This crashes on startup now because 3.12.3 removed obsolete "research_leader" trigger from tech modifier. You gotta replace those with has_trait_in_council =

Change all of these:

research_leader = {
    area = society
    has_trait = "[name of trait]"

}

Into these:

has_trait_in_council = {
    TRAIT = [name of trait]
}

in common/technology/FO_lv_technology.txt

tried it, but i seem to be doing something wrong. If you did it yourself, mind sharing your file. If not, no biggie, i'll just a touch more patient and wait for the update 😄

Probably just some indent error, but sure. Here's the fix

Stellaris crashes on load-up when I have this mod active, was fine the day before but now I guess an update happened that's breaking it?

For some reason, I have to re-copy the mod files into my mod folder for Irony mod manager to see it, each time I start the mod manager.

I don't use irony mod manager, so I can't comment on how the mod performs with it.

i just started trying this mod, when i try to activate the visit the heir edict, the event did not trigger, is there some prerequisite or my game is bugged?

familial society + imperial cult Empire, i tried it again after setting the Ruler and Heir gender manually from the family oriented edict and that seems to do the trick, i can trigger the "talk with heir" edict event but only when my ruler is Female, if i use a Male ruler then i can trigger the event but the options on the event didn't show up and it crashed my game.

Let me do try and recreate this and I'll get back to you if something comes up.

Edit: It seems to be working for me, do you get the starting heir gender/role screen within the first few months of the game?

That controls what kind of interactions you'll have with your heir at the start of the game, so not receiving the event means something is wrong.

Also, what is your ruler/heir's genders and roles?

yes i do get the starting heir gender/role screen. i've tried each of the options, and what i notice is my problem only arise when i use Male ruler no matter the roles and the heir is female no matter the roles. when the starting heir screen came up the heir is already generated as a leader and the starting heir gender/role screen options changes the heir if i choose the options that is different from what is already generated. now when the default heir generated is female it's either the "visit your heir" edict didn't show up on the edict list, or on the chance it shows up the interaction options are the same ones i get when i use female ruler. if the default heir generated is male and i change it to female in the starting heir screen, it bricks my game as when i trigger the edict it becomes what my picture above shows, and when i load the save file my game crashed everytime i open the governtment menu (F2).

The problem I am running into is that no matter what I do, with or without Lustful Void, With or Without Irony, for both 1.3.0 and 1.3.1, I cannot seem to get the mod working. I've re-down loaded the mod a few times, changed the version of Stellaris multiple times. It just doesn't seem to work no matter what I do. I don't get any edicts or origins, which I have been using to see if the mod was working.

Stellaris is recognizing that it is a mod, but its just not giving me any of the content, so I was wondering if there was a specific way to do it and if I was doing anything wrong.

It's understandable, it's kinda same for, but i changed some of traits, so u can merge add, or remove them, but i feel it's kinda goes against the mod intent.
Mostly these lines:

    species_possible_remove = {
        can_remove_beneficial_genetic_traits = yes
    }
    species_possible_merge_remove = {
        always = yes
    }

    species_possible_merge_add = {
        always = yes
    }

FO_lv_species_traits.txt 6.73 kB · 5 downloads

I just wanted to say, thank you for this. Worked wonders for me.

how can i get Incestuous Devotion

Research Genetic Sexual Attraction Optimizations, if you don't want to wait for it to pop up in your research tree, take the consanguinity tradition and finish it, the research will always be available once you finish the tree. Pops with incestuous interest trait will automatically switch to incestuous devotion over time.

I don't know what happend, I have the same problem at first.

then I change Family Oriented.mod file

this is Original file

name="Family Oriented 1.3.1"
path="mod/Family Oriented"
tags={
    "Kek"
    "NSFW"
    "Incest"
    "Consensual(Probably)"
    "If this is on Steam it's stolen!"
}
dependencies={
}
supported_version="3.12.*"

I simply swapped the positions of the first and second rows, then the mod works

path="mod/Family Oriented"
name="Family Oriented 1.3.1"
tags={
    "Kek"
    "NSFW"
    "Incest"
    "Consensual(Probably)"

}
dependencies={
}
supported_version="3.12.*"
