The PAH addon "Diary of Mine" does NOT work in VR contrary to what is written in the post. Any animation that makes the protagonist punish an NPC will spin the player and break first person. I used FNIS to update the animations.

 

Diary of Mine would need a no spin patch like :

Anyone knows if Yamete REDUX is compatible with Skyrim VR?

I'm having some trouble getting Naked Defeat to work. FNIS highlights the HumanDoggy animations are not compatible with the VR versions of requirements and breaks the game. List doesn't mention any patches to fix it so do I just find and delete the animation?  Would this crash the game when the game tries to call for it?

Use Nemesis Animation. Because of VR fnis is incompatible with sexlab framework so you can use Nemesis is working

Ah, so that explains why only ZAZ animations are triggering and the debug spells aren't working either.

 

So with Nemesis, is there anything I need to be aware of? Eg, installation quirks, compatibility with other SL mods, etc.

I'm sorry, FNIS is compatibility with Sexlab framework and ZAZ animation is working perfect no mistake i installed skyrim vr mods more than 280 files and plugins active 133

Probably? I'm currently trying it out as a defeat substitute. So far no crashes but the surrender features hasn't worked yet. Though I don't know if that was due to me fucking around with my LO and not starting a new save.

During regular play I had no issues.

 

 

On another note. The most recent version of PapyrusUtil for VR has an issue with ScanCellNPCs() functions. Calling those results in an immediate crash. We found this here: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/198552-slaverun-enforcer-standsalone/page/21/#comment-3947752

The author for slaverun-enforcer-standsalone fixed this for his mod. Others are still depending on those functions and are crashing.

 

Devious Enchanted Chests (DEC) is also one of them. https://www.loverslab.com/topic/37384-deviously-enchanted-chests/?do=findComment&comment=3965376

So currently it isn't compatible.

Everything is well 

No worries, I was able to sort things out (sort of) XD

 

So I was able to fix the missing animation issue, as it appears not all the animations were registered properly. I'm not sure if that's a VR issue or I missed something in the steps, but I was able to use Animation Loader to load the Anubs animation sets and worked around the issue.

Putting this here so I may hopefully save somebody troubleshooting time.

Don't let anything overwrite the SL VR patches or animations can break, like you aren't locked into the animation and your hands go wild. In my case Sexlab Cum Overlay was overwriting one of them and it broke everything. Fixed by moving the patches above it.

Why does every animation pack cause me to spin in first person (even if I have 3rd person/any other option enabled, it will put me in 1st person and start spinning). It does this with every version of Zaz and their respective spin patches, I've already tested them. That, and every animation mod I've tried so far. When I played for the first time a few weeks ago things were fine however now it's suddenly broken like this, I didn't even have the spin patches installed back then so no clue how it even worked and why it's broken now. I don't see any significant mod overwrites either.

Anyone have/had a similar issue?

EDIT: Okay literally a few minutes later I see the reply above, yeah, DO NOT let anything overwrite the SL VR Patch, I let Privacy overwrite it and didn't think much of it but turns out it was the cause of all of my issues..

Is Deviously Cursed Loot 9 working? Modpage description doesnt link to both patches needed, and a quick look at my file in Resave shows it's the only mod that seems to be causing issues

 

 

 

I get Suspended stacks like this one pretty much on repeat (with some variation) that multiply until the save becomes unplayable. Already at 45 suspended stacks 5 minutes into a new save

How do you people deal with hotkeys? I've read something about using voice command mods instead of using up the extremly valuable controller buttons but is there a better way?

Since VRIK is a must for SkyrimVR, I use VRIK's gestures to implement hotkeys.  Even then, you're limited to 8 so I have to double some up but they work.

Oh right, I tried using them before but had problems activating each gesture so it completely slipped my mind. Thanks for the reminder! Guess I will have to try harder to get each gesture right

Keep in view UIExtensions with Wheel menus also work in VR so mods like Wartimes, Maria Eden etc.. you can use VRIK to hotkey those menu's to pop up.

The only thing you need to be aware of is that you need to make sure the Skyrim screen is active on your PC (ie: you've clicked a mouse on it) and not hiding behind another screen otherwise the menus won't pop up.

Ok I've tried it out and gestures seem to work well as hotkeys. I just have to go into the virtual desktop and choose 1-8 there. Would be a lot nicer if I could do it in game but I can live with that. Unfortunately I also found out that the sexlab tools matchmaker function doesn't work at all for me. It all works until the point where I have input the number of actors in the animation. I can't write anything or get out of that menu resulting in me having to close the game. I have tried it both in game, in the virtual desktop and even directly on my pc but the menu is completely unresponsive. Is it the same for others or only me?

Yes I have that issue if a box comes comes up asking you to input something from the keyboard. Can't type anything, or cancel out so a close of the game is the only way forward. 

 

I believe there is a virtual keyboard mod for Skyrim VR (and is certainly possible since one pops up in racemenu) but I haven't investigated any further to see if that can resolve the issue.

I have looked around a bit and it seems to be a UIextensions problem. I haven't tried it yet but but apparently writing "hidemenu custommenu" in the console will get you out of the input box. Might be useful if you get there by accident. 

Mass matchmaker works pretty well in vr so I'll just use SL tools for picking animations.

SexLab SexLife SE is shown as compatible, but causes random CTD without any errors in the logs. Is anyone experiencing the same thing?

 

Edit: managed to get it working by installing another version of this mod (Attrubites & AttributesMyScene) and not integrating with SOS, which by the way crashed immediately as i clicked on 'Revealing' on its MCM.

The SOS issue got resolved by deleting the "SOS: Gender Addon" plugin, but now the SexLife MCM pages randomly CTD. Either i screwed up somewhere, or it is incompatible. This is finicky at best.

I am having the same issue. Additionally, if I ever try to change rape values in the Consequences submenu for DCL, or try to click in the the system menu, it freezes the entire mod menus for all mods even after a reload or exiting to main menu. Also, it seems a lot of DCL options are activated even when the menu says otherwise.

So i am trying to get SGO4 Integration Fork 1.7.5.1 to work in vr together with vrik actions, i allready asked here

but maybe somebody here has ideas about it as well.

I copied the relevant changes from above to the .psc files in SGO4 Integration Fork. I can get animations to play but after that the character is locked and cant move anywhere else. Any pointers on how this can be fixed?

Having a issue starting the game (new to modding vr), when ever i try starting the game it crashes and then in vortex it says "PapyrusUtil.dll (sexlabframeworkse_v163_beta8):reported as incompatible during query" as well as "sexlabutil.dll (sexlabframeworkse_v163_beta8):reported as incompatible during query"

 

Not entirely sure what to do with that info and have been trying those mods as well as some others for about a hour but i dont think im smart enough to figure it out.

PapyrusUtil VR 3.6b

PapyrusUtil SE 3.9

and worth having Papyrus Extender 5.5.0 and Papryus Extender VR 5.5.0 in your load order .. Load the papyrus stuff after Sexlab install
