Farkas has only one comment at the moment that triggers at around halfway through your pregnancy. This partially why I took the demo down; too many missing features and the confusion caused by it. Regarding dialouge spam, all random comments have a 24 hour cool-down (in game time) to help with repetition.

oh that a nice touch would be good if there was a time limit on npc's like that when you walk close to them without messing with the range they greet you. Because I doubt people greeted eachother even more so strangers that much. ?

I was wondering, do you plan to include a child support quest in the mod? As a female player, I wouldn't mind the father of my pc's baby handing her some gold or jewels.  Maybe with some loving dialogue lines to make it seem like hes happy to provide for his family.

Thank you! Another Idea came to me while I was wandering around. Maybe the father/mother of child could make suggestions to rest if you're traveling with them. For the female player, if her baby's health drops to a certain percentage, the father could suggest they find an inn or make camp because she looks exhausted. I hate using the baby health widget and having the father or even a companion bring up the need to rest would make it a more immersive reminder to take of herself for the baby. For the male player, maybe the npc could ask to rest and ask for the player for a meal or food item for immersion. 

 

I also read about the bad news on the se page. Im sorry to hear it. Hopefully you will be able to find a solution.  Meanwhile, take your time, you have done something that was so sorely needed for this game and imo, as a fan of this mod, I am still happy with what you released and am happy to wait

maybe a really stupid question, but does it work with the soulgem option in FM? I use it, so i cant get a baby only soulgems

Yup. NPCs will still act like you're having an actual baby, but it will work.

I meant to ask, will Vilkas receive comments to say something about the players pregnancy like Farkas in the next update? Or did he already have it? My pc is  pregnant and I did get his dialogue for telling him but I haven't heard anything else as her pregnancy has progressed.

A quick question, Do you plan to add some dialogue for when a pregnancy ends? Miscarriage was discussed but In a normal birth?  Would be nice to see the npcs acknowledge the player/npc gave birth to their child

Lydia, Farkas and Vilkas already do this. It's just a one liner.

ah ok I did not hear it  from Vilkas when my  pc had the baby.  But I also have the baby set to spawn into a child after one day. Should I change the days to be longer to hear it? I have not tried farkas tho. Which brings up the question, If married but pregnant from someone else, who comments on the baby? the spouse or the father?

The days don't matter. If Vilkas is the father and the player gives birth he should say the line. The line is in the "hello" category, so he'll say it upon being approached. Once he says it, he won't say it again until you have another baby with him. Also, if you're using the debug options in the MCM it won't work, you have to give birth "the natural way".

I did not hear it from him after giving birth. I don't use the debug option as you had stated before not to do that.  The only line I ever heard from him is the line he says once you tell him your pregnant.  I think I will try again later. Thank you for your answer, I appreciate it.

So I tried to see if this was possible but it seems that the baby health is entirely contained in inside scripts, which means that implementing this would be extremely impractical and beyond my own scripting ability to create.

It should work for him, but with no voice. When you get pregnant you can take a test potion to discover the pregnancy, which will then give you a message box asking if you want to find the father. If you hit yes you can go to any male in-game and tell him he's the father, including Kaiden. He will use the same generic dialogue as all of the other men who haven't had their own unique quests made yet (only Farkas and Vilkas have unique father dialogue for now), so unfortunately there isn't much depth outside of telling him you're pregnant.

I know u maybe re quite busy, hope u can read my asking and consider it if it havent been adressed, dunno if it could be possible they when already carrying the offspring say from time to time how excited they re on being pregnant, thnx in advance, is an awesome immersive mod ure adding to our playing, thnx so much!!

just wanted to report that Vilkas family request doesn't trigger when married.  Had to use the console command that you gave me before to start it. I am using the newest version.
