koaamz Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 So I've started a new game with updated mods and everything, and almost every mod is working as intended, however with AAF Im experiencing weird issues, upon starting a scene whether it be random shenanigans or manually, the scene commands stop working, and then i get "Scene 4 of 4" even though there's only 1 scene active, after that i can't press "backspace" nor the clothes command nor position nor change animations and can't even "end" it via the end key, and the actors get stuck with the animation and i basically can't do anything about it! this is the first time I've experienced this kind of bug with AAF, , tried re downloading AAF and it's themes, even re downloaded F4SE, even tried a completely new save yet nothing is working. I'd greatly appreciate any sort of help with this! Thanks in advance

mashup47 Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 @koaamz @tch65721 .  What AAF mods and patch's are you using for your install. As I am not having this issue. Just saying it's AAF mean's nothing without more info. The best place to ask this question and get the best answer from those that know is on the AAF Discord Channel. have you use the GFV.exe AAF install checker found here: https://discord.gg/cP8Fq9z. ?could be outdated patch's, mods, xml's ? A up to date and working guide can be found here:  https://www.loverslab.com/topic/97147-advanced-animation-framework/ Â
tch65721 Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 The mods were installed in accordance with the guide you reference and all are the latest available EXCEPT Fusion Girl as the latest version has issues. I didn't know there was an AAF install checker. If that checks for conflicts that would sure be useful.

If AAF = 30% -> Reinstall with debug checked for to get a debug screen with errors when you load your save.  Othrewise, as i already state in the guide, drop by AAF's Discord and we can help you troubleshoot the issue.

mashup47 Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 Try the discord channel first, As using old release's will cause issue's later on with XML's to the best of my knowledge. fresh Reinstall with a second recheck of guide solves the majority of errors. Â
Sovietkotek Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 Yup I just updated to the newest version and am suddenly having this problem. Will be following support closely but I'll be reinstalling first and seeing how that goes.
Sovietkotek Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 So currently the problem seems to be that when you have multiple active scenes and you "end" it, "Scene 3 of 5" for example will end as usual but AAF will still register all 5 scenes, and Backspace won't cycle back to the other animations because it simply cannot count past Scene 3 of 5.
Sovietkotek Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 Alright, just reverted to an older AAF 110 and this problem disappeared. There seems to be something up with AAF 139.

Got any ideas where i can find it? Thanks!!
dagobaking Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 There does seem to be some issue with the scene ending code. Will work on it for the next release.

Older versions of AAF tend to get wiped from existence so I was just using an old installer I kept in my backups.

That's great news! No pressure though it's actually not THAT big a pain in the ass. I could just reload which I often do.
CrowDeadRose Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 Not Fixed, having same issue with AAF Beta 161.1.. Going to last outdated file...
