Lamadi Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 Dayng, I thought that topic had gone by completely unnoticed! I'll be sure to add this to my mod list next time I boot up Starbound! I think what I might've done wrong was not reaching out to anybody. I assume most modders are paying more attention to their own threads and comments than what goes on outside them. Really glad someone capable took it upon themselves to do it at least. PS: Which ones need ceiling anchors? I made them all with the intention of sticking to a background wall. 3

She's still sticking out of the wall, though I see how I did some poor design choices on that one so I understand how it might have been misinterpreted. Excellent work anyway. I see you used more or less the same approach I used the first time I tried modding in one of these, though I have no idea how to make a shop item. Also, what item did you reverse engineer? I'm just wondering because there's background noise coming from the shop object. It just got me thinking whether or not it'd be possible to get some moaning noises from porn / hentai clips and add custom background sounds to the objects. Also, quick reply because I have no life. But that goes for everyone nowadays apparently.

At some point I considered making duplicates of all the sprites, recoloring the tentacles to work with the slime color scheme, but I've shelved that idea for the time being because there was only one block in the slime color scheme, and six matching the current lineup. Plus, the assets are still open-source, so anyone can make an addon for that purpose if they want to. A more dedicated light source object(s) are in the works but I've hit some weird computer problems which have halted the development. Strange thing is they seem to have fixed themselves, but I'm afraid it's too early to tell at this point. Computer issues have a tendency to shit me in the face in really horrific ways.

If you put a brighter light source near it you won't notice the flickering anymore or you could avoid any objects with a helmet/visor as only those have the flickering effect. Switches, buttons, proximity sensors and consoles (basically a switch, but animates when on) I doubt I'll ever make something as advanced as the door again though. That nearly burnt me out. Speaking of: It seems I jinxed it badly with my previous post, and the computer issues got way worse. I'm just gambling on the shit not crashing before I post this. Potent Tentacle Secretion which lasts 1600 seconds (=26 minutes) 5 minutes There was a disagreement on the length of the nude debuff duration and we compromised by adding both, a short and long duration fluid. Lamadi Posted June 12, 2021 Posted June 12, 2021 (edited) Yeah, the fluid texture is also pretty broken. It looks strange when placed in a large area / volume. I must have made a miscalculation when lining up the textures when testing if they looked good in a tiled format. I'll fix that as soon as my PC is remedied to the point where it can start any Adobe program without fucking itself to death.
