Scorpio Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 No Default Bodies or Skins in use just WW defaults. I've only seen it happen with females. Even happens with some fresh EA sims that just get dropped into the game. Also the same in other world locations. Sometimes they fix themselves after some time and sometimes not. Save, exit, and restart usually fixes them. Never happened before ECO patch and/or adding the ECO EP. Deleting the cache makes no difference. Ideas?

Might be a default body or WW body selector mod, or default clothes replacement that failed. Remember which one you have. I use Eve,BB fixed ver , and some dumbaby meshes With my custom bodies. So if one failed I just remove it and check. I put that picture as example cause I created a custom dick without body bottom. To test it as strapon. As you can see there is no bottom. Cause I remove it. In the worst case is EA failure, but I bet for a damaged Mod

In my case Remurion sims skin 15 14 and 16 comes with a default face replacement.the person who create the mod, did it when sims 4 studio haven’t separated skin face details from face templates. And they guy used a default created face destroying any other sim face for the sim that used that skin. by removing the mod everything back to normal

Tracked it down and tossed it. As for OP, if it's happening on a mod/CC game, it might be a job for AHQ.

But I don't recall ever seeing her with a missing torso. The skin she has is RS-12 and I've also applied it to a few elders in the game but I've never seen those elders with missing tops either. Caught one last night and it was a NPC and used MCCC fulledit to check her in CAS and she went back to normal looking. Doesn't always work on every sim though. Checked all her outfits to make sure they were all from vanilla game, no skin used, EA hairstyle, and no jewelry. Only thing used was cc makeup, PS contacts, and Eyelashes that have been working fine like forever and many other sims use the same ones too. But I forgot to check swimsuit category and that's what she was wearing in game with sunglasses on when I exited CAS. She did have her torso back after CAS though so I didn't bother. The strange thing is, it's never happened before the ECO stuff was installed. It almost acts like the game doesn't finish loading a complete sim when spawning them into neighborhoods. But sometimes I never see any broken sims when playing either. It's very inconsistent whatever it is. I may have to start writing down the names of those sims to see if I can find a common connection between them. Or I could get radical and remove my mods folder to see if it still happens but I hate playing more than 5 min without any mods. EDIT: I should also mention this didn't happen right away after installing the ECO EP. It started at least a week or more later after I'd been playing a new game in the Harbor. Although I did see the Landgraabs and a few other sims doing streaking jogs and pushups around my sims neighborhood. Even with all the WW naked settings disabled. Maybe a week later they just quit without me even doing anything else.

If the person that made those mods add a custom hidden flag. Might torso are just being hidden

And check for any broken cc. Maybe a person was trying to create an only bottom sim. And you installed that cc with hidden flags By mistake in your mods folder.

Lol, I edited my last post when you were replying to it. Only downloaded a new male player sim from the gallery with no cc to start a new game with ECO EP. Also had between 2-5 active female sims in household at one time with all the same cc and more but they never had missing torsos either. Guess I'm bewildered because it only happens with random townie and NPC spawns. Although I've seen almost the same thing happen with random missing heads that was the No EA Lashes bug. However just reloading the game didn't fix them. But as I said I've checked some of those sims with the missing tops and many don't even have any cc except for makeup, which all my female sims in the game are also using. Why wouldn't all the female sims in my game have missing torsos then if they all use the same cc makeup. I half expected when they switched to the naked outfit they would get fixed. But I can exit the game and reload and they get fixed. Aren't those bugged out sims using the same cc both before and after reloading the game? Makes no sense at all to me.

Could the game be trying to apply a situation outfit to those spawning sims that is being blocked by something else? Assuming a mod is doing this of course. We all know how EA loves to spawn those stupidly dressed sims for walkbys. (And no I don't have Fashion Police installed yet). Since most mods are only updated for the patch and may not have other things fixed yet for the ECO EP if new situation outfits have been added. Time to do more experimenting.

And sweaters are top female. As your problem. Well I haven't done anything much with MC Dresser as far as blacklists or whitelists and I don't even have a dressor.cfg file created yet. Since I don't have Seasons installed either it's summertime only, and I hate that so many of the EA tops are made for Winter, (long sleeves, sweaters & sweatshirts). I have to edit almost every sim in the game to give them summer clothing. Lots of summer tops from Sulani but they're so damn ugly and cc is done so much better than the EA junk, (they should be ashamed). It's not WW situation outfits because it's in the Nudity Menus in which I have Naturism disabled. Loaded game and no wandering topless sims are seen yet, have to wait for new spawns.
Scorpio Posted June 28, 2020 Author Posted June 28, 2020 Well I hate to say it's fixed because this stupid game will usually make a liar out of me sooner or later. Played for 3 sim days and even traveled to the community lot/maker space because I know lots of sims spawn there and I've seen quite a few topless sims in the past. Still haven't seen any with missing torsos. Late yesterday I had updated a few more misc mods I had missed before but still seemed to be working. Then I found a few other new mods for fixing some of the ECO bugs and NAP bugs. Although nothing related to any cc body items. This morning I removed 2 mods from 2015 called 'no spoiling' and 'fish don't spoil' only because I've also had a food bug happening too. Sims would eat about 3/4 of the plate and the progress bar would never complete and empty the plate but they'd just keep on eating forever. Thought it was a fridge/upgrade bug but still haven't confirmed if this one is fixed yet. I hate it when things get fixed and I have no idea what the fix even was. I guess this bodysuit is flagged for random, (check out the shoes and socks) Minerva Charm on the right. Guess I'm just happy they aren't missing any parts

Xd thats mean your problem was older mods, 2015 mod lol xd is obviously gonna be broken. My only old mod is nude massage, I let it, cause still working. is true, super old behavior u other mods can cause problems.

Scorpio Posted July 4, 2020 Author Posted July 4, 2020 Well I guess it isn't totally fixed yet, just less frequent. Still think the game isn't loading the complete sim into the game when spawning. Cassie 'something' was a homeless NPC, then changed to Villareal and moved back in to be mother of three teens since Jaques had since died from old age. She quit her job as a scientist in Strangerville and found a new job closer to home to help take care of her children. The other sim I see this happen to pretty regular is Darling Walsh, a Townie from City Living. Lana Denny a homeless NPC. (Used MCCC CASfulledit to check her and all was normal, then exiting CAS restored her to complete again). I suppose it's possible some of the sims I've edited may have become corrupted.

I'm beginning to think it's a new graphics glitch similar to missing hands and feet and the random hole in female sims' chests. Running an RX 580 with current Adrenalin drivers.

Interesting because I have an RX 560 myself. Probably also why I can't use UICheats anymore because it acted like a display error. But odd because it didn't start happening right after the patch but started around 2 weeks + after. I only see this happen with females which is also strange.
