Vyxenne Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 I recently added several (about 5) mostly-consensual animation packs to my SL installation- I went down the list on @tasairis's SSE Compatibility page and installed the ones that did NOT have a tick in the aggressive/bondage/non-consensual/non-human check boxes. Now, my entire game is brand new again! For the first time in years, Skyrim is surprising me several times a night. Overall, the animations are higher-quality, more imaginative, more immersive and much better aligned than the ones I've grown to have a love-hate relationship with in the years since I discovered SexLab Framework. Here's an example encounter from this week- I cast the Irresistibly Attractive spells on the Archmage and myself while we were standing around by the statue discussing his erection and my pokies, and then... Well sure, OK, I guess I could mglblmftp bbpglbdmbmk... But wait, I haven't even taken my dress o... offfffffffffffff..... mmmmmmmm! Or not, not is good too... mmmmm, oooh, ahhhh... A corner chair? How in Sweet Mother Dibella's name did that get he- heeer... heeeeeeeEEEEEEEEE... By the Nine, don't stop! Sir... I think I'm arriving.... So thank you for the new (to me) animations, @3jiou and @Ayasato and @dogma and @mike24 and MilkySLAL (via @Pfiffy) and @NCK30 and MasterMike (via @Pfiffy)!!! 3

Now, my entire game is brand new again! For the first time in years, Skyrim is surprising me several times a night. Note that just because it says Aggressive or Animal doesn't mean all the animations are like that. If you have the time and space, some of those also have a good number of consensual humanoid-only animations; you'd have to go through the lists in the SLAL MCM and check just the ones you want, of course. Especially true for the larger packs, as more animations means more variety. (that said, FunnyBizness's is probably 95% aggressive, so you might want to skip that. but Billyy's has separate human and creature downloads)
Beef Cheeks Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 If you don't want the FNIS animations cluttering up your FNIS count, you can technically edit all the SLAL json's and FNIS lists to remove the animations you don't want, then just delete the related animation files. If you use creature animations, make sure you do this for them in the relevant creature folder AND the character folder, as the creature folders only contain animations for the creature nif's. This will produce warnings in FNIS that behaviors are included for non-existent animations. But since SLAL animations never fire off unless SexLab has them registered, then there's no harm really. They won't get picked up by SLAL, so they won't get registered. It IS a little work, however, especially since you have to do it for every SLAL pack update. I use MO2 to compare what animation files are missing in comparison to the new version, and cross-reference the new animations listed on the mod author's main posts. Of course, it's expected that users reading this should only do this if they know what they're doing and won't cry to the mod authors for help. I'm not providing a step-by-step guide because of this.

PRNDL! ************************************************************************************** EDIT to totally negate my previous gleeful response: It would appear that I am crazy. Nuts. Run right 'round the bend. <Other euphemisms as required> There are two Billyy's SLAL packs on offer on Pfiffy's Billyy's SLAL SE Conversion page- Version 2.82 and version 2.91. Neither one is named or otherwise identified as being Human or non-Human, so, driven solely by my OCD being the overachiever that I am, I downloaded both of them so that I could try to ascertain for myself which was the Critter one and which was the Humanoids one. Here is the result of my in-depth analysis (my favorite kind): It seems that the two downloads are identical in every respect except one: several of the folders in 2.91 are slightly larger than the corresponding ones in 2.82. This may be due to the added ZAZ Textures that @Pfiffy talks about on the download page. However, and this is the key point of this post (you knew I'd get there eventually, right? RIGHT?), both downloads appear to contain Creature and Human animations. Which is fine, I'm marginally conversant with perfectly capable of unregistering/suppressing animations. I just wanted to let you know that I appear to have been mistaken (I offer no excuses for how it happened) when I erroneously interpreted your statement "Billyy's has separate human and creature downloads" to mean that Billyy's has separate human and creature downloads. Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa! *begins flagellating herself for her egregious indiscretion but realizes as her orgasm begins that she's enjoying it*

hana120 Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 Decidedly, Vyxenne. ? You are impossible. ? Sleeping with the archmage, after all. ? I'm guessing all the big names in Skyrim have gone through the motions with you. ? 1

So yeah, you're right, my bad: it's not Billyy but actually Anubs and BakaFactory that are separated. (Though Billyy's are grouped by category into multiple SLAL packs, so that could be helpful.)

XD If the laugh is because you don't know, no harm ❤️ The laugh is derision and scorn aimed at anyone who actually imagines very many mod users bother to read even one word of a mod's description, requirements or installation instructions. Just last week, on my YunDao Wigs page on the SSE Nexus, someone posted their dismay that they were (unexpetedly to him, discovered only after installing them and then trying to find them in RM) wigs and not Racemenu-selectable headparts. In the SkyUI-SE page, people complain daily about "SkyUI bugs" that are actually their SKSE64 installation errors (usually, failure to install the scripts or installing the scripts into the Data subdirectory instead of in Data\Scripts) despite numerous posts by me and DarkDominion with crystal-clear instructions on how to install SKSE64 and how then to launch the game correctly AND how to add Skyrim.esm as a Master to SkyUI_SE.esp since the SkyUI Team didn't do it and it causes the Bethesda launcher to disable the plugin on launch if certain procedures are not used Just today here on LL, someone posted that SexLab animations aren't working, actors just stand there motionless while the sound effects play. Another user suggested runing GenerateFNISforUsers.exe, and that solved the problem. I do not understand how it is possible to read the SLF description and requirements and not know to run FNIS. So the point of my derisive, mocking laughter was to sympathize with mod authors in general. 7 hours ago, XenoDrake said: Also, get the SE version download from Billy's LE post directly. Surely if he knew about this, he wouldn't still be linking folks to the obsolete files, would he? Well, WOULD HE? I think not. There's got to be some mistake. *scurries off to snag the newer files, mentally thanking XeroxDuck for the tip* 1

Too hard to try to keep track of/pass judgment on what mod conversions are obsolete. Note that I do link to the original "source" for most of them, and Billyy is also one of the more active animators with a new release every... month or so? Something like that. That said, I could add a little disclaimer above that one table.

Yep, I saw that @Billyy is very active on his own download page once @XenoDrake ? gave me a link to it- I hadn't known it existed before that. I just converted his latest pack (v4.4) to SSE and tested it last night, no issues so far. Maybe if I sent it to him, he'd like to put it on his Download page.

It's in someone's nature if they care more about what they want than they do bothering a mod author with their petty request before they even do a small amount of research. As I tell EVERYONE that sees me mod skyrim and want to get into it: This isn't a thing you just pop in mods and go. You need to research and have good troubleshooting skills, as you are just going to frustrate yourself and everyone else if you aren't willing to put 5-10x the amount of time and effort into modding it as playing it. And I think tasairis only missed it because it was JUST recently added by Billyy. He didn't originally add the SE versions. But I still would have pointed to it because SLAL packs are the easiest things to convert to SSE. They're always one-click convert in Cathedral Assets Optimizer. And CAO has a "multi-mod" option that generally is perfect for SLAL packs with FOMODs that have separate folders for options. It can do all the folders at once. Also I will have to use that name some time.

For example, that's how @DarkDominion became DorkDumbOnion one dark and stormy night a couple of years ago on the Nexus. So far, all of my victims have shown a remarkably good sense of humor about it.
