Hi people. 

 

I havent modded skyrim in years but I got tempted to try this specific mod. I spent quite some times installing everything ,with every known dependencies ect through Vortex, but since the game updated, I got multiple dll that won't load through SKSE. How do you people bypass this ? For example, DD hasn't been updated in years so it should be a known problem I guess.

 

I have latest AE steam version.

Whenever the base game updates most, perhaps all, mods that use dlls will have to be updated to work with the new version. That can take days, weeks, months, years or sometimes never happen at all. That's why most people recommend you set Steam to only update the game on launch (which never technically happens when you're launching it through a mod manager and SKSE.) If you want to use devious devices with AE you're either going to have to wait a potentially very long time, or downgrade your version of the game back to the previous one before the official update. There's a recent tool on nexus called SDT - Skyrim Downgrade Tool that can do that for you very neatly if you want to.

And set the manifest (Steam\steamapps\appmanifest_489830.acf) to read-only in case you accidentally launch the game directly.

Thank you for the info. What version of the game would you recommend ? I read that the most supported one would be 1.6 1170 from 2024

Yes, I'd say that's the best one. I'm sticking with 1170 for the time being, and that's the version the downgrade tool will get you.

I will stick to the method you recommended (SDT -Skyrim Downgrade Tool) but as I was searching for related stuff, I stumbled upon this tool that allows to downgrade to multiple versions if interested: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3786909848

Approximately 3 minutes.  However, playmates will wait until you're not doing a short-term task (like fetching ale), or having sex with someone else, or otherwise busy (fighting, swimming, etc.), so it could be longer.

I bypassed this simply by using a backported copy of 1.597

There are some automated means to do this on Nexus, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57618

 

Not sure if I used that specific one.

 

Anyway there are plenty of mods that specifically work for 1.5.97

All the DD mods for example.

I installed to dedicated SSD

Then found the games STEAM ID, which has a file over here

C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps

Forget which "Appmanafest....."

But marked it "READ ONLY"

Now the game can never update.

Very important because with how modding is, you could sit play for a couple weeks or a month an come back 2 years later an guess what game updated destroying your mods list.

I dont want to update all mods or start over so this locked in approach is appealing to me.

So I got the mission to do a S.L.U:T.S cargo run but as soon as I leave whiterun (starting city) to deliver the cargo I get zapped all the time because it is forbidden to leave the area

I use SLUTS Redux.

Road trip quest log hasn't updated at all


Do I have to cancel the quest with consol commands?

Do you currently have the prostitution quest running? That is the only one I know for sure that requires you to stay in the city until you are done.

I don't use SLUTS Resume myself, so I'll never get that quest.

As @IBAGadget gadget already said, there seems to be another (Lola?) quest running. You have 24h to talk to the dispatcher, so there's ample time to finish any short-time quest.

BUT - I cannot imagine that Hexbolt would give you the Roadtrip as long as another of his quests is still active. He cannot know how long i.e. the prostitution might take you. 

Are you sure the still running quest is from this mod, and not from one of the (unsupported) extensions?

Good choice, but you should at least get a small plus on your submission score as soon as you've talked to Bjorlam and taken a SLUTS job.

Nope. Nothing changed. I had done sluts cargo runs befor becoming Lola already.

Why were you forbidden to leave the area?

 

SLTR will generally tell you why you're being punished.  For instance, SLTR's prostitution tells you, "You must return to a civilized location until you've finished your whoring duties."  Since you didn't mention prostitution, it would be some other quest, possibly from one of the add-ons.

SLTR did not notice that you had started the cargo run, but I don't see how that can happen.  What does "GetStage sluts_mission_scenes" tell you?

Okay, I just tested Road Trip using the latest versions of SLTR and SLUTS Redux 2 (the results should be the same for the older SLUTS Redux, since Road Trip was originally built and tested with that older version), both as a first-time haul and then later as a new haul, since you had done cargo jobs before.  The Road Trip quest updated correctly both times.

 

It does take Road Trip up to 20 seconds to notice that you've started the cargo job, but it does appear to do that reliably.  Unless you decided to use console commands to start or update the SLUTS job (that's unlikely, but I'm just considering all possibilities), Road Trip should have detected that you had started the job.

 

Since you've already failed Road Trip, you might as well just accept the punishment, as @CaptainJ03 suggested.

 

It is probably worthwhile rescanning for recognized mods on the Mod Integration page of SLTR's MCM.  You shouldn't need to do that, but it's worth checking that everything looks correct.

 

If you have that stage number for sluts_mission_scenes (if you got that during the haul, not after you delivered the cargo), that might indicate something wrong.

Yep

In Mod integration in the lola mcm SLUTS Resume is found after refresh it found redux. I am 99% sure I never had Resum on that char. And it immediatly updated the cargo run quest log.

Okay, thanks, mystery solved.  SLUTS Resume uses different quest IDs than Redux.

Preview of another Bondage Adventure story.  This one is inspired by (but significantly different from) the fox hunt suggestion from @wren888.

The captive women made their break from the bandit camp at the same time.  Knowing they couldn't all elude capture, they scattered as much as the narrow valley allowed.  They fled toward the valley's far end, where the Stag & Bush hunting lodge meant safety.

 

They'd need skill more than stamina.  They were naked except for simple shoes suitable only for prisoners.  The men had skillfully bound them with rope to make escape difficult.  Their feet were hobbled, limiting them to short steps, with hands bound behind their backs.  The worst part, though, was the torment.

 

Exertion and labored breathing made bound breasts suffer.  A tight crotch rope rubbed and stimulated with every step.  It also held a vibrating plug securely inside that would activate randomly and loudly.  The captives had already had to endure those plugs while waiting to escape, so they were all on edge.

 

The hobble rope ensured that they couldn't simply sprint to safety.  They'd easily be overtaken.  Instead, they had to use cover and careful pacing while being hunted like animals.  They knew what the men would do to them if they were caught.

 

Daina moved from shadow to shadow, determined to succeed.  She'd kept well away from the other girls.  They were clumsy, noisy -- and stupid.  The whine of a plug indicated some unfortunate girl's position.

 

"Oh, OH!"

 

She recognized Rowena's voice.  The girl is sweet-natured, soft, buxom, and utterly lacking in survival sense.  A plug's noise is bad enough, but you have to stay quiet, even if it means biting your tongue.  They hadn't been gagged for that very reason.

 

Soon, there was a squeal; Rowena had been caught.

 

Daina moved directly away from her position.  "Sorry, it's survival," Daina thought to herself.  With luck, several bandits would swarm the girl.  They'd be occupied for a while.  Daina quickened her pace as much as she could.

 

As the hunt proceeded down the valley, crystalline whines intermittently announced the positions of the hunted, but the other girls were wise enough to stifle their moans.

 

Daina struggled with her own torment.  The tight ropes were doing unsettling things to her breasts -- distracting things.  The crotch rope had her about ready to....  No!  Her plug started up.  Despite her attempt at iron control, it sent her over the edge.  Daina fell and shuddered on the forest's soft ground as she climaxed, betrayed by her urgent need, helpless if a man were to find her.

 

Luck was with her.  Daina gathered herself and continued.  She'd lost precious time, but the sounds of the other plugs were all behind her.  Occasionally, there'd be a defeated cry and whoops of victory as more girls were caught and ravished.

 

At last, Daina sighted the clearing.  The hunting lodge would be at the center.  She'd be safe when she reached it.

 

But, to her dismay, she heard approaching footsteps.  A pursuer had spotted her, probably had been tracking her for a while, and was giving chase.

 

Stealth wouldn't save her now.  Daina moved as fast as the hobble rope would allow.  She burst into the meadow surrounding the lodge.  There!

 

However, luck chose that moment to fail her.  Her plug activated powerfully.  Gritting her teeth in determination, ignoring the vibrations and the fiendish crotch rope, Daina pressed on, propelling herself with a final leap onto the lodge's porch.

 

She landed hard and rolled.  "Safe!" she laughed.

 

"Well, by all the hells!  I was THIS close to snagging you, Daina.  I could feel your hair with my fingertips."

 

It was Aidan.  Of course it was Aidan.  None of the villagers in the region was as fine a hunter, or as fine in the flesh.  He'd removed his shirt for the hunt.  Sweat glistened on firm muscles in the warm air of late spring.  Aidan was positively swoon-worthy, but Daina was not the sort of gal to just let herself be caught.

 

"You okay?"

 

"Just a little bruised.  Untie me?"

 

The Spring Hunt was an ancient tradition, bringing together participants of marriage age from all the neighboring villages.

 

Rural folk rarely travel, so the hunts offer the opportunity to look outside one's little hamlet for a desirable mate.  The pleasant weather, the physical exertion, and the chance to see a prospective wife naked breaks down barriers in ways no socially proper festival ever could.  The valley region boasts an unusually high marriage and fertility rate.

 

For these hunts, men sign up to be "bandits".  Willing females become their "captives".  Flirting and "hands on" time in the camp at the other end of the valley give participants time to appraise each other.  At the appointed time, the captives escape and are pursued.

 

There are incentives.

 

Those who are caught are used by their captors.  The ones who reach the lodge are victorious.  The first to do so wins a purse of gold.

 

The first to be caught spends the rest of the day in a pillory for free use.  That would be Rowena, the baker's daughter.  Bless her, though very plain of face, she is sweet, kind, and bountiful.

 

"You didn't even try to win," Daina called out to Rowena as she was being locked into the pillory.

 

Rowena stuck out her tongue.  "There are different kinds of winning."

 

Daina sat down next to Aidan at the bonfire.  "I hope you'll be in the Autumn Hunt."  Each fall, the women hunt the men.  She handed him a mug.  "You won't elude me this year."
