AAF Family Planning Enhanced Redux

I want to report a bug. When my character is pregnant for 9 months and gives birth to a child, her AP value still cannot be recovery. The AP is displayed as --, even if I sleep in the game for 20 days. And the AP value before pregnancy is 100,

Even if I remove the pregnant perk, it still doesn't work, but when the character is 5 months pregnant, as long as the AP value is still a number, removing the pregnant perk is work.

How do I fix this bug?

-------------------------------------------------------

I know what happened to my character. I loaded the early file. At that time, my character had abortions several times. It should be that this process produced a bug, and then the Fertile & Post Partum & Cumflation & Lactation(Active) appeared in the perk list of my character, and it will not be removed with the passage of time. I feel the previous abortion did not remove the pregnancy status of my character

However, even if I reset the pregnancy status of the character and remove the perk in MCM, it still doesn't work. I feel that several induced abortion bugs are superimposed. Finally, I have to choose to stop the family plan ----- save ----- quit the game ----- load ----- start the family plan in MCM, and the pregnancy perk of the character is still not removed. It seems I have to start a new game

so the mod is progressing nicely.

I added a couple more options to nongrowing Babies MCM option page (new options, Dead babies and no babies) *btw this doesn't uses chances so this is an absolute.

and I added creatures to the nongrowing list

and made a few more changes.

Why do you need to fix "dropping"....it does what it says? :D I selected it so I would find dropped babies and get to rescue them lol. Hopefully they cry so I can find them.

I don't think we're on the same page with 5 and 6...I meant in non technical player perspective terms, I wasn't talking about their names but I guess that is very helpful to know! What I meant was raider baby as in baby of the raider faction....so if Raider A births Baby A, then it's taken and dropped at a settlement.....would Baby A become a settler or would they grow up into a raider and the settlers would attack it (or it would vanish to go be a raider)?

If I don't take Baby A, would it grow into a settler or a raider if it's growable? If raider A has Baby A and it grows into a child is it a raider child or a raider, or one of the raider kids from "raider children" mod, or is it some wandering settler we can meet on our journeys and send to a settlement (like those random encounters)? Does it vanish? What happens? :)

I hope that explains what I meant a bit clearer, sorry for the confusion!

so babies->Childrens->Adults are decided on conception and birth.

so originally by default, all babies were settlers (and then I added more options for more factions but to actually change them requires you to recraft them) *or use different aid objects.

so no, if you rescue a raider baby, you need to do extra steps to make them productive members of society.

Hi, having trouble with getting the mod to work properly. Switched over to fusion girl from CBBE, have installed and uninstalled bodyslide, CBBE, and Fusion girl, as well as this mod a few times, have tried with different variants of things disabled, etc. But no expansion, have all the required mods, and believe that I have installed them correctly. Currently mod is disabled, and a new game that has never had the mod used is giving a message that the mod save may be corrupted (despite it not even being present). I am using Vortex, so unsure if it is putting things in the wrong spot or something else.

try tomorrow after I post the new update. (it does look good at the moment)

so there is options for the loss of action points in the MCM under "Surrogate/Perk Options" the options should be at the option of that page

I think I've found a suitable workaround. I'm going to place a trigger box around where the "doctor" NPC's package tells her to stand, and then add an on-enter script for the player that forcibly stops the FPFP_Abort quest. That seems to be what the abortion dialogue uses to decide whether it's still safe to abort the fetus, so should result in her responding with the "it's not safe to have an abortion" topic no matter how early in a pregnancy you are. Since this part is basically unchanged from the FPE mod, it should be a compatible solution for users of either one.

This took a bit of fiddling, but in the end I worked out that doing FPFP_Abort.SetCurrentQuestID(9999) followed by FPFP_Abort.Stop() had the intended effect. Just stopping the quest did work, but left it listed as incomplete in the Pip-Boy. Switching to stage 9999 (which seems to be the fallback stage you get once your pregnancy is too far along to abort) did end the quest, but didn't actually stop it, so the doctor still gave the abortion dialogue options. Combining both results in the "it's unsafe for you to have an abortion" response from the doctor and the quest moving to the history section in the Pip-Boy. The only down-side to this solution is that you do get the quest pop-up saying you failed it when you get near the doctor, but that's not really a big deal (and of course you only see that if the quest was running anyway).

So in summary, this solution seems to do what I need, tested with multiple successive pregnancies even. Does anyone see any problems with that workaround I might have missed?

I really like the STD feature ? it adds so much realism to the game but i don't understand how it works. How the perk is distributed? i'm thinking of something like your "Random Overlay Framework": 50% chance on Raider NPC spawn, 30% Gunners, 20% settlers, 10 BoS, 1% Institute... so when a new NPC spawns ingame, he/she gets the perk based on his/her faction chance percentage.

so I decided to add a last minute addition to FPE - Pregnancy Cravings

so each month, there will be a chance to developed pregnancy Cravings for weird food (MCM Options, of course)

here is the current list of food (if the list makes you want to throw up then it is a success)

1. InstaMash + Bloatfly = Mashed Fly
2. Mac and Cheese + Tarberry = Mac and Tar
3. cram + Razorgrain = Battered Cram
4. Salisbury Steak + Sugar Bombs = Sugary Steak
5. Pork n Beans + Mirelurk Egg = SeaPig n Beans
6. Potato Crisps + Dog Food = Crisps with chunky Dip
7. Nukacola + Melon = Nuclear Melon smash

all of these will be craftable in the cooking under "FPE Weird Foods"

do you have any suggestions before I post the update?

Okay so if I rescue a raider baby (I'm assuming this means dropped babies, and also ones removed from bodies) what should I do to make them into settlers?

Also can the HR mod babies be settlers?

you will to craft the "Baby Antidepressant Pack" which requires Addictol + Day Tripper

in the next Update, I will add them to leveled lists of doctors

already there, check the Existence Options of FPE (over multiple pages)

Something to think about, I remember there was quick little mod for Skyrim that added scripted morning sickness, dizziness, baby kicks with stagger effect (with character voice and heavier stagger dependent on trimester), braxton hicks, and contractions. Also added debuffs and slowed down your character, which was also dependent on pregnancy trimester, along with message pop-ups. At the time, this was designed to be paired with Beeing Female mod, and all the voices and effects were reused from in-game assets.

Something like this would be great for immersion, and would be a fine addition to this mod.

Since new update is coming out, is there anything specific with install instructions? Or can it just be downloaded, unzipped with 7zip, and then drag and drop the file into Vortex?

You would normally just drag the 7z file itself straight into Vortex, no need to unzip it.

Okay, rad. Some people instruct to unzip first, others say to do what you said so always in a state of confusion.

I didn't check "Random Overlay Framework" last changelog because i'm waiting to start a new game before installing it. I was just browsing FPE script to see how the STD was distributed.

PS

The length of the scripts alone is intimidating i can't imagine how many hours you sunk in those mods? "hats off".

unfortunately the mod will be delayed for a couple of days because I found a few more problems. so I will be working on them before I post the update.

also does anyone have any ideas for simple weird food to be used by this mod.

the current list

1. InstaMash + Bloatfly meat = BloatFly Haggis
2. Mac and Cheese + Tarberry = Mac and Tar
3. Cram + Razorgrain = Battered Cram
4. Salisbury Steak + Sugar Bombs = Sugary Steak
5. Pork n Beans + Mirelurk Egg = SeaPig n Beans
6. Potato Crisps + Canned Dog Food = Crisps with chunky Dip
7. Nukacola + Melon = Nuclear Melon Smash

also this only affects the player

update-> so I change Postpartum to have a Player Only Version because that was causing the forever pregnancy issues

also I will be changing the lactMax Quest because I keep getting the message(that I do not want) *turns out to be the issue below

new update-> I found a fairly big bug which I hopefully fixed

Add something with Deathclaw meat/ egg and Queen mirelurk meat for more challenge?  Like a death row "Last meal"

Queen mirelurk meat + Deathclaw meat/egg = Last Meal / Deadly Steak/ Grilled Dead Queen/Fatal omelette...

I will think about it.

so I should mention that the foods are designed to combat the system of pregnancy cravings.

so having two high-end ingredients is a bit overkill but it is a really good idea for the forever perks.

all eggs omelette(from all egg laying creatures(still unsure about DLC's) = forever fertility.

and I am not sure about lactation yet maybe...

Deathclaw meat/ egg and Queen mirelurk meat and molerat meat = mothers delight

I will have a think about it

A few questions. Does the mod allow pc to milk herself or just npc? Are the consumable (milk, semen, food, etc) available for purchase from vendors in major settlements like diamond city?

Sugar bombs + Cream = Nostalgia. It's like a desperate attempt to remember childhood, but cream instead of milk....and it's old radiated cream so gross.

Sugar Bombs + Nuka Quantum = Sugar High.

Brain fungus + gulper slurry = Brain Food

Cat meat + carrot = Forbidden steak

Iguana bits + squirrel stick = Stick People

Canned Dogfood + Ground Molerat = Barf and Bits

You should also do cravings for normal fun stuff like noodle cups, cotton candy bites, snack cakes, funnel cake, soups, etc too :D.

you have to download Wasteland Dairy Framework for proper milking to happen.

so hopefully I will post the mod tomorrow

but I do need to so some testing because (so it might take longer)

I have changed how the Fertility and Lactation scripts work

so fertility works a lot like Lactation now (a period of fertility follow by a period of infertility) *question below

and hopefully it fixes the multiple fertility perks issue

I have added messages to both scripts. (a bit different to Morgenrot_68 message system)

and actor values to count if it is active in the NPC system (might tweak this)

When doing that, can you also make sure that new addition of fertility cancels any current infertility too? I have a soft integration into FPE/FPER calling the MakeFertile subcommand for CPF (some super mutants are lacing the stew they provide for their breeding slaves with fertility drugs, so I call that in a script from the activator that feeds you), and I've noticed overlapping fertility and infertility perks during playtesting with the current patched FPER.

Problem:  Any use of BodySlide while the PC or NPC is pregnant breaks all the scripts for morphing.  Character is pregnant, but does not show as such.
Solution:

a)  Don't use bodyslide (specifically manipulating the model.  You can remove tattoos and such and do the face

b) You have to stop FPE, and WLD in game first.  Save, then exit the game.  Disable them in your Mod Manager, do not uninstall.
c) Use Resaver to clean the orphans.  Save the file.
d) Reinstall FPE then WLD in your mod manager.
c) Enable FPE then WLD, follow your normal instructions.

Im playing with bodygen enabled and i'm always fiddling with BodySlide and O.S to fix some armor/clothes clipping.
