bobgasyon Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 can we get patch notes when this mod is updated? So that way I know when to redownload and replace the file and what new functionality is added, especially seeing as its becoming a core mod in the modding scene here
dragonite888 Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Thanks for the great mod! Is there any other sex animations you made or going to make?
misima Posted May 15, 2021 Posted May 15, 2021 Now characters just move up from where I can see them, when I press icon. How to fix it. Why there is no quide and anythnig? Just buggy mod. How do I install male and female archives. Any manual?

LeoToolstoy Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 so i downloaded and installed the mod plus other necessary mods because i really liked the height and weight feature in the mod rather than the animations. i did not use it much because it reworks the prowess = muscles feature from the base game that i actually like and the mod crashes the game for me if i try to use the in game portrait editor from the command console i appreciate the effort that went into this though and would be happy to help the mod maker test things out. i can maybe inform the creator about bugs or other things in the future and be of service ?
bobgasyon Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 which mods use this mod for animated or at minimum still posed sex scenes at present/how do i activate them? any eta on a fix for so that futas can have varied penis sizes again like they were on Simple Shafts for her + erection for them? I want to know when to redownload this mod for that
Bustanut2 Posted May 25, 2021 Posted May 25, 2021 Hey guys, I dont know how to combine the 3 files so any help on that would be appreciated 1
tylacilia Posted May 28, 2021 Posted May 28, 2021 Well after playing with my mods folders for about....2 hours I cant figure it out. I threw all the files in the GFX folder (where its supposedly suppose to go) and it just doesn't seem to do anything. Im not great at modding things so anyone got a step by step? I checked Carnalitas as well since that's what the mod creator recommended in one of there posts but that didn't really help me at all, if you got the answers please let me know. Much love ❤️
mcc45452 Posted May 28, 2021 Posted May 28, 2021 (edited) Hey there, curious about trying to make the female character weight value -> female character visual representation scale more smoothly. With the default values, the looks change with weight value smoothly from very thin to around the curvy high teens of weight value, the visual doesn't change at all from there to mid 20s, then has a sharp visual change to definitely chubby/fat. I've poked around genes_modified.txt lines 341 to 346 (see below), but to no avail. My guess is there's some handoff between a standard mesh to a fat mesh that happens at disjointed weight values, or if the value->appearance disjoint is unfixable, then there's some visual weight disjoint that I could fix via editing the fat mesh's min value, so while there would still be a pause on visual change from high teens to mid 20s, the visual look would be smooth from the number the visual changes stop to when they start back up again. female = { # Fat body from 0.5 to 1.0 gene value setting = { attribute = "bs_fat_1" value = { min = -0.2 max = 1.0 } age = age_preset_child_fat } # Head fat setting = { attribute = "bs_fat_1_body" value = { min = -0.3 max = 1.0 } age = age_preset_child_fat } setting = { attribute = "bs_body_fat_1" value = { min = -1.0 max = 1.0 } age = age_preset_child_fat } setting = { attribute = "body_fat_correction" value = { min = -0.5 max = 1.0 } age = age_preset_child_fat } If anyone has any insight here, please let me know. After changing a few of these min/max values I *think* I made a difference, but I wasn't really sure what differences I was making, or which values were changing what. It could be that I'm just looking at the wrong spot in the genes_modified file, and I'm just imagining the changes. EDIT: My bad, I have a mod that I didn't realize impacted the linear scale of the value->visual. That's why me messing around with the numbers wasn't doing much, they were being overwritten by the other mod. The base mod does a linear change perfectly. Thanks Mange! disposabletemp Posted May 28, 2021 Posted May 28, 2021 (edited) For anybody having issues figuring out the 3 separate zip files: You should install the first zip file so that the folder "char_body_overhaul" and "char_body_overhaul.mod" are in the "mod" folder under your CK3 install. Click into "char_body_overhaul" and you should see all of the mod folders, including "gfx". Then open the other 2 zip files and drag the "gfx" folder from them into the "char_body_overhaul" folder. You should end up with only 1 folder named "gfx" and it should contain 2 subfolders: "models" and "portraits" Then you need to enable the mod either using the game launcher or by editing dlc_load.json. DecaySociety Posted May 29, 2021 Posted May 29, 2021 Mod looks great, and I'm going to definitely give it a try on my next playthough. (I think if I add another big mod to my current playthough, my save files will have an unpleasant word with me.) I'm really not good at at the technical side of things, but two (and a half) questions: 1) Do the fatter models go automatically with the weight gain process/pictures in the game or do they have to somehow be added or triggered separately? 2) How exactly do you "double" the stats such as breast size or fat max? Is there an interface, or does it need to be done by altering a file manually? 2b) Is the "doubling" saved in DNA or also show up randomly, or does it need to be changed in some manner for each character individually? Sorry for the bother, I'm just a planner for things. ? Again, awesome mod, can't wait to try it.
mcc45452 Posted May 29, 2021 Posted May 29, 2021 (edited) Hey Decay! 1.) Yes, there is a weight stat that scales the visual up (put your game in debug mode to see a character's current weight stat and their target when mousing over them). The stat is increased by feasts and some traits by default, and decreased by hunts and some traits by default. 2.) For breast size, see page two, there's a nice fella there who explains it. Basically you're tweaking the genes_modified file. The guy there mentions a nice find & replace so you can get all the changes in one swoop. Just tweak his max value to your liking. My post a few back shows where to go for editing the fat mesh - heads up though, there are three instances of the snippet I referenced there - one for each head fat type (small, medium, full). The maxes you're going to want to change for the body are bs_fat_1_body and bs_body_fat_1. The bs_fat_1 changes head fat and I'm not sure what the correction does. 2a.) Pretty sure it's gene based! As in, the value is saved and hereditary for each character. By changing those files, you are editing the bounds of what those genes can be. Because all characters are subject to these bounds, the changes will impact all characters, and doesn't need to be changed on a character-by-character basis (I haven't figured out how to do one-by-one in base game anyway, as the game only let's you edit *some* of the genes of a custom character, and you can only have a custom character once at the beginning of the game.) If you have the animation coded into an event you will now need to click on the event theme icon in the top left hand corner of the event window. I've turned this icon into a button that toggles whether to use the multi character cameras or the vanilla cameras. This will prevent any issues with floating characters, enable you to code your animations to any of the five portrait character slots, and eventually it will enable up to five characters per animation (if the engine can handle it) without messing up every vanilla event animation.) The button only changes the camera view. So that the sex animations are visible. Its not meant to do anything if you haven't coded the animation into the event you are looking at. 1

This is an extremely polished labor of love mod with so much work put into it, not an official commercial product you paid for. Quit being entitled and complaining over something you don't even bother to describe fully. Again, don't really know what it is you're talking about, but if you're talking about the portrait viewer, works fine for me. You can click and drag characters around though. Maybe you dragged one up so it's floating without realizing it. Could also be another mod you've got installed messing with something. Edited May 30, 2021 by mcc45452 1

Thanks once again for the mod, I am enjoying using it. After tinkering with the mod files I got a solution to the compatibility with All Genes Unlocked Mod. You have to go to: char_body_overhaul\common\genes and inside each gene.txt remove the lines that say: visible = no After that, the options to change bust type and body shape will now appear in the ruler designer menu. Personally I use min = 0 and max = 0.25 to get a bigger range than vanilla without getting ridiculous. Body shapes/types, fat and pregnancy add to the size, so I like to leave some leeway.., and it makes the average breasts actually average (vanilla's are a bit too small at 50%). I also change every instance of setting = { attribute = "bs_body_breast_size_min" value = { min = 1.0 max = -1.0 } age = age_preset_puberty } to setting = { attribute = "bs_body_breast_size_min" value = { min = 1.0 max = -4.0 } age = age_preset_puberty } This second change combined with min = 0 for bs_body_breast_size_2_max will make the breast distribution much more linear, rather than having anything below <33% basically be flat. To get to 80% of the author's max, go with min = -0.4 max = 0.4 in the bs_body_breast_size_2 . I'm currently working on finding some good values for butts, since they scale way too hard and are way too big even before other modifiers like fat/muscle/bodyshapes are applied. So since 80% of the normal largest size is -0.4x and 0.4y Complete beginner on this sort of thing, so correct me if I am wrong. I'm not dumb, but two things I really do not have a talent (unfortunately these days) are math and modifying code. So, let's say x is the miminum size that the computer will randomly determine and y is the maximum size. Then since 80% of the highest value the author sets as standard would be x=-0.4 and y=0.4, then the too 100% would be x=-0.5 and y=0.5, and the "doubled" highest value would be y=1. So basically z is the basic appears that the computer builds off of the the overall absolute smallest size. IT then adds w so that if f is final size, it would work like: z+w = f, where w is a randomly determined value between x and y. So if the user wanted the computer to randomly determine all size values with a range of say. . .150% of the vanilla size to 90% of the author's double size it would be x=0.2 y = 0.9 (both numbers positive) Or does this not work? To make the smallest displayable size larger, would the negative number get smaller (more negative) or larger (closer to positive or above zero). Or does it work by addition and subtraction. z+w=f where z is the "average addition" added to the "default average" of the size provided by the computer, and w is a value between x and y. So if it is smaller than average that means that it is z + w where w < 0 and so it gives an f value somewhere between the average and the minimum, and if it is larger than average w > 0? So in other words, let's say that someone wanted to put the absolute minimum displayable size for any chararacter to be generated with to be the original average value of the vanilla game, and 90% of the author's doubled max, then x = 0 (or 0.1 or -0.1 if it can't be zero) and y=0.9. So, using breasts as an example, what would give a larger minimum size, x= -0.5 or x= -0.3? I hate math like this. Lots of respect for you and anyone else who can look at this stuff without confusing themselves.. .

U should seriously reconsider making compatibility betwen urs mod and the Community Flavor mod pack(wich gives cool clothes) as i looked there is only few clothes that would need some adjusments. I would love that!, but i don't demand that cuz u made already amazing job! Second P.S. Do u know the mod Female nude body, and it's.......hairy pussy? i tried to mix it up with simple slits, but there is no effect(it's shaved ;I ) Do u maybe know how can i do that or if its possible to put those pubics hair on again? So, using breasts as an example, what would give a larger minimum size, x= -0.5 or x= -0.3? I hate math like this. Lots of respect for you and anyone else who can look at this stuff without confusing themselves.. . You lost me tbh. I think of it as a line with min = ... as one side of that line and max = ... as other, in reality its a value from 0 to 1. The game doesn't randomly determine sizes rather where on this line any particular character will fall is determined by probability based in the ethnicity file. To get to you question about whether x = -0.5 or -0.3 is the larger minimum size the frustrating answer is neither. The negative numbers don't actually change what the character looks like, it just changes where on said line any given shape starts to take effect. There is a base model in the game files that basically represents an average female (and another that represents an average male). breast size 2 max determines when on the line breasts are bigger than this average females size. so if you set up breast size 2 max at min = -0.5 and max = 3 the breasts wouldn't get bigger for the first quarter of the line, they would stay the same. For the second quarter of the line they would rapidly get bigger until they were huge. And then for the last half of the line they would stay the same. So if you are looking to increase the minimum size you need to change breast size min. Which in all my file is set at min = 1 max = -1. This means that on the minimum side of that line you get full smallest breasts possible. This slowly gets bigger until you reach that halfway point at which point the negative shape stops having any effect on your character. The easiest way to think of it is that the positive number (whether its classified as min or max) determines how much that attribute affects characters. The other side of equation just balances it. I know this is super opaque but can't figure out how to verbalize it better.

Seven sounds about right? I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so I'm not happy with any of them but I threw together my first animation just to show it was possible and these are probably further along then that, so I figured I'd leave them in when I uploaded. I've considered making the community flavor pack compatible, unfortunately its definitely more work than you would imagine. Do you know if the creator is fine with it? I don't really mix my steam account with my account on here. As to the nude body, you should just be able to paste the female body diffuse into this mods \gfx\models\portraits\female_body folder and it should work. Personally I can't figure out textures and diffuses, so I haven't done anything with that.
DecaySociety Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 So to install, the char_body_overall folder and the mod file should be in the CK3 mod folder, right?
