Its true i dont care if i sound to someone like a jerk because i know im not. And i said i dont care how things sound to people who want to misinterpret them. If creator cares about what should be created then he should consider asking himself why im saying what im saying. Asking why is not what many people do today instead they know everything in advance.

Ofcourse, but some people are unhappy because time and effort are wasted put into something that don't fit their criteria of a good mesh. Other people might want these mesh, but because it does not suit their taste, they don't want it done. They won't be contented if they can't dictate the creators.
Sunspot2 Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Anyway, it's my time to waste. Also, the nude version I'm making is only "inspired" by the one previously uploaded here. The mesh I'm working is completely new (except for the human part of the mesh). To be honest, what intrigued me about all this was the mesh created by EB, the nude mesh. Not specially because is a nude mesh, but I never thought of a "nude" mermaid till I saw this mesh. I thought it was new and different. When I read the part where people were saying they didn't had a working weight slider for the mermaid, I thought: "I can easily fit that tail in a pair of different bodies and make a weight slider for these guys, it will be fun to play with that mesh in 3ds!". But I didn't liked the end result. As firepower02 started helping me with the mod I'm working, I started developing a new mermaid and merman body for him. The new tail didn't started from EB mesh, i started it with a tube, that I made into a skirt and so on. And he is not interested in the nude version at all, but others are. And the nude version is what made the mesh interesting for me to work. Not that I will play the game with it. I don't really have interest in playing the game with mermaids, nude or prude. Fairies on the other hand...

There are lots of mods that started with a good idea and got sidetracked by something unrelated, things got way to complex and mod died. You are right it is your time to waste so go for it, but i wouldn't be surprised if you never finish it folowing that route. You not being interested in mermaids only adds to that. I on the other hand am just wasting my time here if thats the case so good luck with your work.

I took a look at the model in blender and had a rather bizzare if not fun idea. As a typical male with raging hormones, my first impression was, "mermaids, HELL YES, how do I fuck them" ahhhh I betray my gender with my base desires. That being said I thought to myself, well how would this work? I mean I have no idea how mermaids in lore fashion, uhhhh, poop, pee or have sex. I mean I don't think a horny Nord male will just go down to the river and wrangle a mermaid just to rip her tail off and find a normal woman with legs underneath. However what if we had the present mesh with a bit of a tweak. Have the tail section an equipped piece of clothing and the basemesh almost identical except for either a semi developed female lower region with buttocks and genitalia or just add the genitalia, vagina on front and anus on back. The idea would be for instance if you are using a mod like Defeat, once you fight one you can sexually assault it by, uhhh, removing her 'sheath' and porking her. I guess in lore fashion either they would have there genitalia exposed or there would be some sort of covering or sheath that would keep forgein objects and dirt out of their nethers. Just an idea and again sorry if this is a repost. If it IS a repost then consider this an endorsement for the idea. Either way I think this is a fantastic bit of work.

firepower02 Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Try the nexus. Sunspot has planned a bonus mermaid outfit. If we can't find a mermaid animator, the mermaids will be confined in water, which I'm sure you don't want, but is bearable with me.

Ocourse we don't have land animations, so they look unnatural on land. christ, i can see why EB walked the fuck out of this project. Did he? He actually finished his exposed ass and genitals mermaid and it's up on his website.
