[mod] Carnalitas Arousal Framework

hi I'm not sure if this will be helpful at all but I'm getting an error when I try to use the make love interaction, where the arousal isn't being effected, when I turn on debug and hover over the decision itself I'm met with "ERROR (carn_sex_partner.getshortuiname)" any insight would be helpful. thanks in advance

this needs a UI update basically...maybe try to move it somewhere that wont be impacted by future updates if possible

Impossible with the way CK3 modding works.

Author, I'm not sure if anyone has provided you with Chinese localization. I noticed some errors and incorrect translations in the original module's Chinese localization. If no one has provided you with it, you can consider updating the author's update

arousal is also not affected on my end after make love or carnal court interaction. What can i do to fix it?

Whenever I have sex there's two popups for "amazing sex" or "terrible sex" for the single time does anyone know what mod could be causing this? a lot of the times the perosn has an amazing sex opinion with a terrible sex opinion at the same time.

Not getting any notification after using carnalitas. I notice arousal is decreased but no notification pops up.

and it's usually two different opinions. I'm not sure which mod it's from or how it's calculated.

From what I see, some mod is adding additional arousal events to you, because arousal framework did not have "invigorated by tantric sex" or "bad intercourse" notification

Can you share your mod list? If I have two notifications and you have none maybe the answer is halfway between our mod list or smth lol

It would be simpler to say which mods I'm not using from your list. And those are : Wicked debauchery, cheri-carnalitas dei, carnalitas mundi, intimate encounters, deviant's mask, jus primae noctis. 

 

These are all carnalitas mods so the most likely culprits, but out of all of those I'd would start with "intimate encounters" since it's a mod by the same author so they might be using arousal framework to add these notifications.

Hello everyone. Can you help me? I have the following mods:

1. Carnalitas

2. Carnalitas Arousal Framework

3. Physical Attributes

4. Carnalitas - Historical Slavery Doctrines

5. Carnalitas Slavery Expansion

6. Carnalitas Slavery Expansion - PA

7. carnalitas_slavery_reimagined

 

Unfortunately, when the mod "Carnalitas Slavery Expansion" is enabled, mod "Carnalitas Arousal Framework" does not work fully. During sexual intercourse, the level of arousal of the character in the "Carnalitas Arousal Framework" mod does not change in any way. Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?

That's because Wicked Debauchery includes a copy of my arousal system, so one popup is from CAF and the other from Wicked Debauchery. I'll add it to the list of incompatible mods.

I don't see how raping your courtiers gives you any benefits over sleeping with your spouse, considering "Make Love" is on a 12-month timer.

 

Regardless, have you tried the following:

• Set "arousal management" game rule to easy or very easy
• Use "make love" once a year
• Increase opinion of your spouse
• Get a lover
• Have an attractive spouse/lover
• Have a spouse/lover with compatible traits

 

Personally I play on "very hard" arousal management and it works fine for me, maybe some of these tips will help you. 🙂

 

Edit: Though if you have any ideas on how to add more ways to control arousal, I'm all ears too.

Im not sure what Im doing wrong but no events are reducing arousal. My guy is about to strip naked. I have a sex slave and 2 concubines and a loving wife and no event has lowered arousal.

There are no events that trigger automatically to reduce arousal. It is intended to be used with a yearly "make love" interaction, which needs to be enabled in Carnalitas game rules. Other mods/events that trigger sex work too, such as seducing someone or starting an orgy (from other mods).
