There is an AE alpha: https://github.com/Gaz-tec/Devourment-Refactor/releases

Or you can downgrade your game with the unofficial downgrade patcher.

Ok so I installed it using mod organizer and I am getting this error in fnis   Warning: Inconsistent mod Devourment. >>Number of animations differs between FNIS List (9) and corresponding behavior file (7)<< Everything should be installed correctly

It's nothing to worry about. Just a consequence of using alpha mods.

Apologies if this was asked before, but is the latest version of the mod found here compatible with the last version of Skyrim before the AE version? Also are some of the files found on GitHub compatible with Pre-AE Skyrim and the mod version found here? Currently trying to fix a longstanding bug where the game crashes if there are stomach contents (doesn't matter what) held for a long period of time. I've had a look at the crash log and a file called DevourmentManager.psc which was brought up in the crash log. I don't fully understand what's happening, are predators getting purged incorrectly? I've set the MCM so the player is the only predator that exists in the world btw.

Crash log attached below.

Is it just me, or does the belly break after a long time? With a fresh save, the belly is all good. But after a long play time, it stops showing up at all. I can take an outfit off and the belly shows up again, but it's no longer dynamic, so it will not shrink over time. If I put an outfit back on, it will move on a stage or two, but it gets stuck again. I'm using AE edition, so it might be a Bethesda issue... I'm using the latest from https://github.com/Gaz-tec/Devourment-Refactor/releases/tag/alpha

I've detailed this here before, but it's a racemenu issue in AE. You won't have it of you use armour conversions and morph bellies.

Is this mod now complete? As in no more updates for the SE version, or are you guys working on getting the AE version out of BETA

Yeah, the SE version is pretty much complete. Future work looks like all being in AE and VR.

Hey, I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but im having issues with consoleutilsse being detected. And while i can enter dialogue about vore with npc's, their replies arent subtitled, so they just blankly stare at me. Are the two related, and how do i fix it?

Man, I typed up a whole response to this. Guess I forgot to submit it??

They aren't related, the first thing is just an AE thing. It doesn't affect anything.

As for the second part, go turn on Dialogue Subtitles in the game itself ?

I'm still getting crashes, keep getting very similar logs about NPC hands or whatever. Crash can occur within 0 to 30 seconds of swallowing something. I don't know what to do about this, I've installed this mod closely following Forgetful's guide. Sent more attachments.

Anyone got a fix for this? It's starting to get frustrating.

well chief if all ur crashes mention hands and forearms im gonna say the cause is probably the hands or forearms

I once had a crash like this; it was caused by a character on screen whose appearance relied on assets from a mod that was not enabled at the time.

There's only a few mods I can think of that are editing those. The XMP skeleton, CBBE, or maybe even FNIS? I have those three, but I'd imagine they're very popular anyway.

FNIS I have a patch enabled called 'Skeleton Arm Fix' because certain animations like blocking and spell casting are broken without it (they don't play the animations at all). I noticed the logs keep pointing to the left hand or forearm, and saw on another thread that the skeleton arm fix affects only the left arm. Really hoping it's not this because there's no alternatives that I know of, and FNIS is needed by some of the mods I use.

I had an addon to XMP which edited the wrists and ankles of the skeleton, called "Better Female wrists hands ankles and leg ratio twists for XPMSSE" (long name). I've since uninstalled that and need to see if that makes any difference.

I had a crash recently, but it seemed completely unrelated to Devourment, so no need to post the log I think.

I got a tiny question, in Oldrim version of this mod you were able to continue playing as the character that ate you, is this still a thing in this version?

In the SE version yes, though it is and always has been glitchy in every version. There's also a Phylactery perk which lets you reform - a systematically superior choice.

I have a problem.

I cant devour npc.

it only says when i try that "Undead flesh cant be digested". But the problem lies in that the npc are not undead.

If you're on SE, then you're missing LibFire. If you're on AE, then you're using a version of Refactor meant for SE.
