We hate because we fear. Work to first study/listen and then understand. The fear and subsequent hate abate or disappear altogether and lead to true enlightenment.

Communication, after all, is not so much a matter of intellect as it is of trust and acceptance of others, of their ideas and feelings, acceptance of the fact that they're different, and that from their point of view, they are right."

Well I finally got my new desktop running. Had to deal with returning defective parts and a work schedule that gave me barely enough free time to actually put the machine together, but its finally done.

The best news is that even though the harddrive from my old desktop is dying its still functional enough I've been able to transfer most of the stuff I wanted off it. Included my current heavily modded version of Skyrim SE, the only apparent data that was too corrupted to transfer was the replacement meshes for the orcish weapons. An acceptable loss considering just how bad it could have been with all the files on that drive slowly going bad.

I have doing been so poorly lately... pet death and major breakup last spring, another pet death, another breakup, changed industries twice.... then I got sick about three months ago. major dental surgery for the holidays, it had been needed since I was still a teenager but I had to wait until I was near death and kidneys shutting down from infection to get affordable help [america] so this could well change my quality of life for the better in an unbelievable way, I had been used to about a 4.5-5/10 pain every waking minute, it's not that bad anymore.

I am finally starting to get well again, before it caught up with me, I had went from two to three miles a day to 200-300 steps a day overnite. used my tax return to get my dream gaming/streaming/edit tower [should have dreamed more, but also should have kept more of my salary in a us state with a GDP that rivals Germany with public services that rival the developing global south]. house paid off on the first. car will be paid off before autumn. over first big step of health recovery, but not even begun to start being myself again. insomnia, full moon fever, so I went and got some mushrooms earlier, binge watching bob's burgers and doing two or three other things at once to appease my adhd, this ain't so bad. best I have felt all year, without a doubt. glad to be here. cannae usually say that.

I got my statue of Darth Vader in the mail earlier today. It's 14 inches tall and looks really cool on my desk. $180 well spent.

I've been with my girlfriend for about 3 weeks now, and things have been going very well. She and I have grown very close. Also, I'm pretty sure she knows I have a foot fetish. She loves making sure I can see hers. While watching the HBO Chernobyl series, she put her feet on the ottoman and smiled at me when she saw my face. She has beautiful feet.
