I had a 3800x and 6080xt and that was good a few years ago. Probably could be great now. x3d chips I found to benifit vr skyrim smoothness when I updated the cpu. 1

I will link to your post in the OP and change Estrus' designation to very buggy! On 2/18/2026 at 6:03 AM, AceKalibur said: 2026 now. still having this problem. You can prevent CTD on egg laying in Estrus Chaurus by disabling Fluids toggle on Animations page in its MCM
GenericNPC Posted Thursday at 11:05 PM Posted Thursday at 11:05 PM Apparently there is a mod that adds VR support for Acheron: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/175217 Many mods have Acheron as a dependency - do they work in VR now?

Hard to say without looking at each of these mods individually. If Archeron was the only blocker, then yes, I'd guess so. Most of the time you only need to look at two things Do they come with a .dll file? This needs to be either compiled specifically for VR, or (more commonly now) with CommonLibSSE-NG which basically supports all game versions. Do they change any UI stuff? Button interactions, menus, bars etc. (other than using a vr-compatible framework) and most of the time you're out of luck. The mod should still run, but you will be missing those elements/interactions. Same goes of course with every other mod it lists as a requirement. Please correct me if I'm wrong or I missed something...
