (in download section). please make sure you read all info and install everything in order and then try to see if this issue still remains in all cases, pressing "K" during that situation should still end the mod, hmm.

But to effectively help, they need to know some details beyond "this is a buggy mess." Because with Skyirm mods, and with SL mods, there are a lot of moving pieces and all sorts of things can be wrong and "this is a buggy mess" provides exactly zero clues as to what's happening in your game. On top of that, if you want help, you're also more likely to get a useful response if you show some basic manners rather than just showing up and shitting on things. Maybe that's how you talk to your parents or to the people at the fast food place where you buy your dinner. Maybe that gets you the results you want from them, but that ain't how things work around here. Nymra has worked hard on this mod - and continues to work on trying to fix and improve things. Showing up in a thread and being aggressively vague and petulant about whatever is wrong in your specific game helps no one. What is the behaviour you're seeing? What do your papyrus logs say? Lost a fight vs some Rieklings, I killed it in the same moment I entered bleedout. But no ghost and also the guard with me in the fight (:rolleyes:) was added as attacker, I got back up and no scene and I moved on. At that point MME and my needs mod stopped working what I didnt knew for some time. Defeat still worked but my mods were broken at that point and that debug/submit/combo button didnt work either. So I had to scrap 2 hours of savegames and reload a save before that Riekling fight. Other Defeat mods break occasionally too but they got powerfull debug tools and atleast they don't break other mods. I had it several times know that I killed my attacker and got knocked down while I had a follower with me, which then ofcourse was also knocked down for no reason. So ghosts spawned or my dog decided to rape my PC. Or my PC got hit by an arrow and party down yay... I really wish there was no immediate party knockdown, but bleedout until the fight really is completed. Whoever wants that silly Rape Party "feature" can use it, but if the scenes should trigger after the fight is concluded and only if the opposite party wins, could prevent many of those issues. Otherwise, cool mod - as always ?

I'll try. Thanks for trying to help. I'm still relatively new to modding and this is the first time I have tried to access the papyrus log. I have no interest in creating mods, I just play. All the technical basic mods were given to me by a friend because I couldn't figure it out such as Papyrus, ENB, and Engine fix. I know how t update them, after some trial and error, but that's it.

I know how t update them, after some trial and error, but that's it. creating papyrus logs is one of many skyrim essentials for mod users. it has nothing to do with making mods. making your mod profile work can be a similarly challenging tasks and if you want to suceed you need some technical knowledge and tools or you will just stack problems with no possibility of ever solving them on your own. So no matter who gave you the mods, I can only suggest trying to dig through it. You can find some guides in this board or elsewhere online (like youtube) that provide step by step explanations. just hit google with keywords ^^ 1
