I think if you have the combat settlers mod, then you can use that mod's interface to dismiss a settler. I think I can both "Just Business" and "Combat Settlers" in my own game at the same time. DaringSoule Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 SO this explains how to do it with consoles. What about PC? when i Action I only get 4 choices after i choose talk, Question, Inventory, Blank, And sex. also the addon doesn't work for PC.

It sounds like the problem you are having is that "Extended Dialogue Interface" is not functioning. If it was you would have all of the proper dialogue options. DaringSoule Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 i am using to my knowledge the default settings
SlaveHunter311 Posted November 7, 2023 Author Posted November 7, 2023 hm, so you have XDI but it is still not functioning as intended? I suppose it could be a mod conflict then. If you have a mod that also effects the dialogue menu then that would interfere. But for some reason its not functioning at all, is what it looks like. Even though it is plugged in and showing up on the MCM menu. Is XDI the latest version? I can't think of anything else that would cause it to fail like that.
monkinsane Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Howdy, Awesome mod - Love it. Just a quick Q: I seem to be unable to sell slaves. I tell slave I gonna sell you I Aditional talk to merchant - and only option I get is "Nothing" which exits the dialogue. Any idea what could cause this?

Any idea what could cause this?  There are only a few options in the mod for selling your slaves - I think only some of the raider bosses in Nuka World. Are you talking to one of them?  I had made a mod for myself that let you sell slaves to a lot of vanilla merchants in the base game, probably I should post it on LL.

I was talking to the merchants in the Auctionhaus mod. As for the Raiders, won't they be hostile to player? Havent started nukaworld yet. Also if you could post your mod - it would be a great help. To anyone else having this issue, the Mod Just Business Addon allows you to make anyone a slave buyer. My issue seems to be a mod conflict - some other mod modified the NPCs from AuctionHaus - removing the flag that makes them a slave buyer. I used "Just Business - Addon" to fix this. Â

I've had a lot to sort out in real life. My new job hasn't given me a ton of time for this lately. Anyway, I need some more information from you. First off. Are you approaching a raider boss, an auction house vender, or snatcher? Edited December 15, 2023 by SlaveHunter311
AngryHobo2 Posted January 27, 2024 Posted January 27, 2024 Good evening everyone. I've just got a quick question about escaped slaves. Namely, how do I "capture an escaped slave"? I've tracked down the runaway multiple times, but there's no option to interact with them so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing here.

menchi8877 Posted January 27, 2024 Posted January 27, 2024 The pricing system needs to be more rewarding. They tried to lowball me on a matching set of twin legendary gunners so kept them for myself. Not the cuddly types at first, but where there is a whip there is a way.
Emperor Taaraz Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 (edited) A question about the Snatchers: I made the Red Rocket Truck Stop into my centralised slave trading port where captured slaves are kept until they're ready to be sold to that Snatcher that appears every once in a while at Red Rocket. So the Snatchers are quite important, since I don’t want to travel to Goodneighbor with a group of slaves all the time. On the other hand, my character is ruling the Commonwealth like a feudal lord with the Minutemen as his army, protecting his settlements as long as they keep paying tributes (caps from stores and scavenged materials) and respect his dominion over the Commonwealth. That’s also why he only enslaves raiders, gunners, etc., that rise up arms against him, and not any normal settlers. Whoever messes with my character’s settlements will face his fury. Therefore, it’s perfectly in character to go to war against Nuka World’s Raiders after they announced their plan to take over the Commonwealth. So here’s the question: If I destroy the Raiders in Nuka World, do the Snatchers still appear?  Edited January 30, 2024 by Emperor Taaraz

I don't know. I doubt the snatchers are going to disappear if you wipe out Nuka World, but I have never done it in one of my play throughs. Me being a raider scum bag, I usually ally myself with Nuka World in my play throughs. I would say just try it out. And if you are desperate, I think there are ways to force ordinary npc's to trade slaves with you. I don't know how to do that myself, but I have seen plenty of posts with people who do in the main forums. They may have left a post in this one as well about that subject.

volandir Posted March 19, 2025 Posted March 19, 2025 (edited) I lost the ability to sell slaves, sold about 8-10 slaves to Good Neighbor, and at some point the second interaction button does not appear, I suspect that it is because of the Robotics Expert perk. ps changed the order of loading mods, it was fixed.  Edited April 21, 2025 by volandir
Thuggothic Posted May 17, 2025 Posted May 17, 2025 (edited) For anyone that has an issue with xdi only displaying 4 options  I just fixed mine earlier  Check and see if you have Full Dialogue Interface, if you do just disable/uninstall it  After I did that it worked  If in any weird event it doesn't , but it should, you can disable the xdi.esm and it'll work too Edited May 17, 2025 by Thuggothic
