Dont Tell My Parents Posted July 19, 2024 Posted July 19, 2024 I really want to use this but it's incompatible with Junk to Components which uses space on workbenches to scrap junk. I'm not sure how to move it to another key. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/47267
theblindbat Posted January 28, 2025 Posted January 28, 2025 Any chance for a non-hard requirement version? That can recognize any combination of DD, KFT, or RH installations?

That can recognize any combination of DD, KFT, or RH installations? It's on my to-do list, but it's not an easy or quick change. The core functions and logic need to be substantially modified to accomodate a scenario that no longer takes DD for granted. Major updates induce a lot of potential for bugs, which means a lot of testing on my end. So... yes, at some point, when I find the right time and motivation.
Franco Cozzo Posted June 13, 2025 Posted June 13, 2025 Are you able to add the DD_kw_ItemType_WristCuffsDisconnected keyword so "disconnected" cuffs can be detected and removed by your mod in a future update?

Even if I add this keyword (and it's a bit of a pain to add separately), there will be other unresolved issues. Those disconnected wristcuffs lack DD's normal item type keyword, so several of DD's API functions won't work on them... including the RemoveAllGenericDevices function, which is kind of important. In my opinion, the cleanest solution is to add DD_kw_ItemType_WristCuffs to the disconnected cuffs. And here's the part where I was going to recommend the patch that got released a few days ago doing exactly that. Then I realized you're the author and probably don't need to be told about your own work. 😅 Are you still seeing cuff removal problems even with your patch? Edited June 13, 2025 by spicydoritos 1

The patch is working for me at least, but I saw I think in Sex Attributes code or some other mod that connected wrist cuffs will stop terminals and etc being used and since the cuffs are disconnected it shouldn't do that, so just a little potential imersion breaking down the line for me/others. I did try patch your mod / SA originally but couldnt figure out how to do it and kept getting papyrus compile errors since I don't know what I'm actually doing. Anyway it is what it is I guess.
forecep Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Ran into an issue where it's not unlocking leg restraints. Took off all other devices but left them on.

If the issue happens consistently, please post a papyrus log from a session with the failed removal attempt, and preferably a screencap of the exact item. I'll see if anything jumps out.
