Cyberpunk 2077 Mod Creation Thread

Recommended Posts

I removed the rule acknowledgement requirement to join the Cyberpunk club seeing as so many were having issues with it. With the club having 3400+ members, I'm still surprised that so few people have actually uploaded their mods to a central location. People still seem to prefer to bury them in miscellaneous posts on LL so they're almost impossible to find.

Keanu Reeves has said that he thinks "it's nice" that people attempted to mod Cyberpunk 2077 so that they could have sex with his character.

During an interview with The Verge for The Matrix Resurrections, the actor was asked about his experiences with Cyberpunk 2077. While Reeves admitted that he hasn't played the game in which he stars as Johnny Silverhand, he seemed genuinely happy to learn that players had tried to mod the game in order to get down and dirty with his character.

When Reeves found out that players had been modding the game to sleep with him, he fist-pumped the air in joy while receiving a pat on the back from his Matrix co-star Carrie-Anne Moss. When asked how he felt about that kind of attention, Reeves said "Oh my god, it’s always nice, when it’s nice, and…y’know."

Unfortunately for Reeves that joy was short-lived; while the mod did exist in the game for a short period of time, CD Projekt Red removed it earlier this year. In a statement at the time, the developer said, "When it comes to models of real people whom we've asked to participate in the game, we kindly ask you to refrain from using them in any situation that might be found offensive if you don't have their explicit permission."

While Reeves didn't give his explicit permission for modders to create new ways for players to digitally screw him in the game, he did seem saddened by the news that it was no longer possible. While it may be that Reeves is quite happy for players to carry out their fantasies with his digital self, the same certainly isn't true for Moss. "I on the other hand say 'No thank you!'" she clarified before Reeves interjected with his own thoughts on digital porn and members-only content.

Maybe because it would piece through a lot of clothing sets. There are big boobs and ass mods already in Nexus

They do state that the Non Standard body needs the clothing mods to go with it as the body mods do bleed through

Thanks,, Will take a look,, as I see I need a Main mod for them all to work ?

Yes there is kind of a main mod, Cyber Engine Tweaks which most mods use as a base to plugin their own fuctionality.

https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/107?tab=files

I think easiest way to start would be to try body and clothes mod

body

https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/3667?tab=files

clothes

https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/1890?tab=description

(Cyber Engine Link is also listed there in requirements together with a texture mod)

and perhaps only start with the replacer version which adds the new clothes as drops and in shops.

Most mod authors give you item codes to add stuff via Cyber Engine Tweaks console while this mod or rather this author managed to

add stuff automatically which i think is a rather nice option to get started.

CSVMerge Version would allow to use an online shop on any computer within the game.

It's not too complicated too add, but to get some ideas what you can do with the mods the replacer version is easier to start with.

Also can't recommend using any mod manager at the moment. All mods i was using up to now come with correct folder structure,

means you copy them in your base directory and it should work while i had some serious problems using vortex, the nexus manager.

By the way here is another mod, very easy to install (simply copy the archive folder from the zip in your game archive folder) and with quite an effect on the game visuals.

Wow Thanks,, I will start on this later today,, Bookmarking this page just in case something happens (electricity in a village does often go off.) Then slowly build it up. Some stuff in game really is dumb and needs real people like modders sorting it out.

I'm waiting for a final-ish update for the game before having a go at a sex framework for it (so probably 2022 some time). I worked on some of the earlier frameworks for Fallout 4 (Four-Play, which was adopted and expanded into AAF) and Skyrim SE (SexLab Light SE, which was the solution before SKSE64 was released) so I do have some experience.

Retired from modding a few years ago to dedicate the 'hobby' hours to developing my own game. Now that my own game is starting to earn enough to become my full-time job, modding seems like a good hobby to have again. And the next Elder Scrolls seem years away so Cyberpunk makes sense.

After this post I just can't keep coming back to this thread to see if anything started, it's gonna be huge for sure and it will have massive impact on future of Cyberpunk 2077

Update 1.5 is now live. curious to see if this now opens up more mod oppurtunities on Loverslab ?

I've stopped getting my hopes up... We need some kind of system to inject and sync animations and so far WolvenKit just doesn't seem close to offering that.

I did a Female Streetkid run at release, a Male Corpo run with 1.3, and I guess now I'll have another go with Nomad finally... But yeah, without some major lewd, deviant RP content I'm just gonna end up back in Fallout 4 at the end of the playthrough.

I wouldn't say that. Have you followed the commit history for a while? There is a big update coming. They have made some huge breakthroughs since the last update.

First efforts on animations seem to be made as well.

Never followed it at all. Honestly github confuses the crap outta me. I can't even figure out how to download stuff (like Rimworld mods) from there.

So no, I had no idea they were on the verge of a breakout release... I really hope that's the case, and that it can reflect back on Witcher 3 also, but I'm not gonna get hyped until I can actually see it working in my own game.

From what I know modders work with CDPR, so maybe we will have some modding tools. sex will be a great addition to the story, you have porn adverts, dildos all over the game, buttplugs. Your characters have a vegine and a dick, that they can't use lol.

CDPR promised much more sex and not only they underdiliverd( Sex/relationships are better in witcher 2/3), they also censored the game after hot fix 1.05. I remember with rouge you actually had a sex scene with her(Censored), one of the joytoys gave you a pretty detalied blowjob(Censored).

I really hope we will get better modding tools.
